Hey again, Ayhsel! This got tricky for us because, for example, people who like spanking and foot fetish but then have to choose between one or the other would miss out on a scene. So we felt like we would simply give you the option to avoid a fetish that you don't like and still allow you to indulge in all of them if you're into everything.

Why does she look like a puppet?

That's a deliberate choice. Often renders that attempt to be too realistic can cause a problem called "the uncanny valley" which makes people uncomfortable. Making the character a little bit cartoony allows the mind to accept the fantasy better.

We're suspending our donation sites for now until we figure out a solid plan for the future.

We're going to do five chapters for A Petal Among Thorns. There's a possibility of a sequel if APAT does well. We've got some interesting ideas for a follow-up featuring Bliss, Petal's sister, and another female character. We're not committing to anything until we see how Petal's game plays out. I love the pacing in this game. It makes sense. He is nervous about it being inappropriate, but has really hard time controlling himself because he does see her as a woman more and more. She is mature enough and sure enough of herself to know what she wants and does take charge when she sees an opportunity to do that. Feels like she is far more in charge of the whole thing than he is as she feels less inhibited by the taboo and just wants to explore everything.
P.S. I am not a foot guy, but her toeskies really are adorable.

Thank you, mr.AwesomeGameTaste! We're glad to hear you enjoyed it. The story is coming into its own in big ways. There's a major twist that won't be revealed until the sequel. If we do decide to proceed with a second game following the events of APAT, we'll make sure Petal is still a major player. She's not going anywhere. In fact, she would be absolutely instrumental to the sequel.

I agree this is much better than PFYT. I always thought Dallas should have gotten the spinoff. She is a much better leading lady. She took the lead more than a few times in Avalon and a stunning tanned up body.

True. But I wasn't just talking about the exaggerated eyes and facial features. It's the fact that she also has the same expression in every render.

If you skip the intro you miss the naming and title portion. Under Preferences there is an option at the bottom called Change Character Titles.

Hey Myrabelle, just thinking, but what might actually solve this issue for those who like both fetishes presented, you could actually put in a code/line asking if you want to see the other scene (dilemma solved) hehe

Just played it for the first time. It's pretty great so far.

It may be a small thing, but I love when games have the water beads/wet skin textures, and also the wet hair change for those types of scenes.
