Just a few more random thoughts after watching the new release again.

I like it that Sophia has most of her jewelry on in the hot tub while being nearly-nude for her son. I prefer that a classy wife wear her wedding ring while having illicit sex, although I understand the purpose for removing it here. But I think it adds just a bit more sexiness to the image to see Sophia wearing the fancy hoop earrings, gold necklace (Dylan adds the “pearl necklace” later), and all that gold jangling hardware on her wrist that is working on Dylan’s love muscle, while she is otherwise only in skimpy thongs.

It just seems to me that Dylan looks just a bit younger, or at least not older, than recent times, which for me adds to the eroticism of the taboo images. Not much younger. I have a theory on why Dylan’s boxers come off and then on again. Maybe someone mentioned this, and I missed it. I believe that the dev wanted Dylan naked for the splashing/wrestling sequence, which harks back to their tickling scene in an early event. So why does Dylan put his boxers back on? My theory is that the dev needed his dick to angle upward to get the very important effect of spraying his “love juice” up onto Sophia’s torso. I'd have had Sam see them for no reason beyond creating a competition between them, even if mostly or totally unspoken...because it already has happened in other moments. It wouldn't be out of character at all for Sam to be snooping in their back yard, especially if he noticed them leave or come home.
Which is a big thing that's lacking in the story, IMO. It rarely gives you moments or scenes that aren't totally insulated to the main people involved. A thing happens until it doesn't anymore and all involved move on as if it never happened at all once done. Again, partly why the day system is ridiculous. It makes each event seem like a lifeless, assembly line action most of the time.
Sam seeing them and both becoming jealous and more determined to push his agenda seems like a normal thing to happen here.
In fact, Sam is pretty much the only character that Sophia could see catching them and not freak out. Sam - probably more than anyone - knows what and who she is. Yes, there is a big jump from fucking the neighbor boy and your own son but Sam and Dylan have already shared enough erotic moments with her to not make that a shock to any of the three.
I'd have the next Sam event show that Sam was in his treehouse and Sophia sees him. When her tits are being sucked, she looks to the left and sees Sam...and Sam sees that she sees him. They then talk about it in their next event or just in quick eye contact the next day.

That's not the concept of this game, and some could even argue it was actually somewhat rushed. Keep in mind where Sophia started on the scale of depravity and where she is right now vs. it's only playable day 13! It is meant to "realistically" slow burn into her corruption and, in my opinion, it mainly works.
What doesn't work and keeps sliding is the delivery of updates in real life time.
In other words: if we were at the same pace of development as 6 years ago, you would not be disappointed with the increase of Sophia's kink per unit of time.
Yeah, I was waiting for that. Really stunned and a final stamp on the overall "meh-ness" of the event for me. That could have gave it a small boost in my mind but it didn't happen. Missed chance, IMO.

That's an important point in this overall discussion of plot and pacing. If you replay it all it becomes clear how the success of the VN made the dev slam on the brakes. It really has a pretty decent climb at the beginning and then it just stops to where we are now isn't that far ahead than it was 5 years ago.
That's the issue. A slow burn isn't bad but no story and no VN dev is so good that it requires the time this dev demands they get. Nobody needs 20 years to tell a dumb porn story and at the pace it began at it would be wrapping up around now.

The only problem with that is it then requires players on the Sam route to be playing the Dylan route as well, which is not always the case. The amount of Sam players that call Dylan a "looser" in this thread should attest to that.
Same as why I don't believe the bonus storyline will have any effect on the Ellie route. So far, whether or not you're playing the Dylan route has only had a superficial effect on her route - a few lines of dialogue about how much she's enjoying the quiet is about the biggest difference I've seen.
Linking routes can be done - the Bikini Fashion show and the Yoga event are examples off the top of my head, but only if the link is entirely optional. But that also requires more renders and will slow down progress. Possibly more hassle than it's worth, especially if L&P has something different in mind later on.

Solid points and I also don't think it'll happen as much as I'm saying I'd probably add that if I were writing the story. It just kinda makes sense to me given their behavior so far.

Probably more of an opportunity for fan art. I'm slowly but surely identifying all the assets used in-game. Just got my hands on the outfit Ellie wore on Day 2 about an hour ago.
Awesome! I've noticed you mentioning the asset collection in the FA thread. I really need to find some time to really dig in to DAZ beyond the little I have.
If/when you get it all I'd definitely be down to make some stories within this universe, be it my own or helping others.

All is probably impossible. Particularly when it comes to the boys. From about Day 4 onwards L&P appears to use custom textures for much of their clothing, which makes asset identification quite difficult.
But enough to do our own versions of things is definitely doable. Now that we have (I think) a pretty good idea on Aiden, Dre, Zac and Emma, the other students could probably be replaced. It would mean redoing all of the school scenes, but depending on the story it could be worth it.
