I play on PC and I get the same behaviour. Normally when we sleep, it jumps past the bed image but this time it stops there with the "Zzz" button still visible. If I press it, the scene reloads but there is nothing that can take me further.
If you save at the bed screen and then load that save, you should end up in the kitchen the following morning.
Its early AM here, I was motivated to wake up by my bladder (again) I will see what I can do about this bug later today.

ahh answer is a few post above..save when you are at bewdroom and load and it port to morning...now i have enbcountered another strange thing..at evening MC says himself: it's time for the date...i thought was with elle..instead we are at port ,in front of a New girl named Jazz (never seen before!!! and MC takes her to the seafood restaurant...wtf is Jazz???

Yes, that was extremely jarring. But you find out a day or two latter that it was the waitress at the cafe that told you about the seafood restaurant in the first place. I don't know if it's a bug, due to the order you do earlier the "free roam" section, or whether a scene just got accidentally omitted, but it certainly had me scratching my head.
After the scene where Maggie asks to exchange numbers you take Elle down to the cafe, where you meet Jazz.
