I thought I had accepted that this game was dead and that TLG isn't coming back, but then I had a dream that he did and was so disappointed when I woke up.

Hope dies last, I hope he'll return soon and continue his project. Only time will tell. This was the second visual novel I've read. And also the first one I wanted to explore from-to (every single choice, every single path)

Coming back to this thread is like visiting a cemetery to spend time at the grave of a loved one!
I've never seen an abandoned game get so many comments, proof of how much people loved, or may I say, love this game.

there is rumor that dev was kidnapped by the cartel, the one he was careless to write about so much and in detail..

Yep. Nobody knows what happened, not even the people who made designs for his game. A couple of weeks before the release of chapter 6 he just disappeared. A week before, he gave an update revealing the release date, so the thing must have been sudden. The speculations have gone wild. Some claim he lives in Singapore (apparently that is his time zone according to someone who got a mail from him) where making porn is illegal so some speculate that he got arrested. Other rumors say he got seriously sick or died. There have been a couple of people who claim they knew him but nothing they said makes much sense. One of them claimed he abandoned the game a long time ago because he got bored and just finally deleted it (doesn't make sense since he wrote about the update) and another claims he just took a break (also makes nos ense that he would delete it).
Something serious must have happened but what that was, nobody knows.

I don't care about the game so much as I do about his well being to be honest. Games are a dime a dozen. I hope he's okay.
I had honestly forgotten about this game until someone recently mentioned it to me.

Dang, im thinking dev is going through something that would ultimately make this game goat, i can sense hes coming back, just keep holding guys dont lose hope, we can attain peace, and support the dev guys

Yeah, I also find it strange. Especially since he was developing the game without ever revealing his real identity or origin. I think it would mostly be a problem for organizations.
My guess is that something happened that drained him mentally and he just shut it all down. But like all the rest, it's just a guess.

I don't think this is the case, as Ep6 was on the verge of release so the Dev would've gotten a morale boost both from old and new players.

Depends on what happened. Losing a loved one, as an example, can really mess you up.
