Let's forget about the " end of january " release he was aiming at. Like some folks here already said, 3rd week of February (or even end of February) is more plausible.

If it wasn't obvious before that the game won't ever be completed, it should be now

Like I said in a previous post, Speed has always been and will always be the Main source of Frustration among fans. No matter how talented/professional/passionate he is, if he can't speed up things or find a solution, Nothing Will Change. And trust me, I like this game. My english is not that good. So, I'll copy/paste a post I read in SG's thread from a user called " notakernelguy" yesterday. IMHO, his words are perfect to describe what's going on in many people's mind, in particular ppl following long projects like AWAM.
« Quality won't matter if the game's not completed. That's what most folks here including me fear will happen. And long development cycles increases the risk of abandoning the project because of personal, professional, legal or any other sudden reasons »

Must be something to do with the bonus event. If it was related to Aiden he would have sought a helper sooner. He was at 65-70% when he started looking for one.What if they now do 600 renderings per 1 event ?
IMO, as a helper you need to do all the work (animation/simulation), under his supervision. The final touch will be his, lights for exemple.
He doesn't need anyone to teach him right now. Maybe later.

I do think a choice will come between Benett/Aidan/Clark and maybe Morello storylines because a vast majority of it comes down as forced, and there should be a way to withdraw from it in the future. I definitely think the first "interracial" sex in this series is going to be with Clark, as I don't really see any other character that fits the bill. However with the pace of development (considering this game is a 4-5 year WIP and there's no real sex yet), I think there's going to be years more of buildup till its completed. Probably a 10-year project to see AWAM completed and we're only barely halfway there.
Now, the question is whether people will bother waiting all that time before the dev decides to stop giving them blueballs.

That's if he doesn't find anything wrong with his helper work. If something is not right in his eyes, you know what's going to happen.
