True.
I however am not someone who only plays finished games. I am satisfied with games partially released. So long as there is content that I am seeking or enjoy. Whether a game is in development, on hold or abandoned does not bother me whatsoever.
The reason for my opinion on this, is because I recognize that the vast majority of games available thru websites such as this one, are free. What justification would I have to complain over an incomplete free product? Now, if I were paying for a product, that is a different matter. But again, that would not be something to get upset about on a website such as this one. It would be more appropriate to bring up on the relevant pay site. And if I were paying someone to produce a product and they failed to provide the product I payed for, I would then be right to be upset.
But as previously stated, the vast majority of what is available here and on other websites of similar type, is free. If something is free, the only right I have is to an opinion. Like it, do not like it, recommend it, do not recommend it. That is about it.
The previous list I created over 2 years ago, was only a list of games available at the time with similar theme. That may be appreciated by the community, trying to get their Goblin fix. There are several amazing games from talented Developers. And people, myself included, are seeking something to fill the void while waiting for the next update. The list was only to help people with similar desires maybe find something they may enjoy. I was not and am not concerned with a games production status. And if I were, I would not discuss it here, I would do so on Patreon or whatever other site is best appropriate for it.
Glad to see my posts from over 2 years ago are still getting traction. Isn't the internet funny like that.
