For 0.47 without reading the patch notes I am going to guess that a bunch of content was added with placeholder art, only a fraction of existing placeholder art has been filled in, and quest lines like "Missus X Jane" are still fully unplayable with bugs.

Ya I will pirate the game here but I am not giving the dev any money for such half ass work. Also the fact that I saw the "Missus X Jane" arc on a roadmap to be revamped tells me he knows how fucked it is with bugs and is just burning it down to start over. Hope he can at least reuse art so we do not get as much placeholders when he does it.

These updates are confusing when ypu have to continue where you left off because the main story gets confusing and tangled. Also why alway must you talk with Hitomi. Next update I'm starting from the beginning and using cheats cause sheesh!

Ya, some side story lines like "Missus X Jane" are fully broken and unplayable. In his recent post talking about the next patch he said he is going to release on Steam (already on GOG) so I think I should review it on Steam so others know he is not a developer to support. He need to feel the pressure to do better.

Hey, yall.
It's a month away from the Alpha 0.48 early access release! Our goal is to have Effie's story fully implemented into the game including all rendered scenes and H-scenes.
Right after that, we'll be working on a camping trip storyline for the 2 favourites as a thank you for sticking around and keeping an eye on this game.
Moving forward, future side story lines will be shorter but still include a sizeable amount of content. It won't be anywhere near the size it used to be as we don't want to end up spending months and months on one character but allow the existing characters to finally have a spotlight and meaningful character and relationship development.

No idea what Main Story code being 90% looks like, aside from buggy. 60% of art being done checks out, though, based on past version. On the one hand, I’m happy that the last year has seen actual, quick progress for the first time in quite a while. On the other hand, I wonder how long it will take to actually fix the art, and how much content will be cut for the sake of expediency.

It’s kind of pointless to have a porn game if the porn scenes are fade to black. Yet that has happened several times now. During the party scene, the MC can spy on a couple, and the code still includes a mention of adding images for that. However, I doubt this will happen. The recent orgy was just some sprites talking about how they were going to have sex, then nothing.

Probably not. Every update fucks the game up even more and what little substantial content is there isn't at all worth it. There's a decent chunk of content if you're willing to sink the time into this game for it, but a lot of it's dialogue leading up to some short, simplistic slideshows in place of animation and the end doesn't seem to be even remotely soon. Not with the game in this state, at least.

I don't think it's greed, as many assume. I think it's just a guy in way over his head without much skill and very little time to develop any. With this as his primary source of income, I can't imagine he can afford to go on break to study up, nor finish it early to make something better afterward.
