being a dik is getting released at 4 march and this one does not even has a date yet. how can someone still defend this insane lack of information and communication? first we talked about releasing mid feb, then he brings up exuses and tells us the finished game (4/4 on 100%) gets delayed because of add ones. basically no one knows for sure what add ons he means and how long it really coud take, but the most people were thinking about a release around end of feb/beginn of march.

another week whent past of no informations about the game and now we get this update were he tells us that the "add on" will be animations and he did not even start the first one. so we can think of what? release end of march beginn of april? what is this bullshit.

Just release this Game with first animation. And add other 9 as extra part later.
This animations need sooo much time to develop and end of the day they are not that special.
Let teasing scenes be without animation. And animate Just sex scenes.

Ok the add-on is animations, but it doesn't make sense... as he said after the add-on implemented, the upcoming updates will be faster. But with the animations the upcoming updates will surely be slower no matter what. So ultimately his update cycle remains the same, no matter how little each update has contents.

May be in future he will say I will release one-tenth of a day in update, it will be faster, but then he will implement a new add-on by making videos with real porn stars. its a never ending cycle.

It's never smart to postpone the update because of the animations quality. If they are ok enough but not perfect, just rework them later, now people are expecting a huge deal out of them cause L&P oversold them. Deliver more, gather more support, this is business 101.... omg this is frustrating.

if the helper helped him in making scenes and rendering then it would be twice as faster.... but she will do totally different thing... and the animations will be taking so much time.... its not like she will do everything by herself and then handover... l&p will supervise and remake everything he doesn't like... so more and more time wasted

What L&P should understand is that pplz are NOT necessarily against animations, BUT, the fact of creating animations just adds time to the release cycle. That's what most pplz, ME INCLUDED, are asking for = FASTER RELEASES.

No matter how good the animations are/will be, if those extends the development cycle further, it's not going to make us lose sight of the gigantic 16 or 17 playable days left. In the end, pledgers or not, pplz are ONLY complaining about anything that extends the releases.

If he intends to keep on creating animations for each release, may be he should buy another PC or find a good compromise to speed up things.

If you read it carefully, you will realize that no animation is ready yet. Today or tomorrow he will just start making them. Although he could do 5 animations, as he already did with running. In this case, he is talking about 10 animations with 24 fps.

For me, animations don't matter much. But it would be wrong to say that they don't give an impact.

Of course they add something it's why i believe it's a good idea to add them so long as it doesn't impact development time all that much. It's why i'll reserve my full judgment for it until after there have been several animations added through at least another 2 or 3 updates and see if development time has sped up any or if it's still at the snail pace it currently is. The former being a good thing while the latter being bad. I'm hoping development time speeds up though. If not, i may very well ignore this game by next year. To see it going on this long and development time gets slower isn't a good thing.

But the voice makes a difference, atleast for me. It pleases to hear a chick enjoying her time.

It's a game/vn not a porno. If i want to hear sounds, i'll go watch a porno. It's just something that's a waste of time and resources that drags out development that much more. Seems to be what L&P wants to do though.

If he hadn't spent time looking for people to animate and didn't do animation at all, he would have finished a month ago. That's the message in this.
