Why are both decision regarding Kate's tavern dance coded in orange and red respectively? And if I approve of it does it lead it unavoidable ntr?
Also what does the "red heart with an hourglass in the middle" icon mean? Is it an indicator for the strong anesthetic? I wish status effect icons were described properly.
I'm working on my own walkthrough. It also lasts a while.

Kate's NTR possibilities have nothing to do with the dress. These scenes depend on other decisions. As far as I know, apart from the MC, she can fuck: Thomas, Rick, Arianna, Grant, Toren & volks. There are also smaller trysts with the soldiers, but they don't go to extremes. And these all do not depend on the dress.

Unless that changed with the last update. I haven't played that yet. ;)

Random question:
Does Chyos even plan to balance the game out? Its pretty easy to cheese money and combat, so everything starts to get so easy that loses the "danger" sense the story tries to give.

If you are a regular user here, (or you read the previous posts) you should know that normally Chyos release two updates per month, a work in progress one and a completed one.
But since either covid messed him up, or he started ambitiously making bigger updates the flow of the releases doesn’t anymore follow said approach, but he still publishes the same updates per month only that they are both work in progress or test versions (With unfinished quests, some major bugs, the walkthrough not updated et cetera).

Patrons vote for what content they want to see at first, next updates‘topic shall be like this:
- Currently: Mira’s monastery update
- Next one: Melissa
- Third place assured:Rework an balance update

The others can surpassed at any moment by votes but here they are:

- Penny
- Julia
- Bianca and Gavina
- Kate and Claire
- Arianna
- Kirlic
- Sophie

No Rumah or Gwen updates for this round (that will end probably next year in spring)

Weird, you are the first person that says that’s too easy.
He wants to rebalance the grind, scenes and whatnot, during the rework update we will know more…
Or during a conversation with him
Yes.

What the fuck is Bazinga?
Bazinga is a cry of war that inculcates fear into the enemies.
It’s also a cry of love, of desperation and of horniness

I would actually agree with him but with slight modification: it's either too easy or too hard - many traditional rpg games fall into this trap i.e. - there will be some threshold, and prior to that threshold enemies are extremely hard; bordering on unfun, and then after you crosss it, fights are trivial, bordering on boring.

IMO a game that has ideal fight balancing is the original Wicked Rouge if anyone here has played that. The fights can still get you killed at any level, but they're also usually winnable except if your gear is total crap.

Part of the problem in ASWS is just not enough item options early-midgame. The introduction of leather armor is good, but realistically it comes too late (past that proverbial threshold). The real jump is between not being able to kill the groups of 2-3 orcs in the northern woods, and breezing through them. There are certainly other powerspikes/challenges; like the lvl 25-35 bandits or orcs, or the 32-34 bandits, but at those points the player is pretty well equipped and has things figured out.

This could be improved by adding more diverse weapons/armor early on- which could be easily added through the form of John sidequests.

Really? I'm not even a pro gamer and i always end overlevel'd and with more money than i need.
Weirdly i dont see that much of a grind since time skip helps alot, the only thing that sucks is grinding corruption on some girls and the fact that some quests (early ones) do not have alot of information on the dialogues (so you have to use the wt) or content that is locked behind some quests even if they didnt have to.

I love going hardcore especially in rpgs, but I don’t know if he’ll go that route.
In the notes I specified details that could and should improve the game, he will read them after Mira.
Improvements such as items, more enemies, new skill to find, a better questlog system.
I even pondered on putting a Kamasutra option, with the list of all sex scenes and how to get them.

Eh but eh I mostly agree with Yotetar, it will be a balance that will leave many satisfied and many unsatisfied.
It will definitely fix some problems tho, especially on the orientation aspect wise of quests and approaches.
Now he just needs to read my notes after Mira and have a colorful discussion.
And that’s it.

Can someone upload the last post of chyos on patreon or tell me where to find it.
A Fateful Pact

Good morning!
It's now past midnight here, as so often shortly before a release I decided to finish the update first before now writing this report.
It's been a long week. I pushed myself a bit and thanks to that I was able to get the update done (almost) in time. Until early this morning many of the story strings hang losely around and the quest was pretty much unplayable. I connected the last strings, added 1 additional animation and now it is hopefully all working and playable.

A bit more in detail about this week: Most of the animations for this update were completed this week. and by that I mean editing and implementation. Also a lot of the quest dialogue was written in the past days. Until a bit earlier today I wasn't sure if I could really get a working version together. Sometimes things work out as planned.
But of course not without some restrictions. As already mentioned in the release post I had to make a few cuts here and there. Originally I had planned to make some more interactions with the priestesses (you will notice that when you talk to Gabriel - the monk in the kitchen). This part isn't done yet but it will of course be added in 0.5.5.0.
Another part that is currently not done is Syfa's part of the quest. For those of you who have made a pact with her there will be an extra corruption route + some changes for the ending of the quest.

The questlog is something that gave me a bit of a headache for this quest. I must admit that I was tempted to leave it completely blank and only give the task "investigate in the murder of Bernard". after all if I do a step by step thing then there is pretty much no discovery that you can do yourself... I will have to see how I continue it for the rest of the quest.

Time to speak a bit about the goals for July:
Now that the 0.5.4.6 update is mostly done (some bugfixes probably missing) I will continue with Penny & Natasha's bonus scene. This fits into the theme of this update and the scene is overdue. (I know that some of you disagree and would prefer if I only focus on Mira's story, but I've delayed this scene now for over a month already, it's really time to get it in so that a new scene can be voted for).

After the bonus scene is done I will continue with the story and complete the quest for the monastery. Since all the surroundings are now done I can finally focus only on the juicy part, which is writing events and some more interactions for the women. Especially Mira needs some more content now that she has a new outfit. This is also something I would like to update at Arenfield... together with some of the scenes she has there... But I know that this update is already a lot bigger than others before it. As much as I love to work on Mira's content, at some point I have to restrain myself and move on to what comes after. We will see how much I can cramp into this month, by the end of it I really want to move on to the next story, which will be about Melissa (finally).

So that's where we currently are. I want to give this update a satisfying ending, so I hope you will be fine with me finishing the story around the monastery for probably the whole month. If I manage to get this done quicker then cool! I won't dally of course, but since I can't really estimate the time needed, I don't want to raise false hopes that Melissa's update will also come this month.

We will see how it goes, for now it's time for me to get some sleep!
I wish you all a nice weekend!

I usually hate western 3D games on this site cause how ugly and tasteless they look and that is down to how DAZ assets look. For all the nice render which is mostly due to lighting and poly count daz animations and scenes look sterile af. The more closer to realism you get the more you start noticing the flaws and uncanniness I guess. Not to mention in some game DAZ models straight up look like inhuman goblins or interbred people lmao. On the other hand while TK17 models may not be as sophisticated it has that that early sfm and skyrim porn mod feel which leads to sex scenes looking not as dry and slow like daz3d and the fucking looks actually somewhat violent and has comparatively good momentum. I think using club17 for this was a good idea. The banner for the game tho, it needs to change. I saw that banner and ignored the game initially cause I thought it was some uninspired daz shit until I caved in due to word of mouth and gave it a try.

In regards to the gameplay tho, I agree with the other user tbh. Most decent rpgs can strike a good balance with its progression curve, only mediocre and bad ones have the issue with early game being too harsh and late game being a breeze and while ASwS is far better in regards to how it handles normal gameplay mechanics and exploration the combat and encounter design part area bit lacking, it's not all bad it's actually teetering on the edge of being something good but at the moment having to seek out enemies yourself to gain level is kinda bad. It wouldn't have been an issue if there were more actual combat encounters that you had to do since I also like having the combat being optional for normal exploration but as it is now the mandatory encounters are very few and to win those you need to level up which is done mainly by seeking out normal encounters in the wilderness. I know the game is still in early development and there are still big areas yet to be added, like the Arenfeld 2.0 and many more but I hope either there will be more unavoidable combat opportunities in the new areas or there are other means to level up at the same pace as regular combat with properly leveled enemies. Cause as it is now, leveling up is really slow without combat and having to look for fights with wolves, orc and brigands over and over again is pretty tedious. Maybe adding elderscrolls style trainers could be a good idea too since at some point you start overflowing with cash if you manage your finances right.

One thing Chyos wants to add are the billboard quests near the in, another to get repeatable exp without necessarily combat

In the days in between you should kill the cultists in the ruined monastery, they are the same level as the fiends and drop Heal Potions and good money

Yeah I was surprised to see literally no content for the notice board implemented yet. But I dunno, repeatable radiant quest has its own limitations, it could get tedious if designed hastily.

Wonder what kinda alternate/ntr content the queen, princess and Katherine will get. Chyos hasn't divulged any info regarding that I assume.

Edit: Hey zARRR could you please share your full ntr route save up to the latest patch if you have one? Would really appreciate it. I want to rewatch some of the scenes but I currently don't have the time to go through the game again.
