Its kind of like in the last update where you have the choice of letting Sam take off your panties or Sophia doing it herself, I wonder if down the line the latter choice blocks off events escalating.

Only time I recall having a problem with a choice that doesn't give a "Filthy" point label was the thing with Sophia playing the game with Sam and Dylan with one choice not letting you know that her shirt bursts open adding filthy points, this would lead for me to not have enough points down the road for another event.

But anyways yeah there's a big difference between hiding Sam in the jacuzzi and hiding Sam behind the jacuzzi or whatever it was.

Wait, you've had issues not being able to maintain Filthy > GW playing the Dylan route? I mainly choose the GW options, and I only have trouble in the beginning. Once you get to the shower with Patricia at the gym, it's been smooth sailing for me.

It was only that one scene with the gaming choice that caused an issue.


After that anytime I'm given a choice and it doesn't mention filthy, good wife, relationship points I do a quicksave and venture to see which actually does something. Which is why I never had issue with the phone in bathroom along with locking the bathroom door.

Honest question, and not judging at at all because what anyone decides to devote their time and money on is their business. But what makes you guys loyal to this game?

I mean he updates once maybe twice a year and the updates take 5 minutes to finish and most of the renders are non sexual in nature. The characters aren't terribly interesting, I mean its a porn game so I wouldn't expect too much anyway. But my point is that it is a porn game, and the sexual content that most are playing for is years down the line.

Now I know some say, ''Its a slow burn, that's the point, its how the dev is telling his/her story'', but I can't say for sure that this dev isn't just putting in minimal work for a obvious big bang of a buck that this game is making. I mean its the second most popular game on this site.

So if a supporter can give me a honest assessment of why they continue to play this game and follow it I would appreciate it.

As I have already mentioned in another reply, it's a taste. Whoever likes L&P's storyline and slow development can enjoy this game. I personally like his slow development, seduction, plots... I'm going for the boys and Shota path. And to get Zach continuation and have still have Dylan's yoga path you need to go shopping with Alyssa. But skip lunch. And yoga showers was a needed Patricia and lesbian path. So I might be sacrificing Alyssa here. Conflicted... :/

I can see you joined the thread in the same year as me, so you may remember when AWAM wasn't "just a porn game," even if that's basically what it is now, (albeit one that's due to end some time in the 2050s, if ever), because of the directions it's taken, owing to the Dev's decisions. I don't agree that the characters aren't interesting. If they were just dull cyphers for porn-game style sex, that's what would certainly make them uninteresting but you can judge for yourself by the comments, arguments & debates that this is not so for many followers.

As for the sex, which most fans know is long years away & may never happen, I would contend that sex is only one of the reasons that people still play this in such numbers. AWAM does contain plentiful sexual situations, of varying degrees of realism. There are 100s of games catering for anyone wanting the wham bam approach to sex. [Whilst it's not a case of 'play one & you've played them all,' they can get boring quite quickly. It often looks like a case of over-supply].

I've never paid anything towards this story & nor will I, based on the pace of development, which to put it very diplomatically is less than optimal. What keeps me coming back is twofold curiousity, 1. to see how long AWAM lasts & 2. to see what happens next.

Not that I'm particularly a supporter, especially not with some of the recent decisions, but what got me hooked initially was the fun characters. When I first started playing adult VNs, there was very little in terms of games with decent graphics that were female protag. Still aren't, but better than before.

I initially started playing male protag games, being male myself, but none of the male characters really seemed to be anything more than one-dimensional characters.

So this was a breathe of fresh air. Strong-willed, intelligent, female character able to choose what she wants. Still can be, depending on the choices. Plus Ellie is just starting to get some added depth to - I continue to be rather impressed by how she's not just your hot highschool cheerleader. And Patricia is hilarious. There's far more to these women than just a mother, her daughter and her slutty sister.

If that was what defined a porn game, then most series coming from major TV & film producers, for the everyday commercial market, would be considered porn. (Some puritanical fanatics do consider it all to be porn in a different guise). You'll note I used the past tense in my original post. That's because AWAM did degenerate over time into what it became, i.e. another porn game.

Based on the latest release 175

It seems like the dev follows the pattern used in FB.

(Theory for MC Sophia only)

part 1 - Sophia trying to stay Good wife and situation force to make some unwanted decision towards filthy (which is upto play day 12)

part 2 - because of the achieved filthiness level, Sophia willingly show her goods to other than her husband which will lead filthiness to level which she cannot return to normal that is Slut or whore (starts to give more priority to her pleasure than her family), (which will be upto play day 20 or upcoming day)

Part 3 - Once she reached the Slut level then she will start to have sex with anyone with or without willingness. (she will start thinking All that matters is pleasure).
