Yes, some do, right. Others lose weight in their argument. Actually, I never intended to support a game. Why pay something that you can get for free. But these exact forum participants made me donate a solidarity contribution. I will stop when I think the developer no longer deserves the small donation. But I'll decide that, no one else.

We will give praise where it is due and we will complain when we see that something is foul in the State of Denmark. In the case of AWAM more and more alarm bells are starting to ring and the pure disdain L&P has for the site that made his game popular does not help a bit.
Look at a couple of other threads here, where there is far less hostility even from the hardcore complainers, because they do not have reason to. AWAM started great but since about 1 1/2 years is on a trajectory that is worrying.

Very well described. I am one of those who once gave money to AWAM, but have by now realized that something is going wrong.

If more people would start to think a bit more critically and check from time to time if a project is still realistic it would force devs to be more professional.

F95's rules are that if a creator does not update his Patreon with even a single simple message after three months, the game can get the abandoned tag. Technically that's what got Milfy City busted, INCESTOR went three months without a single update on his Patreon. I believe the other recourse is if a game goes 2 years without an update; even if the creator is active on Patreon 2 years without a new release will get the game the abandoned tag.

Now, if a game like AWAM would get an abandoned tag after just three months of inactivity on Patreon, that's another question. Milfy City had a lot of things going against it, so the second it hit three months since an update the tag was applied. For other games that don't have the baggage that Milfy City does, the mods may not be as quick to pull the trigger.

But honestly, I'm just kinda over it. L&P has the game and patrons he wants. While I have some interest in the technical aspects of this game, I'm really trying to remove myself from the routine discourse. He wants his game his way, and his patrons seem happy with that- and neither really works for me anymore. So I don't know if there's really anything to be done.

Please don't give up on us yet. Just do what and I gather others have done, and find some other games to enjoy in the meantime. If you play enough VN / games, then should nt have too long to wait for at least one of them to be updated!!

The Apostles's sister is mentioned as being older and had travelled - currently in Japan IIRC.
That's what some of us were hoping before this update is that sister might reappear and that we might get some hot scenes between her and Sophia. But those hopes dashed by last update.

Since this event was not previously part of L & P's schedule, one could assume that he is trying to tighten his schedule and bring events forward. This is another reason why it will not be a branch point for the Sophia-Sam route. Otherwise Sophia would have had an inner monologue when the invitation was issued.
Only the question of planning the bachelor evenings for Sophia and Liam makes sense to me, there is a lot to discuss beforehand. A simple invitation for an evening for four can also be discussed over the phone.
Liam's behavior during the wedding dress event will be another reason for the invitation (When Liam is alone and Sophia Aiden's task is done). Only here could there actually be a branch point. If the Morello event did not take place, Sophia, if she catches Liam checking out Cathy, could worry about whether she would be jealous if Liam and Cathy had sex. Which then could lead to a swinger event. But if she had to "prostitute" herself for her husband on the same day because of the gambling debts, she will react pissed off and ask herself what it actually means to her husband that Sophia saved his life / health. Another coffin nail on marriage.

I enjoy reading comments that show attention to detail in the game. I enjoy it all the more when someone responds thoughtfully to my comments. You make some good points here that tie nicely into a rational conclusion. May I ask what you noticed in the events so far that could develop into an interesting development between the Parkers and Andy & Cathy? In spite of my predilection for what is represented in the Sam route I believe that the Andy & Cathy route holds encouraging promise as well.
In short, what possible romantic scenarios do you envision between the Parkers and Andy & Cathy (besides the swinging option already discussed)?

I have never told him how to make his game. I have suggested he consider options to improve production. And I was a contributor. His latest update however changed my mind and I withdrew my support. I am not the only one that has made this decision. Other's choose to support him for their own reasons. Do not presume that all who disagree with him here have not supported him. That is your fail not ours!

I know everyone refers to His addiction. However, it is not actually displayed that way. Until they got to the Casino, he was not hitting every Casino in his path, he was not at the sports bookies and he does not have a bookie rolodex. He had this one epic fail and suddenly is an addict. He clearly has fashion acumen but, maybe he is a mathematical idiot. (I have a pair of 2s I got this yeah!) As noted in another's post above he does not see the beauty in front of him. WHY? He is a prop to get the story in a direction. He is maneuvered into position at certain moments to shove the story in a desired path. In short he is a tool!

Yeah. In my post, I didn't want to bring up the can of worms that is Liam's gambling addiction. My mother had a gambling addiction and it really hurt our family. But his behavior is more consistent with someone with greater impulse control issues. his gambling is not the only scene where he demonstrates a profound lack of maturity and self-control. the sad fact is that this boyishness and incorrigibility might be why Sophia adores him so much. She shows a profound sexual interest in men (and boys) who need her to mother them up and draw them out of extended adolescence with her sexuality. Even in the goodwife playthrough she treats these males in her life gently and with care even when they would be better off having their asses kicked. Early in life she seemed more attracted to mature men, when they possessed the maturity she lacked. However, somewhere along the line man-babies managed to grow on her. Like athletes foot or something.

No I get it quite well. It's a game or visual novel or whatever you want to call it. Complaining about something that just comes out that doesn't meet your expectations is fine; constantly complaining about the same thing over and over and over again as a few on here do is obsessive and seems to be more about the complainer than the game creator. The creator can make the game anyway he wants and release it any way he wants. It's his game, his work and his life issues that he has to juggle while making the game. If you don't like it fine. There are plenty of other games to partake in. If enough people decide this is not for them and stop patronizing the game, maybe the creator will take notice and change his ways. Apparently that's not the case as most are happy with his progress so far so he'll continue doing it the way he wants.

Some of the complainers seem to act as if they revolve around the game and need updates to come out because their life is so dull. If true that's sad. It's just a game. If L&P succeeds and finishes it, great! We all get a great game to enjoy repeatedly. If for whatever reason he doesn't and the game dies, oh well. That's life. You continue going to work, meeting friends and look forward to the next new game. Some of you take these visual novels way too seriously. Nope, your post evidences that you do not get it! I am a hobby writer and I know fracking well how the creation of a story goes and when you go after your vision of it! In all that time AWAM in on, I criticised exactly one scene, the Shota, because the depiction is problematic and asynchron to most story arcs, e.g. Dylan´s, whose Jogging event suffered from a two steps forward, one back in comparison.
The rest of my "Beef" with AWAM is that L&P has turned out to be a proven self-censored and that the speed of Development, never fast, slowed down more massively since 1 1/2 years. And the way it does has all the hallmarks of milking in progress. I have been long enough on this site to recognise the signs in advance.
I post in this discussion to warn others to think about it first, before giving money to this project, because it is hignly unlikely they will ever get a finished product.

As for your other point, if you believe my Life is dull, then you are sadly mistaken! While fun, F95 is a sidetheater in my Life. But one I will always being fond of, because I found F95 by chance while recovering from a sneaky illness, which nearly cost me my Life. I already stood at Heaven´s Gate for a time, so believe me, I live, truly live, this second time I have.

I was kind of the opposite, I was leaning towards supporting him but then I read some of his responses to what I thought were reasonable suggestions and reasonable criticism and thought this guy is actually a prick, so I’m not going to contribute. I felt vindicated because of how long a time between 0.9 and 0.115 for 1/3 day.
