When I talk about conditional realism in AWAM, I mean that Sofia will not show such a focus:

Of course, we will not see such a trick from Sofia, but she will undress more than once, and not only undress, but also have sex with some girls, women, guys and men, she will probably participate in group sex - that's what I call realism in AWAM!

What did I just watch? I don't know about her stripping abilities but I DEFINITELY want her magic skills!

The real question: Is this the Bar? We do not know it for sure. It is a bar! There are many bars and venues in most beach areas. Most share the parking lots. So, this may not be the bar just L&P messing with us for a laugh.

Now, that being said, Is this a real biker bar? If it is, as has been pointed out, they don't back their bikes in. This is not hinting at a hard core biker establishment. Not the Hell's Angels, Diablos, Bandidos, or Nomads, etc, etc... . So could it be a biker bar for all the rich people who like to get the 40k Harley, a couple of stylish Tats, and then go to a bar with their friends and act like bikers while sipping chardonnay or Glenfiddich. These places do exist and Sam and his band could get in there by contacts or just reasonable skill. Now in this case the event would be as many previously theorized. It is not a fight club on steroids it is just a place for the wanna bees to rub elbows with other wanna bees.

If it is a real biker bar. Sam will know exactly where his guitar is. Walking may be an issue but he will have his guitar. The rest of his band, meh! Patricia will be busy backing her and Sophia out before they become the dessert for the patrons. This would be bad juju. So not likely L&P will take this path.

Ergo, I see two options: One; He is having a good laugh messing with us as this is just another bar in the area. Two; This is not a real biker bar but a bar where middle and upper class people come to share their love of motorcycles and play act a bit.

If I am wrong, and he is trying a real biker bar, he is definitely a few fries short of a happy meal. Just Sayin'!
If this was intended to be a bar for real bikers, I hope L&P thinks again & makes it more as you've outlined. I have my doubts as to whether even the erudite L&P would have thought about the backing in of the parked bikes. Who knows but I know I never thought of it. It would make sense for the place to be full of weekend pleasure bikers, given that Sam's not stupid & must have checked the place out before inviting Sophia.

If you pay attention, you will notice that my first post after the appearance of this render speaks of my excitement, probably for the very reasons that you have described.
But then I calmed down, because I myself have repeatedly called realism in AWAM conditional, after all, this is not a pure novel, but a porn game with a realistic plot. Therefore, we all need to understand that the realism of this plot is quite conditional.
All of us, fans of AWAM, are experiencing to one degree or another because each of us is immersed in the story and is waiting for the continuation. This gives L&P the opportunity to manipulate and twist the intrigue to some extremes, as in this case.
And despite the fact that someone likes it, and someone does not, L&P does everything right, otherwise we would not have discussed with you and were bored perceiving AWAM as many other porn games.
There's no doubting that the realism is conditional but for me it's starting to dissipate & I believe that's because L&P recognises who his majority paying audience are & caters for them accordingly. [It makes good economic sense, I know. It's also becoming detrimental IMO, to the story]. How many adults would vote for a romper suit as suitable attire for a bar? I suggest not many. How many of his pre-teen & teen patrons have had any dealings with actual fully-fledged adult bikers & would a sight of the bar have influenced their vote? I think not. I won't list any more questions because it would be boring & one thing we obviously agree on is that AWAM is not boring. Even this thread isn't boring....I think I hear some disagreement with that.... no, wait, it's just a facepalmer....with nothing to say....now that's boring.

I believe Alley_Cat has already answered your question, I can only confirm that L&P's words referred to MC. The tramp is not an MC, besides, the fight between Dylan and the tramp can hardly be qualified as violence. :)

By the way, I want to note that you have been on the forum for a long time, but you do not communicate often, I am very pleased that you paid attention to my message.
I wish you a pleasant conversation!
Yeah you right i have always been a huge fan of awam in the first place. I really do like to discuss the plot, but it seems the characters i care most dont care, such as the movers and aiden.

Without time jumps, a (roughly) 30-day window to devolve into a woman who has sex with her children is already insane. So there's an implicit understanding that some wild stuff is going to happen and that we just need to roll with it.
I was thinking about this & realised I've lost track of what the actual timespan of the story is meant to be. We're supposed to get 30 days but in San Alejo more time than this is supposed to have gone by. Still, it's bound to be a relatively short time to have sex with several men & women plus the family.

I'm all for some wild stuff, the debate revolves around what, when & who.

If the loader Ivan and his comrades are your favorites, then you should know that they will still appear. Your second favorite, Aiden, is constantly in the game, Sofia performs 12 tasks that he gives her, he has a lot of events with Sofia, in my opinion! Therefore, you have something to discuss here!

For example, the beginning of the next day, Sofia must complete Aiden's 4th task. We have discussed a lot here and have not come to any conclusion that this can be, because the events will take place at school, at a literature lesson.
Do you have any suggestions on this?

I've always defended Aiden & both the blackmail storylines. I've defended them in some depth, if you were to read previous posts. They're not popular here but I was never going to win any popularity contests anyway, so I don't care. I'm only here representing myself & I like blackmail, as long as it's fictional.

Ivan & the movers, (great name for a 60s beat group), I can take or leave.

We don't know because: 1) L&P wont tell us, and 2) it keeps changing anyway. It was a month and a half with the Coach Sophia storyline, but since that's been moved to DLC, it's now back to 37 days.

There's no reason to believe it will stay at 37 days and there wont be time jumps in the future. Depending on what task #12 is, there could easily be another time jump then, for example.

I have been over 50 for a long time and I think that a rocker outfit is not for Sofia!
There is such a saying after all: as they say, they do not argue about tastes!
But to be more realistic in our choice, we had to have a clearer idea of the place to which Sofia is heading. Agree, our idea of a bar is very remote, I think that's why we argued so hotly, but pointlessly. :)

This is indeed an interesting discussion with points well made from all the contributors. To be fair to the romper advocates, they were asked to vote before actually seeing the venue. I wonder how many would change their vote now? It also seemed to me that the vote may have been compelled by the ease of unwrapping the Sophia bar for her performance after the band's performance at the bar.
What is also interesting to me is the mood conveyed by the band members who did see the venue before they arrived. They carry closed body language with chins and mouth corners down. The fellow next to Sam has the feel of a lead singer who looks much like a Morten Harket with 'tude. This quartet either believes that they are tuff guys, or portray themselves this way for the environment they are now in. Either way it conveys a darker feel (as mentioned before) than what has been seen since the subway scene. Even the color choice for the band's vehicles portends a dark scene ahead.
While performing in Bob's Country Bunker the band had better play some CCR! Even if they do it feels like the performance will be abruptly interrupted. Is it possible that Sam will need to make a hasty retreat from the bar with Sophia in tow escaping in his Chevy Nova (that he thinks is a Firebird)? This could be a literary vehicle that L&P plans to use to get Sophia into Sam's vehicle. Does anyone else have any ideas for this possible twist?

We’ll see. :) But I don’t think so.

By the way, it would be fun to see Ivan again

View attachment 1379411

I’m sure he’s doing extra work as a wrestler (or maybe chippendale who knows ?! :ROFLMAO:)

According to the latest poll, he's 16th out of 25. Not bad...
When i see ivan..i feel he is the black version of Johnny Sins....and would gangbang someday sophia along with his mates

If we talk about the striptease talents of the performer, then in my opinion, it looks vulgar. I'm not sure if such a number can be performed gracefully, more attractive and beautiful, but I didn't like it in general. Although I understand perfectly well that there will be an audience that will take this performance with delight.

No, I think you've got it. It's much as I summarised in an earlier post & is, as I suggested, a tired old cliche, except what I didn't convey adequately was how very, VERY bad such places can be & that's before adding two gorgeous rich women, with one in a romper suit. There are many things I wish for this event but two things stand out, apart from Sophia, Patricia, Sam & his band getting away safely, of course. That already sounds like a tall order.

First, I'm hoping that I'm completely wrong in my thinking about how it will turn out & I'm way off the mark. Secondly, I'm hoping that if a hasty exit has to be made, that both women manage to bring away any purses or clutch bags, (as per Sophia's), that they have with them. Otherwise the consequences could be horrendous, even if an escape succeeds.

You make lucid points that I appreciate. If a clutch bag does fall into the hands of a malcontent, well... it would give Dylan (tongue in cheek) an opportunity to demonstrate his manly skills again in the defense of Sophia's honor. More seriously, I'm getting the impression that L&P is turning a corner in his story by introducing darker characters and moods to reflect the darker side of Sophia as she walks with temerity away from the light and into her corruption. If this is indeed what L&P is telling us with this scene, then I like the affect. I hope that he is not just stumbling into this allegory, or uses it in an old and well paved way.

Since L&P is at more than 50% of the update it would mean he has completed around 450 renders, since Nathalie was 260 representing 30%. It has not even been 2 months since he started working on the update.
Now I mention this to bring attention to the fact that the morning update of day 19 had 466 renders in 110 days. I remember he had problems with his hardware then but even in comparison to v0.130 update this is fast.

I effectively say this put light on the fact that he can actually do updates every 2 months for 1/3 day. It just so happens that each day is gigantic. Most games don't even have 450 renders for the whole day. The in-game day progression is really hurt even though he can produce just as much as most Devs in better quality.

Only hope is day 14 and 15. Since there are less events that is the only place I expect him to be able to complete 2 game days in a year.

I agree with the Dr.Fapalot assumption that this gloomy institution, which made all of us tense up, is necessary for the author only so that Sofia will perform some stupid things and she will have added dirty glasses, so necessary for us in the game so that the plot can move further.
Also, if we take into account that Patricia is present in the institution together with Sofia, then the events will probably add points for the relationship between the sisters. After all, their relationship should also develop, they will soon go to the ranch outside the city, we want this trip to be interesting! :)
In addition, we can assume that if Sofia gets a little excited at the concert because of the situation, then after the concert, being alone with Sam, she will allow him a little more than before! ;)

As far as we know, Dylan isn't going to be there.

How do you know there are going to be less events on playable day 14? We don't have an event list yet.
