Sophia wasn't allowed to bring in any text books to use for the class. The mother was adamant about that and checked to make sure Sophia wasn't sneaking in any books.

National Geo ain't a text book and Gray's Anatomy is a reference for Med school. It is not a text book. In either case it is again a contrived scenario by L&P as even the most ardent home school programs use tons of text books. Hell, she could have brought in a book of Michelangelo's collected works (Mom could not deny the painter of the Sistine or sculptor of David) and gotten perfect imagery to use for the discussion.
This drives home the failure now of a "game with class". If he has to contrive BS situations to achieve his goals he is not classy but, just like all the other games. With the one exception, it is taking freaking forever to 'put out' (pun intended) product. The Classy went away on last update for this very scene in any one of a number of ways. IMO.
I find "A Mother's Love" and "Where the Heart Is?" (Katie cracks me up, some of the best low brow humor out there.) are way ahead on classy and story line. IMO.

Perhaps I should have been more clearer. Sophia wasn't allowed to bring in ANY books, reference materials, CDs, signs, TV shows, video tapes, actors, mimes, sock puppets, or even freaky electric boogaloo dance moves on account of the mother. Right, under such constraints the only option, obviously, was to give hand jobs to children. There would be no sense in recommending some text books for the mother to review and approve, because, you know, hand jobs.

As I said "CONTRIVED". This is the failure that moved him out of classy. Not just the art the entire BS he had of this scenario. Total fail. No more classy. Thrown out with the bath water. After this he is just tossing together renderings.

I honestly do believe there was a way for L&P to get that second side job up to the point where she actually would give hand jobs to the disciples, and maybe even go further. That would of course take a hell of a lot of time and a hell of a lot of scenes told over a hell of a lot of playable days so the relationship and group dynamic could evolve, not just so that the disciples' curiosity could grow over time, but also their boldness and confidence - which would run in parallel with all the other events in her life contributing to her own awakening, curiosity, and comfort.
On the one hand, that we got "there" so quickly could be chalked up to lazy writing and poor story telling. But honestly, even L&P knows his patreon supporters aren't going to tolerate 2nd Side Job events one through six (and that's being generous, more like eight or nine, minimum) to build out a foundation that could plausibly support this type of action. So he knows he can't justify the time investment and he knows he can't focus on what is called, in-game, a side job to the detriment of major characters and major events that progress the major storylines. So he's left with the challenge of how to keep all things at roughly the same stage of progress across all paths. (Roughly, not exactly).
The solution he went with wasn't reflective of his stated intent:
What's especially ironic about it, though, is that his statement of intent begins with a derision of the very crutches he's now leaning on to prop up certain elements of his story that can't stand on their own:

I didn't say hand jobs would have been the next go to solution, just what was stated at the beginning of the storyline.t3alqdansam said that she should have brought in books or reference materials. I wasn't sure if he understood why she couldn't.

I-razytserovin vso have been waiting for version 130 for so long, but because of one problem, the ending turned out to be shitty .. what not to do Dylan can't win in the park.. because of this, Sofia isha does not have a good ending, no one fucked her husband and sex toys .. and it sucks

Aside from Sophia and Ellie in lab coats, and possibly a crucified Aiden, I don’t really want to see any of that. And the lab coats? Only if they also had some sexy librarian glasses. And a top-bun hair style, with the bun held in place by a single pencil instead of hairpins. And Ellie’s pencil would have to be slightly chewed (what good student doesn’t stress about missing a question or two on her exams?). But the eraser would have to be perfectly pristine because while she does stress out during exams she doesnt make mistakes, ever. God she’s perfect. Except for that viagra thing. That wasn’t cool. But the pigmy insult was golden, so it kind of makes up for it. And the part where she makes out with her mom. That was hot.
All this thinking about Ellie has got me wondering: why does L&P spend so much time posing pigeons?
