That is honestly something that has baffled me for a long time, why care who other people love and enjoy life with, if all participants are of sound mind and legally adults and not breaking any laws. (Had to come back and edit to add this, i don't consider laws that target minorities to be valid laws in any society, so ignore those kinds of laws when reading this comment) And sure, i personally don't have interest in seeing male on male action, or many of the kinks available in games, since those are not my cup of tea. I'll just skip the games that have content i don't like and let people who enjoy them enjoy the content in those games. Only situations where i've really criticised game about its content is if it's either badly written or badly depicted in other ways.

That's always been my thing about harems.
I've only ever liked those where everyone was involved like Sisterly Lust, Parental Love, Tales from the Unending Void (spoke to Perv, the harem will be similar to Sisterly Lust).
I loved how things worked here. Not so much a harem, more family fun time.
Everyone gets along.
Probably because they are too busy fucking to argue.
Also makes it so that the protagonist isn't worn out and die of heart attack within few years of achieving his harem, or turn into someone who ignores people in the harem.

Personally life would be great if every kink was optional and when it comes to games In a way it is.
I'm not a fan of Anal but alot of Devs seem to like to make it a compulsory part in the game play.
I how ever consider even then that its actually optional since I can either skip through it.
Or if the games shit or I think the MC's a douchebag I can optionally fuck off an play something else.
You never know you might want to consider that in future.

Very true but people seldom read what a games about IE, the overview or the Developer notes or even the tags.
Let alones if it has possible future tags as well before downloading and trying it.
Most of the time they never get past the preview pictures.
How ever that said and I'm not refering to this game which I have always liked.
But experiance has told me that unfortunatly no Overview or Tags or Developer's notes.
Can or will ever tell you just how Stupid an MC might be or how Creepy he is or how much of a Douche Bag he's gonna end up being.
(Again Not About This Game) you only truly find that out by trying the game sadly enough.
This game has a great MC however and I loved the whole game hope the next is as good or better.

Sadly I have to agree.
I've played several games with MC's that started off really good and ended up either dumb as fuck or really creepy.
I don't know how it sits with other people, I know some like it but the whole shower spying thing and sleep sex creep me out. I mean, the sleep sex thing is rape with a flowery name to lighten the impact. I don't know how to find someone that rapes women in their sleep anything but creepy.
The Mc in this is okay in that regard, more or less has his head screwed on apart from a bit of a crazy streak through trauma.
There are some games though where the MC just drives me nuts.
The worse ones are where the MC just constantly does dumb shit and still has hot women throwing themselves at him. Like, how?
Sleep sex is pretty much only really acceptable if there's permission, either actually given or very heavily implied permission for it, like wife waking up their hubby with a blowjob after a night of passion. In any other case it definitely is pretty rapey.
That's not "rapey", it's straight up proper rape. You can't get consent from a sleeping person. Stop using euphemisms for heinous acts. This is all fiction, which is why we can tolerate/ignore otherwise absolutely unforgivable shit like pedophilia, rape, inbreeding (my fetish, but only in fiction), vore and even german porn, but that doesn't mean we need to sugarcoat it.
As for this game: I tried it, but honestly, a game that starts with "MC is Mr. Uberchad who can do anything and has fuck you money" is not very compelling to me. Sadly, inbreeding is also straight up ruled out so I gave up when the typical 20yo-looking 40yo mom told me that babies between close family members weren't on the to-do list.

I quoted your "in any other case" part, which specifically ruled out prior consent. So yes, it does have to be rape.
