Just to be super picky, we're not talking about the main character here being lesbian, we're talking about her being Bi. She obviously likes men.

Strictly speaking, yes. But since you can play this game without having a sex scene with any male character, practically speaking, you can play a "lesbian" playthrough, if that's what floats your boat. In fact, even though canon-wise Sophia loves Liam, to play the Ellie route, you need to skip all sex scenes with him.
IT'S A GAME. Got it? A GAME. Sophia will be whatever the player wants her to be. If the player wants her to be a full on lesbian, then she will be a lesbian.
The 'lesbian' issue comes later;
First, the male characters are shallow, empty, husk. Sophia has the most rapport and affinity with Ellie and Patricia.
Yup, Patricia might be the one Sophia is most close with or has the most rapport with, which I am sure Ellie will change; probably in the next update.
The buildup with Ellie and Sophia and the actual culmination (till now), is the best thing I have ever seen in an adult game. I have played the mentioned route 10-20 times, and without a doubt I am going to play it a hundred more times, waiting for the update.

LOL! FWIW, the most common explanation I've seen is that it is a sort of sexual territorialism. It's the same reason why so many of you guys hate NTR. "I'm the only dick allowed, hurr durr". Also, for more additional stupid, because "lesbian sex doesn't count". Those are the sort of men who deserve having their girlfriends seduced away by Ruby Rose.

In reality you are quite right with your statement. But. If there is still a male dominated/ruled industry with a 90 percent+ male target audience, lockerxx statement is right too
I don't know how it all came down to NTR, but whatever.
I would say that dislike for NTR comes from the animal side of man. People are greedy and selfish and of course they do not want to share their treasures. Sharing someone you care about with someone else is nonsense. If the man is a cuckold and his partner fully agrees with that, then have a nice trip. I just checked your streaming out of curiosity and I must say that I was surprised, you have a nice voice, girl. I thought you were from Asia before watching it because of your avatar and the name of that site. I had never watched a video of someone reading these VNs, but that was interesting. There are still things you should try to improve, like a better mic and a more fluent reading. Also there are some technical problems, some interruptions in the audio and sparks from time to time and when you click is a bit annoying sometimes, you should try to keep away the mic from the mouse and the keyboard. But the voice is there, It reminds me of ASMR.

She's married to one, but it doesn't mean she always has to like men. You can see cracks in their relationships with the way Liam works so much that he's hardly ever home and he has a serious gambling problem. On the GW route, these issues are overlooked, but on the other paths these issues are more stark.
Sophia is also a very sexual being and on the non-GW paths she's growing ever more frustrated with her husband's absence and with his general lack of attentiveness. In steps several characters - Dylan, Sam, Patricia, Ellie, Alyssa, Nathalie - that show her both affection and attention, and thus she begins to feel temptations she didn't know she had due to her frustrated and pent-up state. She can and does often find that these characters show her more care and affection than he husband has lately and it's easy to see how she could fall out of love with him and in love with someone else, and that could easily be another woman.
There is some pay off with certain things, but in terms of her having sex with anyone other than her husband, we still have quite a ways to go before we get there.
