Let me disagree with you, this product is clearly not ready and we are not pirating a complete game, but a beta version, which is already 5th year in development, where they simply add 1-2 steps in 6 months, but at the same time patrons provide support as for an AAA game (6 months at 5 euros (tier2) each, because tier1 patrons get nothing). To give an example, what I mean is, it's as if CAPCOM, instead of the promised release, Resident Evil: Village released a demo at full cost and released minor updates every 6 months, asking for this every time as for the full cost of the game and we would pirate it every time so as not to overpay. Right now pre-order God of War or STALKER 2 cost about 30 eur. That is, instead of the promised game, you get a 15 minute update with 900+ renders (80% of the dialoge) and as many as 27 pages of MS Word, no animations, no music, no gallery, no arts, no advanced settings, no free roam, no mini-games, no quests, we get only teasing as always. If we take into account the November update v. 0.150, this is 12 PD out of 30 (40%), but for the last 2 years 2 updates have been released per year, 1/3 of the PD each. At this rate, it will take him about 27 years to develop the remaining 18 days unless he changes his speed.

I don't disagree with your view as a generic concept of products However, this genre of games/novels/whatever uses this methodology of production. It is not comparable to the items you mentioned. No you're not really wrong. The build up you're talking about is of a more erotic nature and since the beginning of the game has been increasing exponentially. If you consider, Sophia started as a rather closed-minded, meek woman with an almost puritanical view of sexuality. She was constantly shocked by people who were more open with their physical nature and always questioned herself when confronted by their actions. She was even afraid of undressing around her own sister. Now she has progressed into being comfortable posing nude in front of strangers, allowing her son to not only be more handsy with her body but open to showing him said body completely naked, and engaged in showing her daughter how to make out and have an orgasm while she feels her up. Despite the rather slow updates the story has progressed nicely in terms of her embracing her sexuality and daring to try forbidden things.

This unfortunately has led to anger among some players as this is not the buildup they wanted nor I would guess fully understand the nature of. They'd rather see Sophia bone people at the drop of a hat for almost no reason at all. This is the complete opposite of eroticism and just porn for the sake of being porn. Sexual actions in erotic novels do not need to involve intercourse or even show nudity. I for one like where the game is heading and how it has developed so far. Would I like the updates to come out faster? Of course. But compared to how he has been doing so far it's a minor quibble that really isn't much of an issue for me.

My suggestions is to play it and make up your own mind on where you stand on it. Whether you support him or not is your choice to make so don't let the jealous haters or the rave reviewers make up your mind for you

you are comparing air (A Wife And Mother) to a game (Being a DIK) because in Dr.pinkcake game has everything that I wrote about earlier. On the pages the link to which you gave you can see how much more it does in comparison with the L&P (4100 renders vs 900, 358 animations vs 0 etc.). I don’t know how long it takes you to complete the update in DIK, but I spend 2-3 hours on it vs 10-15 min AWAM update. Hi! That is both true and untrue! While there are a lot of similarities between German and English, both coming from the West-Germanic branch, they have grown into different directions with the years. (e.g. shakespearean English is a lot closer to modern German than modern English is)

The limitedness of English syntax hit me full force when I started translating my stories into English, even my native English proof reader, who now and then looks over it, says that a lot of meaning gets lost in translation when this meaning is transported by sentence structure, which is a standard in German, but cannot or just rarely copied in English with it´s much stricter rigid structure.

But the problems of transporting the correct meaning between languages is one thing, L&P being this slow in translation in another. He is mega-slow, even a person with just his/her (maybe rusty) Gymnasium English under the belt can translate something halfway decent quicker. He is translating a porn game, not Faust or the Nibelungenlied.

Well, IMHO that are familiarity issues at work. e.g. English or other languages dirty talk is likewise very silly, if you look at it, but we do not register it like that normally since it is another language.

Have you considered initiating a fresh discussion & attempting to conduct the thread in a different direction recently, albeit perhaps temporarily? Complaints on the thread reflect the levels of fandom frustration but they aren't all that's here.
