The pacing is fine, but instead of all this internal strife tell her waiting for sex is way hotter so let's tease and fool around for a while so it's more fun. Or even better instead of relegating her to just a weekend sex object, tell her you're in but you want to take it slow because you have all the time in the world. then the internal quandary becomes less wishy-washy and more about boy it's going to be awesome if I wait longer but oh my God this is so tempting.

But instead, the MC disrespects her own agency her ability to make her own decisions and relegates her to simply a weekend fling by telling her let's have fun this weekend but then you have to go find someone else because I'm not interested in a real romantic relationship, I really just want to get jiggy this weekend. Then throws an instant wet blanket in any enjoyable situation by blaming her for going to far, ignoring his arbitrary rules, and his incessant internal mental masturbation.

All this might not being he is not necessarily looking at her agency, but not trusting his own expectations/experiences/views of what is going on. He might not know what he wants and how far he is willing to go. So if she is leading him well beyond his comfort zone, he might have the same internal conversations as what you are saying that he doesn't trust her, or the situation and has to work it out mentally.

It's hard to imagine someone missing the point as hard as you just did. ps - part of the reason the MC in this game being constantly reluctant to go further is so that his daughter has to keep pushing him to do stuff to her. The pushing and begging and negotiating from her is sexy. It's a story telling device. If the MC was just Super Alpha Male Fantasy Dominant Incest King with a Fifteen Inch Cock from the beginning, it wouldn't be much of a buildup. As another American, I have to ask where you are getting your info from? If it is that crackpot Gallup Poll, don't rely on it as 'factual'. I would have to double check, but I think they polled 3,000(ish) people....hardly a decent sampling. You'd do better with The Pew Research Center.

Both reports agree that religion is declining, but it is no where near as low as Gallop is claiming (over all, not region specific). Christians are down to 65% (from 77% a decade ago), while religiously unaffiliated (atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular,”) now stands at 26%, up from 17% in 2009".
