I think changing hair color and hairstyle will be done for two reasons:
1. hair color, L&P will only use one colour.
2. the hair to be smooth on the side of the scalp. I would say that L&P in this case can use many other hair-assets depending on the needs, without the difference between the assets used being visible.

I'm never satisfied with a poll because there's always hopeless things that you're forced to do laterWhy AWAM? ...
For me, it was one of the first great AVN's that I tried and there was a lot of content (He was my third Patreon to support after Dual Family and Milfy City - both of which no longer have regular updates - this was back in 2019 I believe).
There were both hetero and lesbian paths, I liked the character models, and I liked the complex story.
Early on, I also thought that Liam was cheating on Sophia (remember the early scene in the clothing store with his Boss's youngest daughter) and that Sophia would find out and decide on how to redress that imbalance (Liam not making time for sex with her and appearing to spend that time pursuing a younger woman) - which made for a more interesting story in my mind.
Yes - in time, I realized that L&P decided not to pursue that story arc.
I support now at a low level out of Hope...
I enjoy the characters, the story, and I want to see what happens.
There is no more immersion - there can't be with an event update every 2/3 months and a PD taking 1.5 or more years to complete.
There are, generally, high quality individual scenes but for true immersion (multiple PD's of content) - literally leave now and check back in around 2028/2029.
I don't trust some of what he says - like the animations not slowing development of the events they are part of... then the event is delayed due to one or both of 2 animations not being completed in the two + months of time he took to develop v 0.175.
I get, and remain, frustrated by the lack of action L&P is making to build a team/increase productivity/give new team members responsibility to maintain DOL so he can spend more time on AWAM/give us a realistic path to PD 30 before sometime after the year 2040.
Finally - part of staying for AWAM is this community on F95.
There are a number of people who invest significant time providing detailed, thoughtful analysis of this story and I enjoy their insights.
AWAM is one of the AVNs that benefits from F95 because this group of supporters/interested parties 'keeps the light on' in between event releases.
I continue to support AWAM at a low level because I continue to enjoy it, and I - foolishly I admit - hope that L&P will eventually build a team and find a way to increase productivity.
If I am in an Alzheimer's ward in 2050, I damn well expect the nurse to be able to give a 'Yes' when I ask her, out of the blue - "Did Dylan Finally get to nail Sophia Hard?"
If she actually knows what I'm talking about though, she will add - "but the event was delayed because the animations weren't complete."

I disagree - hair color can fundamentally change her appearance and perception of her! I don't want to see Sophia dumb bibmo with white hair and pouty(silicone) lips!Why not ?
The change of personality of Sophia can go through a external change of mood, vocabulary (bold/defiant), hairstyle (especially the color or length*), clothes (sexier), makeup, dominated/dominant behavior, ...
* A hair shortening is symbolically stronger than a simple coloring.
However, this change of hairstyle is only motivated by boredom in the developer, and for technical reasons for animation.
Unlike the last 'style' poll, where you had to choose the clothes (two opposite style : rocky or classical) for Sam's concert, it was just for an event, now it's gonna be several (playable) days I think, and it was obvious from the beginning, that we were going to have no 'radicalism' in the proposals, because Sophia can always continue the good wife path.
If only B solutions are chosen, people are likely to turn to the most consensual solutions (B2 / B3). B2 changes almost nothing.
B3 would be my choice, to show a little change in Sophia's personality.
B2 will be good too... especially if Sophia's tan is slightly strengthened.
