I think people (me included) will not like ~3 hours of playtime from start to current finish for 0.2 just to see one boob... hell most completed games on here don't even have 3 hours of playtime.

If the dev goes all out with sex content with the next update and all that follow i have no problem with the 0.1 just being a very good intro to introduce all the characters in a way that you start caring about them.

In the end all i can say is: If i want to play a game for a good story then i will for sure not play any game that is available here (no offense). But if i want to play a game to calm my urges i really appreciate if it caters to my upper brain aswell as to my lower and engages me in a story i can enjoy and care about... because if it's so stupid that only the pics are left then i can just go and watch some porn or picture galleries and don't need a game.

I do not really agree with the sentiment the dev needs to go 'all out' with the sex content in the next update or that adult games should not be played for the story. Adult games are the perfect medium to create good entertaining stories where sexuality and women are not dumbed down but celebrated for all their complexities and nuances and the story is not just a medium to get the characters to have sex with each other. There should be room for games that are more character-driven where the story does not need the sex to be entertaining.

For me sexuality is a complicated and beautiful beast that is interwoven in our personalities and our stories in all kind of different ways and it really is a shame when it is reduced it to something unintelligent and simplistic like 'just people having sex with each other'. I know how it can be if you are horny and just want to rub one out to some brainless porn and there is nothing wrong with that but it would be very sad if there would be nobody who would write entertaining adult stories where there is room for nuance and conflict and build-up and such because in the end those are really the ones that are the most enjoyable and satisfactory ones to me. Sexuality is not only manifested when having sex but it's beauty can be seen also in many simple daily interactions and it is really the most exiting if it's shown in all it's colours. A game does not need sex to be sexy just as a woman does not need to be naked to be.

I think "all out" for the sex was the wrong term and not what i meant. What i meant was the dev should not make the mistake of either not putting any or putting not enough nudity in the next update where i am additionally still hoping for some sex aswell with that kind of playtime per update. But i guess you can scratch my statement about it because...

I guess the dev will take it all really slow with his focus on pretty renders and story and i guess i will still not play the 0.2 version if there is still nothing juicy in it because what i talked about was a good story with good characters that leads to a good buildup of sexual content and in the end good sex scenes .. and dev is still missing some of what i expect from games that i can get here.

StalkerRoguen's game uses similar approach and he has pretty much no financial support. His game is a very well made RPG, full of lore and well made characters, and his battle system is the best I've seen in an Adult RPG Maker game. But people want porn.
Like I said, I agree that slow buildup is rewarding, but projects like this one need financial support every month. And it's one thing to say you like the idea, another thing is to pay 10+ bucks a month for it.
This game has the advantage of having the incest content people go ape shit over, so we'll see how it plays out.

A game like Dating my Daughter will always make more money than a game like A Wife And Mother just like a record with genetic superficial pop-songs will always sell better than an interesting well-crafted jazz album. It's a sad fact most people have shit for taste. Still I refuse to believe a developer who is clearly as talented as L&P won't make a sizable amount of money (above $6K) within a year. I mean dual family also has a slow burn and is clearly inferior on many levels and the creator of that game makes over 7K. But yeah we will have to see how it will play out, it's too early to tell.

DF is 2 MC and both males. monologue-boooooring-blueball crap tho.
THE also have female MC,good story progression and unlike many games there is no main plot,the whole game consist of dozen mini plots that sometimes cross aka explore and experience the town which immensely enjoy,but it make only 1.3K
not gonna compare to GGGB,cuz it have montly update and use 2d art instead of renders,so it's actually in different league altogether.

Actually it's very sad that there are so many people who put cheap, quick porn and tasteless nudity above quality and beauty! They even ignore bad and unrealistic posing, shaping and a low level of detail and setting, only to see some quick, cheap "action" without any background and barely or extremely unrealistic context! Sex is the highlight of erotically interaction! There will be so many hot scenes and situations (already in 0.02!) which are maybe even hotter than simple sex (and there will also be enough sex scenes later!)! Yeah, overall, vers. 0.02 will have almost 1600 renders. BUT: it's only playable Day 3 of 30! It's like you wanted an orgasm even before or while the foreplay! Even if it's a very long foreplay but it's still a foreplay! This game will have so many extremely hot scenes in the future! But a slow and realistic progress increases the suspense and makes the scenes later even hotter! Many complained that the married couple had no sex in only 2 days. All together they had no sex for almost 2 weeks (what can happen while a long marriage!). The main reason in this case: 1) They were very busy with the move and planning. 2) The husband's new job. He is like in a probation period. He just have started and his new boss wants to prepare him to lead the company in the future and replace him! That's what makes the husband a little exhausted at the first time. But there will be also a little good wife path with a nice bounty for the wife's loyalty! If I would show sex and a bunch of nudity right on day 3, this would ruin the whole story and suspense! I can understand that some people are impatient but I can promise: good things come to those who can wait! I've started probably the by far largest and most qualitative and realistic project of this kind. The slow progression with gradually more intense scenes is the core of it! The next update will have some little surprises and the quality will remain the same if not even be a little higher! Again: This is not a cheap "run-of-the-mine" porn game! I'm trying to create an aesthetic erotic game which takes also its time to show the usual beauty of life!

I simply look forward to playing each update as they come as only your vision for the game will dictate it's success or failure! As long as you don't include a trillion different branches with that playtime, a slow buildup is, AS I SAID IN MY EARLIER POSTS WITH CLUMSY AND CONFUSING WORDS, just what i want. Realism, teases, good story, good characters (Stuff for the upper brain) and in the end.. when you go "all out" with sexual stuff, good scenes (for the lower brain). I'm just a little worried that you go overboard with your complexity and buildup so people will just skip to fuck and miss alot of your work. He is doing a fantastic job and I would highly encourage him to stick to his own update plans instead of polling it. The demo was probably the best I have ever played and I wouldn't even be mad if there is a limited amount of actual sex scenes so long as he keeps building on the story. This is also probably the first game I ever supported before the first update.

we're still waiting on a V0.02 but in my own opinion; i personally don't mind that much if the game dev takes like 2mths between releases BUT the down side is that there isn't as much content releases and this may impact the amt of Patreons for the game dev considering the game is this early in development (still only the "demo" was released), its sort of a double edge sword here :frown:.. but there is other game devs that ONLY do releases when they're ready, the biggest one i can think of is Dark Cookie (Summer Time Saga) he only releases when the update is ready not by monthly release and he got a team working with him (i know it take much more work to develop summer time saga over a CG game like this)ancakeMix:... my point is it will take time and maybe a few more updates for Lust& Passion to get as big as a fan base as Dark Cookie and they will be ok with waiting for content (within reasonable time)....

i want to see this game get more popular because even tho its just a demo for now its like 6mths worth of updates from your other "only in it for the money" adult game devs on Patreon...

PS: if Lust& Passion is reading this i know you're in collage and don't really have much time to delicate to this game so when you do get more Patreons maybe you should consider hiring people to help you (people from countries where jobs like this wouldn't cost much) or even fans with a pc that is capable that are willing to help out until you can pay them...::|:

I have a bad feeling about this game. High chances that could be abandoned in long term with very few updates.

High level of detail and over the top attention to the story, dialogues and renders could finish to exhaustion or boredom from the developer. Updates are gonna be limited in a long time so this could annoy patreons. This game could not be finished in years at this level.

I was waiting for next update if this game deserved a contribution, but I am afraid no. It is one of that things you wish high success but 3 months -and counting- for an update seems unreasonable. I suppose some times in life you must find a balance between what you can make and you should make.

This release contains quite a lot of content for such a low version number (first?). Maybe that's the author's MO and the main reason for longer than usual development period? I am personally not very happy with micro updates being released by other creators. But let's wait and see how it'll play out for this one.

I don´t like micro updates too. But as I told in my last sentence: Balance is everything.

Another big problem with this game could be the replayability value: imagine you want to take a different route between options. That could be a lot of hours between dialogues you´ve seen and read before just for a little change when chance is given. Only solution to this could be make a ton of savegames...a mess.

I am not trying to discourage or criticize the developer. In fact, I enjoyed first versión a lot -I suppose as almost everyone here-, but as time goes by I am taking into account how many problems development of this size could have for a lonely person orvery small team.
