Let's just jump right into it. Right off the bat, we have good things about the game. First off, I find the renders absolutely gorgeous. In my opinion, each LI is unique in terms of looks and they definitely keep my eye when on screen. Another good thing about the Li's is that I find them, for the most part, special. From the amount that I've played, each character seems to be motivated by something else and all want to achieve a different goal. Good. Finally, the game setting. So much better than the usual "Leave home for (X) amount of years, come back, then fuck the brains out of everything that has tits and can breathe." Also good.
I prefer to listen to my own music when playing adult games and my laptop is so shitty that I can't even really enjoy animations, so I'll hold neither of those things for or against the game. You're probably wondering by now, "Why such a low rating?" I'll tell you why.
I will admit that I have not fully played the version that is currently out, but bare with me. Our MC is, without a shadow of a doubt, a Gary Stu. He's young, tall, handsome, and hung like a goddamn horse. Of course I don't want to play as Jabba The Hut, but come on. It seems so obvious that, to every woman in the game, Mc will be a gift sent directly from God who has the ability to fuck all PTSD away with his problem-solving penis. Not to mention the fact he's probably going to do it all without wasting a second of thought on his father, who died about a week ago. It's not like we even got to see him really mourn his father. He was broken up for a total of about ten lines, then he moved on and forgot about the man who raised him. Ok.
Next, advancing through the story. I don't know if it's because I'm stupid, but to me it feels like using the walkthrough is absolutely necessary if you don't want to lock yourself out of a character's path. Due to the nature of the free-roam sections lacking any and all sense of direction, you'll end up clicking on random arrow keys and people to get all of the available content, while trying not to accidently end the free-roam, or even worse, lock yourself out of content. Seriously. It's chapter TWO. I don't know how many chapters the dev plans on implementing, but if paths and points are being locked and lost, then it's a major red flag. I don't mind replaying a game once or twice to unlock content, but it seems like this game will need to be replayed around six or seven times. Not good.
Finally, all of the references to F95's Number One get annoying after a while. We get it. You were either heavily inspired by it or have some unstoppable urge to throw shade it at. I really don't care which one, but it's already gotten old.
In conclusion, the game could be much better. I could go on and on about the little nitpicks. For example, the every now and then incorrect use of a certain tense. It doesn't really bother me, but it is noticeable. I'll probably update my review in the future when I play more of the game. But for now, 2/5.
