Now just a minute there...Tolkien tells a story that's both entertaining and actually goes somewhere. No chance, it's his daily job, so unless he wants to find a regular 9 to 5 job , which is highly unlikely, he will continue with the story. The only thing that might lead to abandoning the game is if the support drops drastically. In which case he will most likely change his name and start a new game. LP created too many scenarios that he can't conclude in the timeline he originally set up(nobody asked him to do a game within a 30 day period btw, he created this problem himself).
I would urge to drop this concept of "playable day" we don't need to follow every single moment of Sofia in the morning, mid-day, afternoon, evening and night time... resume the days, skip to the next.
And don't set a "hard" ending date, it happens when it happens.
Also there's so many scenarios that would be best to progress the main ones and leave the others for later, AWAM 2- Sofia goes wild(lol).

Sure you can...
I'd say just stop counting days, maybe remove the splash screens saying(day xx) from previous releases.
The days we would be getting in the future would move faster than the tightly packed ones(morning, midday...) we have up to now, but i don't think this would be too jarring of a transition.

AWAM currently has 22 tags & is still missing the "male protagonist" tag, which is now several years overdue. Incest is ONE of those tags. Although incest & a large teenage cast were always there & I've seen or played all the scenes you pictorially refer to, there was a time, IMO, when this story resembled a work of fiction being written by an adult. That's when it was "erotica," rather than "average teen porn." There was no reason to suppose that any of the incest storylines, or the game itself, would evolve into something clearly aimed at a youthful audience. It used to appeal to all ages, or at least that's how it seemed to me. Far from being deterred & having been a teenager myself for 8 years, including several as a virgin schoolboy, I played the Sam route & enjoyed it, for a time. Anyway, I made the effort to search in the gallery of the beginning of AWAM all scenes having either teen and/or incest content (including one scene with patrica as Sphias sister). Then when you consider that even after years of developing AWAM, Sophia has only had sex with Liam (her husband) so far, it becomes clear how ridiculous your claim is. There are about 2/3 of the scenes with content from this subject area. None of them really goes far (all somehow at most erotic) but almost all with involvement of Sophias kids. This game has not changed, the only thing that is different is that we are slowly entering the midgame. Therefore, Erotic is no longer enough, and slowly the action has to start. But AWAM is still a slow burn game, if you compare it with the average of the games here. So far, almost nothing has happened.

What you're saying is that this IS & always was a story about incest, with everything else being disposable, as the story enters the mid-game phase. It could be likened to a space-craft shedding various stages as it finally travels with only the essentials required to complete the mission. Along with everything not pertaining in some way to the 'core' of incest, erotica has had to go, so has the veneer of realism. 'Boosters' were activated, in the form of Sophia's miraculously expanded breasts, referred to from then on in the story as "the twins," (for mature fans?), which still, not surprisingly perhaps, elicit calls for further expansion. It would of course be ridiculous to compare AWAM to a space probe in that way, given the development speed but you get the idea.
At the outset there was an element of choice integral to the game. It was only much later that it became apparent that whatever choices a player made were not particularly significant in terms of what themes they elected to pursue. I foolishly assumed, back in 2018, that it would be possible to minimise the incest content. It turned out that I had to do this myself by "ducking & diving, bobbing & weaving" but I was able to achieve a satisfactory outcome, because I'm easily pleased & I played back then, for entertainment & escapism, as I would suggest most people of any age do.
What you also imply is that I should sod off & play something else, because this is an incest game for incest fans. Anyone not into this better get in step, or leave. Yes, I could choose to play DoL but everyone knows that is just a bland place-holder for Patreon purposes, not designed to be played as a porn game, let alone as an entertaining erotic story. I have pointed out several times that I no longer play AWAM itself, because there is no game left to play from my POV.
As for my "pretentious" assumption that I believe that much of AWAM is written for kids under 18, you're spot on. If that makes me pretentious then I will gladly add the term to my CV. How many adult males do you know who would refer to a woman's breasts as, "milk dispensers?" I won't labour the point by listing all the other puerile descriptions utilised by a Dev out of ideas. That's just one example where erotica disappears & average teen porn reigns. Observing the game's direction more closely, I contend that there is no way that I could possibly suggest, or "indirectly claim" that the Ellie story is not written for adults. That's because, as with so much else, Ellie's saga has been put on indefinite pause & despite her popularity, we currently have no story to make any assumptions about & havn't had for quite some time.
I had thought that, given the promising start to AWAM, incest would be handled in a style distinctive to the game's early days. Instead, we have Dylan taking a bath with his mother, while his father & a guest, (FFS), are in the house. They didn't even wait until they had the place to themselves. Liam, of course, interrupts them in L&P's trademark style but given that he's now a father figure in a teen porn story, he once again failed to suspect anything. Sex at any opportunity, guest or no guest, Dad walking in, no problem, etc. That's what teenagers do, I believe it, because that's what I did but not a mature, supposedly educated, woman of 38, with her husband & his boss downstairs. Sophia regresses age-wise to around 16-17, whenever she's in the presence of her teenage LIs. There is no credible attempt to examine her conflicted emotions, despite all her thought bubbles & "re-sets." It comes down to the 3D porn stand-by of, "how can this be so wrong, when it feels so right?" It simplifies the writing but confirms AWAM as average teen porn. It turned out that AWAM was really just about incest all along, with Sam simply a counter-weight to Dylan. Expecting Sophia to have any meaningful sexual interactions with non-related adults, i.e. characters confirmed as over 18, as the "cheating" & "corruption" tags might have suggested, proved to be an expectation too far.
