Luca tricks Harry into stealing a USB of the project's code from Laura's office, and threatens to release it, making all of Harry's work null and getting him fired, and also maybe sent to prison unless they fuck for the month until the app releases and the code becomes opensource anyway.
Miriada makes a good case for why Laura would be considered trustworthy. Why Harry trusts Luca is anyone's guess.

Luca's 'plan' depends on Harry and Laura not sitting down and having an honest conversation, not just about the blackmail but also their insecurities. That's why there's some rules later on that assign Laura compulsory time with Luca. Still, Harry and Laura do meet a couple of times during the month, but what happens on those dates is handwaved (there wouldn't be story otherwise). A way of making sense of it could be "they were both having a rough time so they tried to not bring up heavy topics".
TL;DR:
Laura tries to be a girlboss, Harry has a boo-boo in the head but also tries to be a sigma. They fail spectacularly.

It still doesn't make a lot of sense. Harry knows that Luca can't be trusted even if he can't remember exact details. He tells Laura that and Laura is immediately more cold to Luca. Luca tries to just seduce Laura but because Harry has already told Laura about the bullying at least, her guard is already up and it doesn't work. But then Harry just trusts Luca is telling the truth. The details didn't matter to Laura in the beginning but then apparently do when the writer/developer wants Laura to be convinced by Harry's incompetency, when said incompetency is really a complete violation of how he and Laura acted in the earlier parts of the game.
But I agree with Kombot, and I've said myself, that the game is mostly fuelled by porn logic. However deep the characters start out, anything that would prevent Laura falling to Luca is routinely ignored or discarded so we can get the porn scenes. They're good porn scenes, but the story isn't as deep as it wishes it was.
this is exacly what i dont understand from this love triangle. she knows he did something bad and doesnt confront him about it even thought she is meant to be a straight forward charcter.
that said the stakes at the beggining are: have some time alone with me or your boyfriend will go to prison, which than escalates. BUT DOES SHE NOT HAVE A BOTTON LINE???

As it should, for better or worse. That's why HSelf is struggling so much to write the Aya side of the story (admitted by him), if you make a character too strong you break the suspension of disbelief.

Oh sure, I have no problem with a porn game being about the porn scenes. It's why so many games go for a simple premise and simpler characterization, because it's easier to hit the scenes you want to hit and it's easier to write overall. Not to say it's not appreciated when there's an attempt at stronger, more coherent plotting or characters, but it rarely lends itself to porn, and the devs end up having to break the story or the character in order to do what they wanted originally anyway. But I don't think anyone, whether the devs themselves or the players, should be under any illusion of what they're creating/playing, which they sometimes are.
I would agree Laura doesn't have a bottom line hence why she's top of my shit list along side Sophia from the game you tagged , it's the classic female is in a loving relationship and then they get a breadcrumb of attention from another male and all morals go out the window and they essentially turn into a cum dump at some point, but its funny as I think woman are more ruthless when it comes to the cheating aspect but in the end it's seen as the men are dicks if they do it but if a woman does it she's sexually liberated and she shouldn't be judged for her actions blah blah blah

I didn't expect that someday I would find a game that is very similar to this game. Only it won't have the NTR element. I'm just looking at the plot of "Aa Mama ni Naru! ~Anata o Omotte Afureru Oppai~" from Akabei Soft2, I see Laura and Harry. The names of the heroes are different. In short, Laura is also a hidden masochist. Only instead of NTR, she seduces Harry when Harry tries to be a lover. And she's raising Harry to be a boyfriend who will behave like Luca. nah, this PBLU is all about manipulation and coercion, what you referenced is lovey dovey couple who can't makes it be official. only similarity if you stretch it is the main setting being the office. but alot of PBLU plot is actualy happening in there houses.

This game is also on the extreme-ish side of things. I wouldn't recommend it at all if you can't stomach ntr.
At least, there's one route that make things...somewhat better.
Say, remind me, which ending has it that have Harry being with Laura and Aya?
Their are two endings where Harry ending up with Laura and Aya Luka in both of the endings is force to go on the ran from criminals that have more power then him, their is also a ending were Laura kills Luka
