if its giving you a 0x80004005 error its because the windows default extractor program is wank, i suggest you try using 7zip as that worked for me when I had that issue

So I reuploaded the unfixed version with a much more compatible zip format, and the links in the release post should point to these new ones.
I am pushing the fixes for the issues in zoicite's post for much later as they are pointing to much deeper issues which are not straight forward fixes (which is double thanks for pointing them out) and would break already made saves. Mostly boils down to not everything in the code being adapted to the new systems in time for release. These issues aren't so big to the actual playing of the game that they prevent the game from running to completion.

Haven’t tried the new upload yet but I managed to get the old one extracted with a different program. Well done on the mod! I didn’t read most of your big story update posts so you got a fresh first impression. I really like the sexual liberation/corruption cult angle. Good setup for having different levels of lewdness around the town.
No comment on the bugs since you are apparently already working on them. Hope you’ll improve the hint system for the next iteration. I also hope that Olive Drab will return soon. Even a handful of custom pictures could elevate the mod.

really love where this is going. The sex world was what drew me in to the original game but was made to seem like its a bad place. this is more promising, I hope for total debauchery in later updates.
Just trying this mod and found the inventory error too.
You can fix it by copying the two attached files (they are from the source game) and adding this two lines in defaulst.rpy file.
default inventory = Inventory()
default cheat_on = 2

Will not work with existing saves, some core objects changed over the course of me working on this fix. Bag, back door, and map should work.

Not sure if that has to do with me using unren, but occasionally "an exception has occured" messages interrupt the game. Appearance seems random and reloading the same scene/going back a few steps and starting again fixes the issue.
A recent example:

- That stupid error! It comes from Ren'Py not liking that I truncate the text when skipping or rewinding. But it's like, if you have a lot of text in the box is it better to have it overflow past the bottom? It came out of the code I used to implement scrolling say boxes, which isn't normally shown unless you change the font size to be huge (we don't have a lot of large monologues at the moment).
- Aside: Our game is mostly compatible with all font sizes that can be set in the accessibility menu. Including menus and buttons that change size based on text and menus that scroll if they become too big,

anyone know if Gee ended up redoing the art or something? Is the mod going to keep the old art? I dont remember the mom looking the way she does now, thought she looked different

they are revamping a lot of the art, because they need to. in the original, there are barely any smiles for example. also they need new assets for the direction this mod is going

The game's code and story are coming along well, but we haven't been able to get into contact with olive_drab. We are now looking for an artist to join us with developing the mod.

Don't worry with the way the story is being written players shouldn't have to go through thirty hoops for five seconds of joy. We're hoping to make things evenly paced so that people who want to sit back and enjoy the story can but also make it to where people who come for the porn can enjoy it as well.
