Normally I don`t play male MC games but I do like College ones for the shits and giggles. This one has plenty of drama and some pretty good emotional moments.

The complex relationship between our sweet, naive MC and Ashley with their lost childhood friendship and the pain of being apart was portrayed well during the phone call and bus scenes.

Jade`s character seems like she`s a sex addict who got into the sex industry much too young, but is it sex addiction? or maybe search for intimacy or feelings but in the wrong way?

Jenny`s character...I love her character and look, she gives so much of herself to others but tries to hide her depression and sadness inside.
I so want MC to give her some happiness in return, she deserves it, but Ashley is completely in love with the MC and that makes it so hard to choose for our boy.

This game has fantastic, realistic and flawed characters, amazing renders, plus great music...the poignant main theme "hello love" fits just perfect...and the subjects it touches on from peer pressure, personal grief, prostitution, family troubles etc. all adds up to an emotional rollercoaster of a game.

I expected just another silly, lighthearted College game but really did not expect to have a lump in my throat at times. This feels like the most mature of the College games on here.

I only have one complaint. The phone sucks...it`s ui is so clunky and easy to forget to check it as there is no visual clue you got a new message. Really could do with improvement.

Other than that, AOA Academy is a fantastic game that really can hit you emotionally and might just relate to your own past in some way.
    I recommend it highly.

Let's just jump right into it. Right off the bat, we have good things about the game. First off, I find the renders absolutely gorgeous. In my opinion, each LI is unique in terms of looks and they definitely keep my eye when on screen. Another good thing about the Li's is that I find them, for the most part, special. From the amount that I've played, each character seems to be motivated by something else and all want to achieve a different goal. Good. Finally, the game setting. So much better than the usual "Leave home for (X) amount of years, come back, then fuck the brains out of everything that has tits and can breathe." Also good.

I prefer to listen to my own music when playing adult games and my laptop is so shitty that I can't even really enjoy animations, so I'll hold neither of those things for or against the game. You're probably wondering by now, "Why such a low rating?" I'll tell you why.

I will admit that I have not fully played the version that is currently out, but bare with me. Our MC is, without a shadow of a doubt, a Gary Stu. He's young, tall, handsome, and hung like a goddamn horse. Of course I don't want to play as Jabba The Hut, but come on. It seems so obvious that, to every woman in the game, Mc will be a gift sent directly from God who has the ability to fuck all PTSD away with his problem-solving penis. Not to mention the fact he's probably going to do it all without wasting a second of thought on his father, who died about a week ago. It's not like we even got to see him really mourn his father. He was broken up for a total of about ten lines, then he moved on and forgot about the man who raised him. Ok.

Next, advancing through the story. I don't know if it's because I'm stupid, but to me it feels like using the walkthrough is absolutely necessary if you don't want to lock yourself out of a character's path. Due to the nature of the free-roam sections lacking any and all sense of direction, you'll end up clicking on random arrow keys and people to get all of the available content, while trying not to accidently end the free-roam, or even worse, lock yourself out of content. Seriously. It's chapter TWO. I don't know how many chapters the dev plans on implementing, but if paths and points are being locked and lost, then it's a major red flag. I don't mind replaying a game once or twice to unlock content, but it seems like this game will need to be replayed around six or seven times. Not good.

Finally, all of the references to F95's Number One get annoying after a while. We get it. You were either heavily inspired by it or have some unstoppable urge to throw shade it at. I really don't care which one, but it's already gotten old.

In conclusion, the game could be much better. I could go on and on about the little nitpicks. For example, the every now and then incorrect use of a certain tense. It doesn't really bother me, but it is noticeable. I'll probably update my review in the future when I play more of the game. But for now, 2/5.

I knew I'd love the moment I discovered it but I did not expect to love it this much! Planning to give a couple of more run-throughs to set up each girl's route since they are all so awesome. If you are looking for a good story with a slow build up to intimacy (depending on the girl, looking at you

The setting is pretty interesting and each girl has their own struggle from simple insecurities (which depending on the person can be very serious) to serious past traumas/ life styles and exploring this is gonna be fun (the little introduced got my attention). The girls are gorgeous! These are arguably some of the best renders I have seen and with the added personality of the girls it just gets me. The music is fantastic, I have to get the "Hello World" song. TLG knows how to use it to elevate the scenes to god tier levels,

I love how the story branches out based on your decisions and that really adds to the fact that your decisions matter. All in all the VN is awesome, give a short.

There are some grammatical errors here and there but nothing too serious. And some of the animation loops I don't like,

    Rating:
Story: 5/5 (Simple and straight forward, it's a teenage drama don't expect more)
Renders: 5/5 (Just look at them!)
Girls: 11/5 (Valery is best girl but Ashley is such an awesome heroine that she shakes my resolve. All the other girls are top tier)
    Music: 5/5

Let's just say I am in love with this VN.

    Hi everyone!

First of all, thank you so much TLG for this amazing game!

The story is captivating and really touching despite some small dialogue inconsistency but it's just the beginning of this game! :)

The renders, the animations and the girls are amazing and so beautiful! Faces, bodies and personalities are totally differents between them and that makes the game even more realistic. You will definitely find a girl who suits you! ;)

Finally the musics ... damn when I first heard "Hello Love" (main song) I got chills! The others musics in the game are so immersive and well chosen too! Big congrats for that.

As a conclusion I would definitely recommend this game and can't wait for the rest of the story! Of course the game needs some fixes but some have already been shared. Really good work TLG and thank you again.

Thanks for reading my review and good fun everyone!

In this game you have to give up your dignity to enter an american college and the game still give you the choice, but with a game over if you refuse, and honestly, I really have to force myself to continue the story, the bad ending seems much more desirable to me, I imagine the MC returning to the contry side and probably ending up marrying his cousin, at least she's cute, way more attractive than the monster tits that ask you to give up your diginty.
And that's another problem of this game : the female cast. There is no attractive characters except your cousin (who doesn't appear to be in the romanceable cast) and an asian chick with pink hair that doesn't really look asian if not for her korean name. All the others are vulgar big breasted dolls.
The game is also a very badly done sandbox where you have to randomly talk to people to advance the story, like in the train and station at the begining where the character doesn't really seems to know why he is acting the way he is.
And like every game with an american (college) setting and big breasted dolls, it is highly overrated.

Beautiful game with a Gary Stu problem.

I'll admit that I like school settings. I know they are over-played but they are also an easy way to surround the MC with attractive females. If the setting is college then it makes it even easier to plant some super-horny females in MC's path because it's college, YOLO!...right?

Needless to say I've played the two other major titles in this genre, both use three letters. I really like the dessert produced game and I was hoping to see similar things here. What I did not expect was a clone of that game with a much inferior storyline. This game even has the gall to make fun of that other title multiple times. They take several of the same models from that game and up their breast size. Fuck, one of the models has the exact same name! Christ. Even the phone app is a clone of the other game, right up to the font used. Okay, so I can look past some of this because the renders are fucking beautiful.

But then I get more into the story. Our MC is a super tall (this is mentioned a couple of times) hick farm boy from a place literally called "Old Town". He’s hung like a stallion (of course) and despite being uncultured (he’s never even been in a city before) he packs up his bags and heads to a metropolis in…New Hampshire? Okay, so maybe the Dev isn’t American, but anyone with the internet should know that there are no major cities in New Hampshire. It’s also not particularly flat and definitely not hot. Why attach your story to a real place if you aren’t going to learn some of the basic facts about that place? Moving on…this hick gets on a train and meets a cool alt-girl who he is not at all thrown off by, despite being a bumpkin from a tiny town. Not saying he should have not liked her, but he doesn’t seem to even find her exotic…anyway, he shows up, meets his long-lost friend who clearly wants to bone him and then hijinks ensue. By the end of day one he has five girls thinking he’s the best thing since sliced bread and ready to jump his bones. It was here that I realized that we had left the land of pink desserts and entered the realm of white-knight basketball players.

I did not like the “other” three-letter college game as I hate Gary Stus. Now, A.O.A. is better in that the adoration for the MC is not obscene (yet), but it’s right on the surface. The girls desire for the MC does not feel natural, there is no hesitancy, or natural build up. All the girls just like him because he says the right thing. Which is the other problem, the dude is supposed to be an “aw-shucks” country boy but he doesn’t seem to have an issue in sweeping all of these girls off of their feet.

Finally, the drama is just over-the-top. I’m pretty sure every female character has had a cry-face and it’s only chapter 2. Drama and sadness can make great stories if used correctly, but this feels more like a young-teenager’s idea of what “deep drama” is. Of course, the solution to all of the drama is MC and his penis. I should have known when I went through the opening scenes in the prolog. The thing with his Dad was just super over-the-top but I gave it a pass because it can be hard to establish a character out of thin air, but that same over-the-topness permeates the entire story. So I’m going to have to pass on this game.

TL;DR: Beautifully rendered game set at a college that is a clone of another game (also set at a college) while also having a huge Gary Stu as the MC. A+ renders, D- Story.

Simple (But good!) plot, nice girls, good writen characters and immersive music.

Sir TLGAMES is making very nice VN. It isn't very complicated. Easy to read, easy to enjoy! Great success formula i think. Also one of REALLY POSITIVE things about AOA academy - development time. Creator gives us, viewers, a lot of content in quite a low devtime.

ALSO WANNA MENTION - ALMOST ZERO H CONTENT

    TLDR Ratings
    Story 4/5 (simple, but enjoyable)
    Renders 5/5
Music 5/5 (nice immersive music, almost invisible, helps with immersion a lot)
    Jenny - 10/5

Worth playing, also Jenny best girl!

Insane production value, this kind of things takes times and it require a lot of it. I'm freebie guy anyway so it is fine. All the girls are insanely beatiful too and designed well. Elizabeth is my favorite.
Animation as of now in ch2 are nice tho the looping are not really well timed. Camera position are well placed and the LIGHTING my god are just superb.
It is harem too so instant 5stars, whats the point of creating the beautiful girls and yet you cant get them all.
Plot and story comes later, you can get away with it if they are shit but with good render and beautiful girls in your game. People forget that the most important thing specifically in this forum the fucking, sex, adult stuff or whatnot are the pillar.
However this game story is well crafted and thoughtout as of now in ch2. So props to dev for this and hopefully it will not be too complicated that it will be troubling and bite them on the ass later down the road.

The story is really great and intense (in terms of the more characterful and its past). I also like the animation and the girls look really great. I can't fault a lot because I really like stories and animations like that anyway. One of my favorite games

    Shirouste

Very vanilla, no kinky enough, lacks originality, and the sex scene feels super forced, like they are there to remember the player he/she is playing a porn game.

Yes, the renders are nice, but I got bored very quick

This game is really fun. I like the lighting everything is so bright makes a good vibe for me. Renders and girls are beautiful. Story and characters are engaging. Lewd scenes are arousing. I'm looking forward to new updates in the future.

This VN is just WOW and WOW
I usually do little or no reviews, but I couldn't help but do it in this game.

Gameplay is very good, the renders are fabulous, the story is commonplace but the way it unfolds is very attractive, the music is very well chosen and perfect.

The only one negative point I see is:
How the hell is it possible to choose which path (girl) with so many cute and tasty girls around ??? quite difficult with each choice no??:p
..in short.. one of the best VNs that passed through here in my humble opinion.

A really nice game in most aspects, love the graphic, sounds, and ofcourse some of the pretty ladies! Altough I wish there wasn't so much focus on just two of them for content.
Lets say you, like myself preffer Rebecca, Aurora or Sung Ji over Ashley and Jenny, then an already very short game with not much content is reduced significally. I hope this won't be a trend going forward.
A ingame walkthrough/notification for event triggering choices would be great aswell because it's so easy to miss stuff if you don't want to play with a step-by step walkthrough (i feel that somewhat breaks immersion)
Ontop of that I feel the updates are so minor and made to feel even more so due to the same problems of the big cast of love interests, don't get me wrong, diversity is great and all but I fear we won't have gotten much further storywise in say, a years time from now.

So a game with great potential, would have easily gotten 4-5 stars if the characters I found appealing didnt act more like background cast raghter then love interests.
A.O.A deserves a dedicated and large team to increase content of the chapters and updates.
I will continue following the game and might just increase or decrease rating at some some point in time.

You need a walkthrough for optimal results, but alt-tabbing non-stop really reduces enjoyment. Also the game doesn't let you know in advance that accepting an activity with a girl will sometimes lock you out of doing another activity with another girl. I had to load a really old save because I was locked out of the one I preferred. And this is from a game currently having the harem tag...
Sex scenes are extremely few as well in the current 2 chapters.
There are also A LOT of grammar mistakes like incorrect spelling, using the wrong time, etc. And the phone app doesn't clearly show when you have a new message and from whom, it clearly needs improvement.
It's a pity, the story seems decent and I quite liked some of the girls (looks and personality).
For me, this game is poor and I cannot recommend it because the problems I mentioned greatly reduce enjoyment.

Great game. I think it soon will reach a great popularity.

    Pros:
    1) Hot chicks;
    2) Jade is really something else hehe. Straightfoward characters are the best.
    3) Good renders;
    4) Good story;
    5) So far the romance is good.

    Cons:
    1) I gave it only 4 stars just because of this single reason: THE GAMES TRIES TO MAKE YOU FEEL GUILTY FOR CHOOSING ONE GIRL OVER THE OTHER.

This is a porn game, not a soap opera. I simply can't understand an adult game where you need to hurt one girl (who has already a sad background story) just to stay with other. It could be more fictional, where the MC just make the girls fall for him or you choose to reject them. There are games like this in this forum (i wont mention here because of the reviewing rules)

    2) Drama;

    3) Choosing one girl over the other will imply in: LESS CONTENT. That's why when the update is released (after some months) you just play a little and its already over... it happens because the dev is busy making paths that people won't load the save to play.. in another world: useless content.

There are devs that realized that instead of choosing one girl (path) over the other, it was better to choose if you want or not the girl(path), implying that you'll decide if you'll see more or less content, not being forced to make the choice or using a mod to do so.

OVERALL: this is a great game and you whould play it thou unfortunally it will pretty much looks like the other similar games. full of dramas and paths you didn't had the patience to load and play.

It's a pitty that majority of the games are being developed with this vision. There are better ways to allow players to make important choices without forcing our hands.

This is my humble opinion. Sorry for my bad english i'm not a native speaker.

There has to be something about college based harem games with three initials in the name. Something that prevents them of having any kind of believable characters or plot. Can't explain it otherwise.

This is a game about a dude going to college and meeting a bunch of chicks. Not the most original concept for sure. But I had a faint hope it might do something original when after a brief fight with a laughably villainous character, MC is being offered a job as practically man-servant from a rich and mysterious chick. The moment he steps in the house inhabited by her and a bunch of other chicks, he is being asked to practically do a sex show for them. So my initial thought was "ok, that must be something about shady sororities, power plays, intrigue, stuff like that". My logical assumptions based on that scene couldn't be more wrong. After that scene it does a 180 and turns into a cringy romance type of game. And I say cringy because it's romance with like 235 different chicks...

After that it predictably falls onto the same tired tropes those games usually do. MC is a white knight, the best dude in the whole world! And that awesome dude is running around to lend a compassionate ear and a helping hand to all those girls waiting for him! My name is Stu, Gary Stu.

And godamn, those are some girls with a lot of issues. It's like every girl is broken and needs fixing with some sob story to boot. Lost count of how many images of a crying or depressed girl looking at nothing this game has. And of course it's not like that place has any other males willing to lend an ear (and possibly get some pussy). No, those fair maidens somehow knew our dear Gary Stu would arrive on his valiant steed and they waited. All hot and single and waiting! I kept hoping for a chance to reply something like "bitch, I came here for knowledge, beer and pussy. This is college, not life coaching expo". But nope. And of course that forced drama couldn't be complete without dealing with heavy stuff like serious health issues. If it was a single character game and not a pokemon collector I'd probably find it interesting. But in this type of game, it just looks pretentious and tasteless to me.

The dialogue is as cringy as expected with characters talking about deep feelings and love while they are all lining up to eventually get on MC's cock. And of course it's foreshadowed they 'll mostly be fine with each other because humans and especially college girls are known for their lack of possessiveness and unconditional love. Although I admit I was confused a bit as some paths seemed to diverge too much from each other (mainly two sides). Since the tag is there I assume it won't be for long.

As for the visuals, they are decent but still seemed a bit off to me. Too many models having a same face issue. And too many close ups of them having the same kinda creepy smile when talking to MC. I guess it's meant to convey adoration but it just looked creepy to me. Guess it's another thing three lettered harem games have in common. One glance at the game banner should be enough to get what I mean.

The reason it gets a second star is that despite my personal taste the creator looks dedicated to the project. Solid release schedule and seems to have passion for the game. With so many milking scams these days, that alone is a reason to give some props.

Exceptional renders and animations! I've only just finished Ch2. yesterday and I can't wait for the next update already. The characters backstories are fantastic and I can feel the characters. This one is the only few games that I will read all the dialogues without skipping. Keep up the good work.
