I spend a modest amount every month supporting a handful of devs, once I was about to support L&P but he lacked what I, and many other people, need to spend our money, even more than quality: Consistency. A consistent DEV or Team can slowly raise their quality without failing the update deadlines, hire good and reliable people, but a lazy and greedy planner only cares about support. You have to worry about patron retention, you can fool new people into it, but the older patrons will bail on you, justifiably. Glad I don't spend a cent with L&P

Releasing a 1000page story in 2 parts rather than 200 does not change the story.

I'm writing here after a while. I believe there's no point wasting so much energy on something that makes no sense. L&P has a vision for his game, and he'll want things to be that way regardless of what people say here. The game is his baby (if he's truly passionate about it), and he'll pursue it the way he wants unless there's a mass outcry among his patreons.
I personally was highly disappointed by the way L&P went about the development (and still goes), but since I didn't pay, I had no right to whine here. What I did was explore other options.
There are over 10,000 games on this forum, and some of them are simply incredible. And they're all available for free. So, it was helpful for me to just stop engaging with this game completely and try other games. When this game pops up in the Latest Updates list, I'll download, play, and delete, and move to another game. Unless you're a die-hard fan of this game (which I don't believe most people are), it's best to ignore this game and come to it only when there's a new update.
Btw, I just tried What a Legend. I was always skeptical of 2D games and that too sandbox and sci-fi. But the game was simply incredible!

As for those individuals whom attack him for his pace, asserting that he is milking patrons and that those who support him are fools, I submit this to you. Say you successfully dry up his income stream what then. What will occur to the game "POOF" no more game. Then you will then complain that he quit. I'm not taking sides but reason out the end game here. Figure out what you want, if it is for the end of this game state it then leave as you have no interest in the game. For those who want it quicker I just don't see that occurring no matter what is said or done. It's not difficult for me. I will answer your question. I get moral satisfaction. I help the developer to be positive - he will continue to create his product. I will use this product and get moral satisfaction. All for fun (pleasure) .

A lot has changed since the beginning actually and he wasn't always this slow at all.
For example version 0.03 he was at ~9.73 renders per day and the last update (version 0.150) was at ~5.54 renders per day.
And version 0.03 (release date 30 April 2018) was before he got a new much faster PC and while he still was in college AND had a side job not to mention he had a lot less DAZ experience compared to now.
All the things he said he would do to speed up development (quitting his side job and quote: "I cancel all my college courses and devote all my time to my passion of (adult) game development!") instead slowed down the development instead of speeding it up.

Oh and "What will occur to the game "POOF" no more game." will happen anyway unless he gets help.
Unless of course you believe he is going to keep working on the game for 20+ years.

Well we have to admit lp quality is above average, that can't be denied. I play many games and the details quality of renders here is the best we can get. That said I do think the animations will also follow that direction and be better than most games. Don't insult the game out of frustration because you want to play it

L&P started this game when he was in college.

He can have a random hookup tonight, birth a baby in 9months, and THAT child will have graduated College before this game's estimated completed date.

In fact, L&P will be drawing Social Security before this game is scheduled to be finished.

...and that's if he keeps up his pace from LAST YEAR.

A Robin Hood! In principle, a laudable thought to want to protect other people from the big mistakes of life. And this certainly has its justification even on a porn game site. This is not meant mockingly!
It's just that there are participants here who do not share their beliefs and can understand the arguments of the developer. I am also blessed with patience, because my pleasure center has not yet taken complete control of my thoughts and actions. Incidentally, I consider this to be the main driving force behind the constant complaints about the pace of development, accusations of lying and milking. This is one of the reasons, besides quite objective reasons for me, to support the developer. Besides, if I am completely honest with myself, it gives me a little fun to troll the critics who lose all measure in their argumentation.

If you ever read, I am not in favour of animations. I just don't understand calling him names and whining like idiots even when you know you can't do a thing about this.
These people are more worried about what happens to this game than L&P himself. They literally complain as if someone stole their life supporting drugs.

And to every single one of your side, What will you achieve by all this complaining. What can you change. I want fast updates, I want entire playable days in 2 months. Will all this, exposing his lies, calling him milker, calling him a fraudster etc actually get quicker updates. I will side with your crew if that can happen.

But if you can't then what do you hope to achieve. Tell me. If he is slow, if he purposely draws it out, how are you going to change. Or all the entire bunch of y'all can do is whine like a child. And demonize him all the way. Say that everything he says is lie.

When he explains something or communicates his side, he is attacked. Clear evidence is posted on this thread. Does it look like a place anyone would want to explain his side to. These same people complain he doesn't talk and then these same people attack when he does. These same people complain that this game doesn't even have animations and same people complain when he does include them.

The people here will always find a reason to attack him and hence it is better he stops even considering anyone's opinion on This thread whatsoever. Since those whose opinion are worth listening to don't speak up and those who speak only trash never say anything actually productive for the game. There's no point communicating here.

Adding animations and giving less and less content is mastermind. He said update will become more frequent releasing update every two months, and now it will be again 6 months for release but now we will get less content. Safe to say this game will never be finished, and thats saaaad. He made game very big with millions of routes and thats bad, because he dont have equipment to make that many routes and storylines with high renders and now animations. And he adds more and more characters, which is getting nowhere. I like the game and creator but if he thinks that in 20 years ,which is realisitic time for this game to come close to end, people will still be playing this is crazy.

A few personal opinions on voice actresses being added. Over the years I've mostly watched erotic videos with the sound off, for discretionary purposes. But lately, whenever I can, I'll turn up the sound, and I've realized that sound can add a whole other dimension to the scene - IF the actress is good at it, or at least makes the kinds of noises that I like to hear, and matches the visuals. Some porn stars are horrible at it, and really irritating, in which case I just turn the volume off again. But sometimes the right panting and whimpering, leading to high flutters, unladylike groans, bodies slapping together, and other sex sounds, can be sexy all on its own.

So, leaving any cost or production time issues to the developer - why not try it? If it doesn't sound right, I'll just turn the volume back down.
