the default link to download in OP, not the one titled chapters 1-10 is dead but as it's the first one on the list and typically used for the latest versions, so it's misleading

Nope no good. Quality of the renders is too bad. Got to ch4 but it is so grainy and no close ups. Just wide angled renders.

Well trying not to feel stupid now lol, noticed the game let's us load from what ever chapter we want but it's not obvious when you load the game.

Just a note for those that have save issues with the Chapter 1-10 version..
Start a new session (this s NOT a game, it's a Kinetic Novel), you will be prompted if you are a new reader, choose no, then you will be given the option to skip to the chapter of your choice, pick the chapter you'd like to start with (1-10). You will also be prompted to choose your name at the beginning, but will be able to 'continue' at the start of your chosen chapter.
As for other issues, if you could screenshot your error messages so that JJsworld can see the error your are seeing for troubleshooting purposes.
I'm just popping in here, I have another project that needs to get across the finish line this month...

I only got the error when I quickly flipped through the content, now it is no longer present during normal play.
What remains are the 3 missing pictures in chapter 10

If all you are going to do is piss and moan, go away. No one is forcing you to download and play the game.
