The story will finish by 1.0 unless until he adds some drama to it. The guy's mom should appear out of nowhere like an R.K.O.

Good update, quite enjoyed the game. I'm not sure if things will progress quite as elaborately as jamdan has predicted, but I do think someone's gonna wake up with a handful (or face full) of something they might not have intended.

... please don't ask for drama, or else he might introduce us to the three most lethal letters in all of WWE porngames: N.T.R.

Seriously tho, the start for the next episode is pretty much fix. Bathing together will probably come next as well too.
Just wondering, who did you guys pick for the choice in the end? I somehow doubt it's actually relevant overall, but still..

Not all games have to be Acting Lessons :). Freeloading Family, Become a Rock Star, and WVM are all pretty conflict free and are all great games that are very popular.
That's where you're wrong. Don't substitute conflict for drama or emotional moments. Conflict is what makes story interesting. Every even moderate VN is not conflict free, Triangle is not conflict free, though most of the conflict inside MC's head. And considering mentioned games...
Frealoading Family: MC has problems with his father from the beginning, not so long after beginning he comes to incestual relations, he tries to earn money for the living and so on and so on, MC's life is not a walk in the park at all, so not conflict free.
Become a Rock Star: right from introduction MC has a conflict with his dad, then there's musical group topic, by itself it's source of conflicts, even if author only uses cliches (and dev is good in storytelling). Not conflict free again.
WVM: MC is a walking oximorone, he's agressive and sometimes plain mean on one hand, totally forgiving and kind to his harem on the other hand. Aggresive MC cannot live without conflicts and dev totally smash player's face into those conflicts. Not in any way it's conflict free game, I'd say it's the most conflicting from the list (wordsplay intended).

I think some players are (rightfully) wary of conflict in their adult games. Especially if the conflict is tied to the sex part of the game.

I guess I personally would be more interested in conflict that wasn't about possibly losing the girl(s) you're interested in, or them being "stolen" by someone else, etc. Though I'm no writer, so I don't know the best alternatives. I just think it'd be nice to play a game where the relationship(s) between MC and the girl(s) are rock solid, and aren't at risk from whatever the main conflict would turn out to be.

the previous game was called Triangle, this should be called Quadrangle.
I think the next game will be with one MC and four girls.

Or turning those into their medieval equivalents : Joust, spin the barrel, witches dunking and flogging
I could get into this.

As for the conflict debate - I think conflict is coming. Not sure if it will entail drama with the LIs, but Neverlucky definitely set the stage when he introduced the bad new king and especially the arrogant putz knight who wanted him to enter the tournament. THAT guy has a beat down coming. I'm thinking he'll develop that line of the story after the quad gets rocking.

Ok. I agree with your points regarding the other games. However, the conflicts you mention are more incidental to the story with the LIs, such that I didn't even remember them until you brought up the details. I still don't see it in WVM, but probably that's just me.

Interesting. I was thinking that the new king may come back into the story somehow. Perhaps you are right. Maybe neverlucky is just spending some time relationship building before dropping the hammer. No burning manors though! I don't think I could carry all three.

I think this the calm for the storm i think they get in a war or a rebellion at some point. Like movies you build it up. your old master did already said something like that when you got a lets call her shieldmaden he wants her save in a castle who he trusts. or i got it al wrong is also possible

I thought of that too. Alice's father could be involved in a plot against the new king and wanted his daughter far away from the capital before the shit hit the fan. If so, I see MC getting dragged into the conflict after it goes likely fatally wrong on MC's old mentor and he vows revenge or something. Any way it plays out, I think the next couple of updates will be very interesting, both from a plot viewpoint and also with the closing of the quadrangle.
