based on the version if they would continue as it has been going. important distinction. the next one might be the end it might just indicate 200 more releases in the end only the devs will know.

Edit: Just a funny aside the urban legend about what the "acronym" for fuck was is changed, at one point it was "known" to mean For (having) Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (being caught having sex out side of marriage). You said it means Found Under Carnal Knowledge. Most linguistic scholars would say it is derived from the word fornication and has its roots in Cockney English around the turn of the 19th century. But no one knows for sure as there is a possible root of the word that could date back to the 1600's but it could also be unrelated.

I'm curious about the Cockney theory, because I've always heard that it's older because it has cognates in other Germanic languages, as well as a recent(ish) discovery of "fuck" used in a court document from the 14th century.
But looking it up, I found a chart of "fuck". The fact it was made at all fascinates me.

It doesn't surprise me at all. As I said, there is a very similar word in italian ("ficcare") meaning basically the same thing. Insert something into something else. First time I heared it was in Indy 2 when Indy told Willie to stick her hand into a small opening (full of bugs) to pull a lever. In italian it's used in a sexual context, it's also used in conjunction with "nose" if someone is all too curious and puts his nose where it doesn't belong.
With only the sexual meaning on the other side it also exists in German ("ficken"). But since there is also a non-germanic version of it, I'd say that it is a very old word indeed.

I hate to go all language-nerd on this, but ficcare seems to come from Latin ficō, which is believed to come from PIE *dʰeygʷ, whereas "fuck" presumably comes from Proto-Germanic *fukkōną, and, in turn, PIE *peyǵ, so while the two words might superficially resemble each other, and might even have influenced one another (that's 100% speculation on my part), they ultimately come from two separate roots (which, however, do have similar meanings in the vein of "to poke or prick [at smth]").

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 ), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

Not sure where I am in the game so far but it really feels like Ground Hog Day. Are there any time skips or are we going to live every single day of the MC's life? Can we at least skip Tuesdays because nothing fun ever happens on Tuesday. A Knight's Tale should be a tale not a diary of every movement. We know life was set at a slower pace in those times, but we no longer live there. Other than that it's not bad.

I like story for the sake of story as much as the next person, and it's been a long while since I've played this, but from what I've read here it seems that all we're missing is just a montage or setting renpy to play like a movie and just let it go like this is a documentary. I remember liking what I saw when I first learned of this game in '20 but not what I was expecting from it. The completionist in me will want to do 'watch through' once it finishes. Great, now I'm wondering about who be best to do the sound booth narration

Wish the dev the best though, as it's still better than anything I could pull off.

Honestly not a "bad" game. It's actually pretty hot! It just lacks that certain something.... maybe it just needs a bit of conflict? anyway, I played it up through MC screwing the cute maid and then haven't played since.... I'll probably do a play once it's completed, but, again, it just lacks that certain "something"....
