There are no Dylan fans!
Sam is good-looking, intelligent and helpful and is a musical talent. As a budding rock musician, the world is open to him. And did I mention he's good looking?
Dylan, on the other hand, is pretty lazy at school, mediocre looking, can play football quite well, like many boys in his age group, is quite good with a computer, again like many boys in his age group, and has a repulsive virgin sex drive.
While Sam takes the women (Sophia) by storm, Dylan stumbles from one disaster to the next, his jokes are awkward, his behaviour often embarrassing and we have already had to watch him, in the person of Sophia, wank twice.
He really deserves the label Frodo, dwarf and pervert.
I can't be a Dylan fan, because then I would have to be a fan of a pimply youth I once knew many years ago.
Well said bro,(y) I totally agree with you. You explained Dylan's place in the story and Sam is a very special person in the story, And to Sophia. which now Dylan fans can easily understand.

On the boarding school route Dylan was the instigator of Aiden's tasks, because he felt Sophia needed a push to feel attractive again, and that she was going through a bit of a mid-life crisis. But it was only meant to be 2 tasks, not 12. I liked it because it showed Dylan making a mistake but having the balls to admit it, which seems to me the first bit of character development for him.

But a couple of days after the release of that update, before the majority of patrons even got a chance to react, L&P announced the scene would be removed.
No, He set her up with a criminal/gang leader because he thought she was having a mid-life crisis. Dylan knew who Aiden was from the start in that scene and his background. That wasn't a mistake. It was a betrayal for setting up his mother, and it didn't make any sense from what we knew in the story. How does Dylan realize she was in a mid-life crisis, or better yet, How does he even know what one is at his age? He set up his mother with a criminal to force her to be sexy again??? that was terrible writing.

How about a senario where, after a run, a playful Sofia (already in a towel from showering) catches Dylan at the kitchen table and sprays him with cold water from the sink. She then tries to bolt to safety, but he catches her and pushes her onto the sofa holding her hands above her head. During the scuffle, Dylans cock slips out the leg of his shorts and both of their sexes are involved in a short sliding penetration accidentally. Once they become aware of what has happened they withdraw, but it leaves a lasting impact on both parties who express their thoughts in self speak and private time fantasy.

dude, What are you talking about, Keep it in your mind, that Frodo Dylan isn't L&Ps favorite. i think, it's my boy Sam. my lover boy Sam gets a love and romantic story with Sophia. Not with ugly Dylan. Dylan is like a lust, secondary and normal character in the story. Dylan is still breathing a little bit into the story because of his small popularity. Not all of his routes are very interesting, and also, all of Dylan's events are boring events. Perhaps, Dylan fans will realize in the next two PDS or PD 16 that they are supporting the wrong character. After that, Dylan's popularity slowly declines.
Dylan doesn't have "small" popularity. In the last two polls he topped the list, about twice as many votes as Sam

Not going to argue again about whether or not the Twist should have been removed. That's beside the point.

My point bringing it up is only that L&P appears to care enough about what Dylan fans think to change things in the game. My hope is that once it becomes undeniable that we'll never get to the point where Dylan gets any decent action, there will be such an uproar that L&P will be forced to actually make some improvements and progress

He only changed one thing, which was the Twist, and as far as he said, nothing else will change with Dylan. The problem he has is the build-up with some of his characters. Some build-up is moving too slow, and others are moving at an accelerated rate which makes no sense on some paths. For example, it makes little sense to start her off with nun-like qualities. I'm sure Dylan will get somewhere but probably not with Sophia yet, because of his reasoning, which you already know.

Dylan will probably see action with Amber, Christine, Marie, or Emma before Sophia.

But not anytime before PD21 by the looks of things, which might be as much as 15 years away. With Dylan apparently being counted as being one of the "important" characters, any action he got before PD21 would be included as a 3rd hetero scene sometime before the 4th lesbian scene.

Which ultimately would be moot if the update progress was at a reasonable rate.

keep spreading fake news, which in fact dylan is the favorite character in this story. Dylan is the main male character in this story or is called HERO.

Damn only Dylan?? Wondering what the actual interest in the Sophia/Dylan route is, everyone else is so much more interesting
The real interest, brother, is that the Sophia-Dylan route is highly transgressive, being incest. People playing porn games need to unleash their fantasy and the urge to transgress. In your opinion, what kind of transgression is there in 2022 to cheat on your husband with any guy next door?

Anyone can put themselves in Sam's place because a next door mother is not a far fetched idea but hitting on your mother definitely is and for some that taboo is too much to engage in. Sam automatically becomes their best alternative.

Honestly Sam's scenes have been very cringe. Especially the one from Day 18. That is where I started disliking his character all together. He has most cringe lines ever. Even Sophia had to roll her eyes in last scene just because he thought he was so slick but i just couldn't help but laugh at it. Since Sophia acknowledges this it shows that L&P is intentionally writing him like that. A teenager who is hitting on a hot milf and thinks he is so smooth but is really not.

His entire route is built on the fantasy that most teenage guys have which is they will seduce the hot milf next door with their "smooth and clever lines and actions" and she fall in love them, abandon everything for them and live out her life as his wife.

And based on how the Sam fans have been reacting in this thread fighting over a fictional character as if talking of god or as his cult followers. I don't thing I'm far off from the fact that majority ( definitely not all, some are mature here ) of the Sam fans are teenagers living out their fantasy through Sam

game is mid. A game that started in 2017 has barely any action in it. That's abysmal. Dev needs to look at the other female protagonist games. If any of you boys are looking for a game with fap material, stay away from this one. Dev needs to step it up. Time to make sophia a slutty bitch. It's wayyyy over due. I'm surprised so many people stuck around for this one. The story is nothing special. Plus no action!

Was it an idea posted on Patreon or the real scene implemented in-game?
Thanks for clarification.

Dylan as the perpetrator of the blackmail was one of L&P's strangest ideas. And this from a developer who, by his own admission, was striving for realism in his story. Having Dylan perform this act on the idiotic grounds of wanting to help his mother in a midlife crisis. What young person of Dylan's age is interested in the problems of his mother, who is about 40 years old.
That Dylan chose Aiden of all people as a tool for his idea can still be explained. After all, Dylan had just come to this school and it is realistic to assume that he thought Aiden was a school bully but not a sociopathic criminal.
As has been correctly pointed out here, L&P let Dylan have the one to admit his mistakes. But he didn't want to use this insight to make Dylan more mature throughout the game but only on the Amber/Dylan side route.
On the main route so the statement of L&P this betrayal of Dylan to his mother should not play a role any more.
And that's exactly what many of the players had a big problem with. How was this supposed to work? Not only would Dylan have carried this mark of Cain throughout the rest of the game and never been able to free himself from the mark of a loser. It was also completely implausible that Sophia would never know the whole story. L&P has put a lot of effort into the sadistic character trait of Aiden in the last two updates. This can be used to justify the assumption that Aiden would have told Sophia at least at the end of the 12 tasks who she had to thank for all these humiliations. How did L&P plan for Sophia to react to this - with a shrug of the shoulders?
Perhaps the developer had planned to use this betrayal of Sophia as the final building block for the estrangement from her family. Liam who only works, for whom Sophia has to prostitute herself to pay off his debts, Dylan who betrays Sophia to a sadistic criminal and a daughter who only cares about herself (variable "Elli_Bitch").
But on all other routes with Dylan, whether sexual interactions with him take place or not, the truth had hit like a bomb. And L&P, I don't think, had a good explanation of how he could have then explained away Sophia's anger, shame and fear. Simply saying that Sophia is now so slutty that she doesn't care anymore probably seemed too shallow and cheap to L&P, not to mention believable.
That's why he had to drop this twist.
It is a pity that we can never discuss this event with L&P. For one thing, he would have to admit a mistake, and it seems that admitting a mistake is not his strong point. On the other hand, L&P may not want to discuss this deleted turn because he would have to reveal too many details of future story.
