I like the new update with Carl, it's different and feels fresh.
It felt like waiting for an enternity for some content with Carl and Matt.

I found why I didn't get new scenes. It's because I overwrite the game and I didn't see it was still v0.9.3... I must to delete the game but keep my savegames and I download again the game to unzip. Now, the game is v0.9.5 and I get new scenes (in my #14 savegame)I have 17 saves (yes 17 paths, I follow walkthrough to have multi-paths) and no new scenes...
I usually overwrite the games because I work but a few games doesn't work when I overwrite these games. It must to delete and to unzip the game to continue playing.

If the walkthrough flowchart is to be believed, Nat kisses Carl on the lips only on the Cuckold path if she choses to run after him rather than get distracted by Matt. Of course, to get the scene at all on the Cuckold path requires that Nat gets Carl's number at the bar rather than Matt's, which in turn requires her *not* to wear the more revealing dress when clubbing. Since the whole point of the Cuckold path is to explore Nat's promiscuity, I suspect there are very few save paths out there that will get this scene in practice.
Honestly, I think it points to a real structural problem with the update. I fully appreciate that the game simply cannot update all the paths at once and thus any party content from, say, Matt's side of the aisle has to be postponed, but even so, the choice of scenes to include here is just weird. We spent so long building up to the party only to end in a depressing anti-climax (or an uncharacteristically abrupt (and wanton) change of plans from Nat on a very specific route). I think these scenes would have made more sense if they were part of the Matt side, as the optional escape paths for people who wanted to change over to Carl. Instead it feels like people who want to divert from Carl to Matt get an extremely narrow escape path and everyone else is told their princess is in another castle.
I also wasn't thrilled with Ethan's portion of the Vanilla path. I don't care *how* vanilla you are, a grown woman hugging a distraught young man is not some shocking turn of events - especially when the whole point of the date was to lift Carl's spirits. Ethan's intense confusion over the sequence feels nonsensical, practically to the point of padding. It would have been far better to skip the introspective jealousy angle and just have Ethan briefly ponder once, at the end, why the date had apparently backfired. Still underwhelming, but at least the character feels like an adult.
That's my impression from playing my saves and reading the walkthrough anyway. I haven't started new playthroughs to see the other scenes so it's possible I'm misjudging the update, but what I saw just doesn't motivate me to delve any farther into it.

I agree about the structural problem. I have always thought the game had too many paths. The more complex it is the more disjointed it will become. I'm concerned it may get to a point KingB just walks away from it as it becomes too tedious. Hopefully not. I am really looking forward to the Riya content and how that will play out on the various paths.
The Ethan jealousy is a bit over the top. In saying that, he doesn't know Carl is emotional, Ethan's mind is telling him otherwise and doubt has set in. I have seen this sort of thing before. Not just vanilla men but even men who have shared their wives, will suddenly get hit with this sort of jealousy. Its irrational and comes out of no where, but then its an irrational situation. Very very few couples would allow this situation to start let alone observe it unfolding. I just wonder if KingB is writing from personal experience, or if he is fumbling for a way to bring drama in to the vanilla path?
I appreciate your thoughts. Nice to someone else enjoying nuances of the story.
