So, for anyone who wants to cheat?
Be careful using a save editor to multiply items.
Right now I'm stuck in a loop. Set all items to 99.
I went to revive the two harpies and the scene plays over, and over, and over... and either there is an in game glitch that is causing a scene to repeat without breaks, or it is doing it by being triggered by an inventory item I SHOULD only have 1 of.
Should be an easy enough fix: edit all my items to 1, do the mission, and edit back to what I want.
Now, the cons of the game:
(no pros? why not? because I'm not done yet. But trust me, with 12 hours on my save so far, it should be obvious I'm really enjoying the game!)
- No world map fast travel. It is a royal pain running all over the map, more so because you can't instant travel, or even just have a faster on screen walking speed for overworld maps!
- The art. Some is beautiful. Some lacks beauty but is really cute. Some is ugly as sin or I don't know what is happening. I really appreciate the hand drawn art, but with how good some pieces are, I wish others got the love they needed to be worth seeing.
- Sex scenes: this is NOT A PORN GAME. That isn't a complaint, it's just a statement of fact. I came into this game expecting sexuality to be an aspect of the story, but not it's centerpoint, and for the sex to be minimal. But.... look, there is minimal, and there is non-existent. Thus far, outside of
the deviant dwarves' bed most scenes lack art, and any description, of any kind.
Even if you don't want to do the art, follow the path of The Last Sovereign and have some onscreen text. Tell us something. Look, I still don't even know
If we've done more than just SLEEP with Fluorine. There is a hint we had a threesome, but no text!
- Princess Aurellia. I understand
many horrible things happened to her and she has suffered but she is insufferable as a character. It's not even that she doesn't appeal to me, it's that her dialog, behavior, everything, detracts from the story.
- Getting into bed is the second choice.
Releasing monsters is the second choice. The latter is the bigger deal. If I want to spam through a lot of them, I have to tap through seen dialog, again and a again, and make sure I stop tapping through before I cancel what I was doing. As there is, seemingly, no downside to this action (save losing the inventory item, but it only exists for this reason anyways!) why not just make "confirm" the default choice?
- Backtracking. A lot of it. Wouldn't be a problem with fast travel as mentioned above.
- Nothing keeps track of quests. I like a list of side quests, plot quests, etc. Especially when I save and go away for a few days. It helps me see where I was. There are indicators of where to go for story issues, so not a big deal, but a minor personal annoyance.
- Wrong MC.
Anyone, even 2 or 3 hours in, must have picked up on the fact that the most interesting character, and also the most out of place, seemingly, is Fluorine. In many ways, it feels like she should be the main character, instead of supporting!
-Money. I cheated in the first place because farming for money is a PAIN IN THE ASS. And
I don't like bothering for taxes, though if I didn't mind that, it just adds more points to me complaint about backtracking!
EDIT:
Last con!
One final edit?
Keeping the lore straight is difficult. Would be amazing for an in-game index that kept track of names, places, histories, races, myths, etc, that I could read about to keep things straight. Barring that, a wiki.
