Netorare isn't just "cheating." It's when an object of affection gets emotionally stolen from the "sympathetic" character. For NTR to happen, the character doesn't need a formal relationship with the girl, just a loving/affectionate connection. This is why there can be NTR stories with mom, sister, childhood friend, and whoever you can think of because it's not about cheating. It's about corrupting or destroying the affection between the "good" guy and his loved ones and inciting jealousy (In the player/reader or the character). Also, considering that many porn games have incest, it wouldn't be weird to assume that an MC could have incestuous feelings that would make it feel like someone is stealing his girl.

In this game, is NTR (avoidable) a punishment for adopting the wrong decisions and making your MC an asshole with the ladies, or something like that (like 'you play the game wrong, you get a bad outcome') or it's just a kink that you can choose to see or not in a given time, according your tastes?
