I have a Theory I guess you can call it a Idea
maybe the reason we couldn't do anything physical with Jenny is that this is not her part of the story it is Valeries
like the reason we couldn't kiss her When We Were dancing is because it was foreshadowing the dance
I'm just trying to make sense of this
I'm hoping after that we will become a couple with Jenny
and we can kiss her and be intimate with her regardless of who the story is focused on
Not being able to kiss her has absolutely no reason to be tied to her specific story arc. If it keeps following this method than they may as well release a separate game for every LI because if being intimate is so story focused the other LIs are kind of "just there".That's the problem with VNs, specially story focused ones that features multiple love interests with various subplots and story branches, story characters take up screen time and that character may not be your chosen Li and you're stuck with a character that you may not be interested in.
There's only few VNs that's handling this quite well but they typically have only two love interest with a couple of "flings" and those two LIs typically are integrated into the story one way or another with equal screentime.
They have been making the romantic and story aspects of the LIs so fixed that it causes scenes like that one. If they are going to make it dependent on one another then this is going to be a slog to get through. I goes back to what I said before, you will be rewarded for finishing their story arc while all the while running into a great deal of scenes that don't play out like they do in the real world because it doesn't happen to be their story this time.
If they keep it this way they really need to work on a bit of every, or a few stories at the same time, or the whole thing is going to fall apart. There are already scenes that clearly make no real world sense because of the prosses they are using.
