Brother, If you are still getting Blue Balled playing this game. This game is definitely not for you. I have my issues with the slow and slower updates, but this game isn't about a fuck fest and I don't believe it ever will be.
Excellent observation, and I agree entirely. I've long realised L&P is more wiley ("crafty" in old English) than given credit, one of the reasons he's been so reluctant to delegate.
He also knows the moment his Goddess Sophia Parker creation descends into the world of slut-porn he's lost his fan base, it will be just like other games relying on cheap, quick thrills, worthless sensationalism.
So it's a dichotomy, keep people guessing, thinking the showdown is just around the corner when it isn't, the oldest trick in a writers book. Give them a bit at a time, not too much mind.
Which isn't to say it isn't a great creation, because it most certainly is despite the odd moments I've scratched my head in dismay, pondering "Why did L&P include that, why didn't he develop that scene further?"
His approach is certainly paying off in terms of subscribers as well as contributors to this forum and many others, which I'm sure he keenly monitors. Even if he doesn't admit it.
One new teaser (the last two brilliantly intriguing) then suddenly an outburst of excitement and flurry as speculation runs rife! All good stuff. But time to finally accept this was never porn, more an erotic soap-opera. Better for it, sublimely better for L&P.

I really want you to be right about the fact that from March we will be able to see the acceleration of the development process of the game.
But I very much doubt that in this case we will witness the apologies of some forum participants. :)
If it significantly changes, I would not apologize but, applaud. Taking 4 years to get it right does not earn an apology. Now what defines significant? A minimum of 2PDs a year rate IMO. That is still 8-10 years for completion. That means he can (he supposedly has two helpers if I understood his posts) make a whole PD in 6 months and at ten releases a PD that would mean an release roughly every three weeks. Ain't holding my breath. But, that should be the minimum rate goal in PDs. Number of releases is unimportant.

The teaser is wonderful and Sophia is gorgeous in it!
It seems that Sophia has become, voluntarily or involuntarily, a witness to the ongoing juicy events. She is wondering what to do?
Moreover, the current events or upcoming events clearly do not cause her joy, it is written on her face. But her posture is a bit daring and says she is showing readiness to those who are waiting for her and are probably looking at her right now.
Although the posture demonstrates not only readiness, but also some indecision. If she had just watched and had no need to go there, she would have been peeking around the corner.
Maybe Aiden demonstrates to Sophia that not only Sophia, but also one of the teachers obeys him? Maybe he gathered some kind of audience for the show that Sophia should demonstrate?
Maybe Sophia was walking somewhere and saw something important and unusual, she stopped, leaned her pelvis against the wall, stood still and watched what was happening? Aiden put on some kind of show for her?
Each of us can put forward a number of options for what awaits Sophia! But we have no reliable information, except that we can confidently say that events are coming and Sophia will take part in them!
And probably more important for us is not how tense she is now, but what exactly will happen and how will Sophia feel after that? Will she advance in her corruption or will she feel remorse, or vice versa, will she look forward to the next adventure with excitement?
Brilliantly worded comment!

I already talked about this, L&P is not earning more money because of his slowness, that's not milking. This game is incredible popular, yet the number of patrons isn't that impressive. Many patrons have stopped their support because of that, even big fans in this forum.

To put you an example, DreamNow started his patreon 1 year ago and with his game University of Problems he has achieved 1240 patrons in that time. He reached in one year what L&P reached in 2 years and a half. At this rate, his is going to surpass L&P this year. What's his secret? "Updates are released every month (each update contains ~630 renders, 4 animations, 8-12 events and many other interesting things)." And despite of his renders are not that great as these ones (According to the previews), the people are happy with them, they rate them 5/5. The point is that for L&P to deliver renders 15% better, he takes 3 times more for that.

Being slow isn't what gives you the money, it's being fast who makes it. Actually, we could benefit if L&P starts thinking in making more money (He would need to be faster for that).

Her nipples are still hard. So, to me that picture is either

1- After the task and she is processing what happened. She went to the hall to clear her mind and reflect.
2- Same as above, but she also wondered upon something lewd happening in the hall and is peeping around the corner to watch.
3- Or that is before the task happened and she is mustering the courage to go back into the classroom and preform it.

Her expression is sort of a somber, maybe even sad to me. Just staring into nothing. So that to me means she is either deep in thought, or watching something and can't quite believe her eyes.

I understand you.
In terms of achieving an acceptable update rate, you're right, one and a half to two game days a year, it would be nice, especially against the background of what we have now.

There is no desire to show hasty, premature optimism, but if it really accelerates, then the GingerSweetGirl l is right, he will deserve an apology from some visitors to this forum.

Agree but there's a difference between creating a great game and amassing popularity. So regards L&P it's not just about accumulating more cash, maybe it never was. Moreover, I think he regards his creation very personally and is highly sensitive to criticism. Sometimes too much so.
Compare L&P's story lines against the one you mentioned, and others besides. Well, there isn't any comparison.

Yes, you're right, of course Jennifer, I fixed it.

Although I do not accept your approach to the game, but I understand your preferences. I'm sure and L&P understands that he has an audience with a variety of tastes, which he is trying to satisfy.

I hope and even am sure that interesting content awaits you ahead. Only I can't say how long the wait will be.
To clarify, I do believe there will be erotic content ahead, just that for my tastes, everything I like I can easily and quickly get just by playing the Ellie and Patricia routes. And this will likely be the case for the foreseeable future.

I think some people will be willing to apologize and admit their mistake if/when we see improvement in the development cycle. Right now I think most people are just too jaded to give any leeway until they've seen some physical signs of improvement. As I said, the second update will be very important...so hopefully there isn't a delay in March.
We'll have participants apologizing as we have participants apologizing now for being wrong all the time or L&P apologizing for failing everything that he commits to. Except we don't have anyone like that. L&P doesn't give 2 fucks about it and some people here are just here to shill the game.

This isn't the first time L&P does this btw.
  1. Launches an update.
  2. Announces that the next ones will be done differently to decrease production time.
  3. Also announces that he won't take any vacations so the next dev cycle will be even faster.
  4. After a few weeks announces he founds some issue/holy grail/new feature/new problem.
  5. Take even longer than last time.

Last year he did the same.

I swear the things I read in this thread sound like some people live in the twilight zone.

This development is the epytome of the law of diminishing returns. As for the renders I see some developers now catching up to AWAM (most likely getting better hardware, expertise on software etc) and I don't notice decrease in their development cycles. 630 renders + 4 animations + 8-12 events is equivalent to what L&P brings in 4 months but with less events that move the story forward.

The only good developer I saw drastically slowing down was stoperart and he has clearly stated that it's lack of motivation and finding the right scenes, has nothing to do with technicals.

Before creating a game you must:
- text written before or someone to write before you start creating the scenes
- scripts for character posing, many pose presets
- know, at an advanced level, a 3D modeling program
- know beforehand about lights, about the maps used for texturing

Indeed, you're damn right, some people live here in a fog and do not understand that since the beginning of the creation of the game to this day, L & P is constantly changing something and improving something, at least in his opinion. But before doing this, he talks about it, not thinking that someone will put malicious intent into his words and grab him by the tongue and will not stop making some claims.

Her nipples are always hard. It's a development error. Even if she had hard nipples on purpose they wouldn't be seen under a shirt and a jacket. And since this developer thrives on realistic images....

I prefer the word "teats". Nipples are the things I used to grease when servicing the brakes on my car, not a fond reminder. Oh well.

This could be happening during the break and Sophia is coming back from the faculty lounge when she spots them(Aiden/Jen)
Since Sophia has her jacket back on but she does not have her bag with her

How can you argue about good intent when he slaps a USD/EUR figure to a promise and does not fullfil it for years while getting the EUR/USD amount anyways? When he says at the end of every update that the next will come faster but in the end it comes slower? When he says "End of Month X is realistic" the month before so people read and keep paying and then it always comes out 1 month after he predicted it?

Even this time L&P said "End of January" back in december when the smart patrons were deciding to pay or not pay for the next month.

"The update will already come quicker with the new method". Well 2 months later here we are and it's getting slower.

This was after he announced the special pc/dev/development, in December, where he, once again says he's working "on it as before" and "heading for the end of January". He does this all the time. Lie to get people not to turn off patron memberships and then the development slips away for next month.
"oops"

We're 15 days away, let's see if he pulls through but there is nothing to apologize for. If anything, he's the one that has to apologize to the people who finance him for consistently missing his own goals.
