Can Sam's route really be called romantic.

That called into question anyone's view that it is. Remember, he is a teenager. He is (was) friends with Dylan. Sam voices the hormones that are raging but, apparently just for Sophia. Ellie is an afterthought in discussion with Sophia. Is this "The Notebook"? Nope,


I mean I get why people refer to it as a romantic path, Sam acting like a hopeless romantic etc but behind this facade the reality isn't pure at all. The guy too wants Sophia's body. We do know what he thinks about Sophia from his exchange with Dylan in the initial game days.

You just see Sam from this exchange but only in the negative. He is pleading with Dylan to acknowledge the beauty of Sophia. He does so in a language Dylan understands. Sam does not realize Dylan's point of view. He does not conceive that Dylan not only knows Sophia's beauty but, wants it for himself. Is Sam a teenager? Absolutely! Is he emotionally immature? Duh! AND is this not a porn game where everyone must see Sophia with desire? Sam is the closest to Romantic outside the GW path. It is his position.

Maybe he is more the Lancelot then the Percival. (Definitely not James Garner / Ryan Gosling right!) Lancelot betrayed his King, betrayed the Round Table and, ultimately, betrayed the woman he loved. Is this more the young Sam? He is willing to do anything to quiet his restless heart.

Okay... My question is being read in a wrong manner. The way I say it is in manner to call out to those who might think like me and those who might have interest in that perspective. Not calling out those who actually see romance in that route. What I laid forward is a perspective and my reason for having such a perspective. That's the way I could frame my question in the best possible way to say this as objectively as I could. The word "really" in between might be what gives a wrong impression but I used that because on surface level yes it is a romantic route, hence why I acknowledge it but I wanted to point out to what's beneath the surface.


You can't just sweep everything under the rug by saying he is a teenager and his hormones are not in his control or this is a porn game. The discussion was never about Sam's maturity or that this is romance in a porn game. It was a straight simple "It this romance" which is being pursued with deceit in it the forefront. He might be acting in the best possible way he can but as mature people with the complete view we can say and see that it is not exactly love, it is not about romance. It is an infatuation, the Milf fantasy getting to his head and his hormones triggering more of lust.

Can a teenager differentiate between infatuation and love? I would say 99 % can't. Is L&P capturing this well by intent or just shit happens and he is lucky. Once again I disagree on the deceit concept. You can't stand the discussion with Dylan where Sam merely states the obvious. She is the hottest Milf. Does he love her? In his mind maybe. He is sure hot to trot for her and apparently always has been. Is he able to express this to Dylan. No way! Dylan would go ballistic. He has to express his love of her appearance in a way most teenage boys talk about women, girls. He cannot reveal to Dylan his real feelings.

Maybe Sam is just Bloefeld in his formative years. I don't think so. So we disagree.

Here you can see the whole dimension of the scene. It's really tough working with it. To render it I even had to NVLink my two GPUs, becauce the 24 GB VRAM of a single one were too little for it. I'm glad when it's over and I move to part 2 of the event which will be much easier to work with.

25 percent times 2 is 50 percent . 5 days for 5 percent is 50 days until the sam event is finished. around8 november . so if it goes well for christmas the update . rather at the beginning of january.

We can't really rely on math to fiqure out when the update will be done. I've been building a scene for the past two days and still have not got it how I want it yet. Like me L&P is a perfectionist but unlike me he is very expericanced with creating scenes, The cathy event location might only take half a day to build or it could take a week if he obsesses over it so there is really no point trying to guess when it will be done, well not if you value your sanity.
