Well it maybe due to the fact Decentmonkey still has his Patreon active. If he or any dev for that matter, asks their loyal fans to follow them on another monetization platform, I'm sure they will. But yeah, limited payment options can be a hurdle, but it wouldn't hurt the migration significantly, because people would be willing to find ways to support their favorite creator.
But closing Patreon voluntarily isn't an option, that will mean losing a lot of earnings per month while the patreons migrate to another platform. The only option is like DecentMonkey it's doing it, trying to collect the subscribers he can in Subscribestar and if someday his Patreon is closed against his will, many of them will migrate to Subscribestar, but I think the number of subscribers will never be the same, always significantly inferior. By the way, why nobody here use onlyfans? Bella Throne made 1 million dollars there in a few days.

It's never that easy. A huge portion of patrons do not pay close attention to a creator's Patreon page- so if you were to try and move from one service to another, the creator would lose a huge proportion of their backing. Case in point, when Palmer died in October, the Love-Joint crew was forced to start a new Patreon page because of legal issues with Palmer's page (basically Palmer set it up for himself before there was a Love-Joint studio, and he never got around to expanding the ownership to any of the other members). The team was forced to post comments on the Palmer page telling everyone to migrate to the new Love Joint account and close their Palmer account. Last I checked a couple weeks ago, Palmer still had 1500 backers, and there were still people trickling in to the new account wondering what was going on. That's money that the LJ crew could use, but the backers aren't paying attention and don't even notice that they're paying for a service that isn't delivering them any content.

wait why is this game so popular theres barely any scenes
You're assuming it's all about the scenes, but it's not. It's about the story. Personally I'm enjoying the growth of Ellie as a character. For some, for example, it's the corruption of Sophia, whether it be by Aiden, Bennett, Morello, whoever.

If we wanted something that was just scenes, tied together with a little story, that's just porn, and there are other sites for that like pornhub.

It´s popular because it is an very well done erotic story of corruption. And the art is extremly good and the MC Sophia is more appealing and more beautiful than the generic girls you see on the other games, like the ones in Deliverance for instance just to give an example.
It´s a slow burn, with already many softcore scenes and at least 3 hardcore ones.

I think there's some confusion here.

Lessons of a Life (or whatever it's called) is the Patreon- approved version of AWAM. If you're playing AWAM you're getting L&P's true vision of the game. However, you have to know to ask L&P for AWAM. If you do what I did and just download the game that is available on the Patreon page, it's a rebranded version of AWAM called Lessons of a Life. It's reworked to get around Patreon's TOS. Basically, when you join the Patreon page, L&P can send you a link to his own site where you can download AWAM. That site is not officially linked on the Patreon page, and it's super duper double secret.
Can you send the link for Android that is available on patreon page lessons of life

It's not really that popular. After all the game is almost 40 months old.Other contenders are mostly way younger, don't have updates from a long time, completed or abandoned.Only 6-7 games from the top 100 are older than AWAM and still ongoing.
Also before 2017 there is barely any recognition of the games, leading to almost no interest. Not to mention F95 was created sept 2016.Way after the start of some of the games.

Hi, the story and the art were the reasons that I had been originally captivated to AWAM but afterwards the intentionally extremely slow progression and opening of not realistic and pointless story lines pushed me out of the game play. I still keep an eye as I prefer adult games or comics than porn which in my opinion is boring.

Yeah it's so "unpopular" every day some new person comes in whining about when the next update will be  :LUL:

I don't have a link because I canceled my support after last month. I'll renew my membership after the next release, but I can't justify an open ended commitment when releases are so sporadic. But why would you want Decisions of a Life (That's the correct name, Lessons of a Life was incorrect)? It's just a censored version of AWAM. Are there elements of AWAM that make you uncomfortable? If so ok, I just hope you know that Decisions of a life is not a separate game.

You don't get that the game is here way longer than 99% of other games. So that alone give it much more time to gather popularity.BADIK is for example really popular game, because it is with almost same popularity for 2 and a half less time in development.Or WVM or Radiant or What a Legend.Or even the fucking BB-it gather almost all of the views for only 13 months.
