I mean it's L&P's story to tell. You can dislike the direction, as many do, but it won't change what he's doing. We've seen enough evidence of that.

The point is to tell the story of this game, which is clearly not just about Sophia, but about Sophia in her role as "A wife and mother". Therefore, it can be important to show decisive developments outside of sophia's direct involvement, if these could ultimately have a effect back on her. For example, if something happens between Dylan and Ellie, then that is something that can affect Sophia, because she is the mother of this two, I hope you understand that connection.
Anyway, I recently re-watched the movie "The Godfather" again. Probably one of the best movies of all time. And shall I tell you what I have noticed? No one would be so simple-minded as to conclude from the title alone that all scenes contain in this movie must have a direct participation of Michael Corleone. That would only have unnecessarily restricted the film.
BTW, L&P has already described in its game description that there can be events written from a different perspective other than Sophia in this game. Considering how popular the story about Dylan and Ellie is, I see no reason to cut back here. Rather, L&P should consider expanding these types of events.

The problem with that is that isn't why LP does these events. These are for whatever people like to play Dylan as MC. You can have events that affect Sophia that we, the players, do not need to see or play through. Such as Liam's work stuff.
And Dylan can only go to the party if he didn't take Sophia on a date. So, these are mutually exclusive routes (Sophia/Dylan route and this one). They don't build on each other. So Sophia isn't going to be seriously impacted by anything that happens. It's not even close to being compared to a linear movie.
I don't think anyone can agree with "Rather, L&P should consider expanding these types of events." If anything, he should be cutting them. I know 90% of us have accepted this game will never be finished, but if LP actually does want to he needs to make sacrifices somewhere.
Spending months of what is effectively a side-route (that not many will play or care about) isn't that.
There is no problem with this event. Dylan and Ellie are probably the most important characters besides Sophia in this game. The story between the two of them and Sophia unfolds from the introduction to the present. Both in direct interaction with Sophia and in interaction between the two.
Also, I don't see it as tragic that Dylan has to choose between the second Sophia event and Ellie. The first Sophia event has already taken place and Dylan has already made progress with Sophia in the first update, which could ultimately have an effect on possible Sophia/Dylan/Ellie events. I at least would like it if L&P would include more events like that. That is what AWAM is about from my point of view.
Under no circumstances should this event be cut out. The events with Dylan and Ellie are just too good for that. There are good reasons why the two are so popular, and good reasons why this story-line has so much potential.
Why the v0.190 is crashing on joiplay? Other versions works fine but why the new version crashes on joiplay(you can't even get to the title screen just crash after load) someone please help. If you got solution please help.Also if there's an Android port of the new version please link it.

Your optimism in all honor, I would be really pleasantly surprised if the new Elli/Christine/Dylan event eventually connects back to the main Sophia path, but I don't believe it will.
While we did play a part of the Sophia/Dylan path for that day when we had Dylan go to the party, since all the other events, no matter which characters, ended up with certain yes/no decisions rather than sympathy points determining further progress on the individual path, I think that ends the Dylan/Sophia path.
When I read a book, I always find it confusing and disturbing at the beginning when the author suddenly changes the narrative perspective. Usually, however, the more the story progresses and the better I get to know the characters, the more I find the change of perspective refreshing. Especially since I know that the author will eventually bring the individual narrative strands together and they are important to the overall picture.
But the fact is here:
1. this new path seems to be a new side path that leads away from the main route and will no longer have any connection to the main narrative thread. And thus it is meaningless to the "big picture".
2. if you don't like the narrative from Dylan's point of view because you don't like the character, you'll never convince anyone it makes sense to keep telling the story this way.
But I have no influence on the way L&P tells its stories and for me personally that's okay. Of course I'm more interested in what happens next with Dylan/Sophia, Elli/Sophia, Patricia/Sophia or, for example, with the museum boys, but I think I'll also be entertained by this upcoming event because I'm neither super critical of a porn story nor specific fetishes have. I want to be entertained and that's always been the case at L&P (for me).
Make sure that you have the latest update installed for joiplay. I was having the same issue before doing this.

I'm no lp lover but he's not as bad as stopper is at least lp does some type of update. If you like it or not is opinion. Lp is B tier Milker. Stopper is A borderline S tier.

Every update should revolve around Sophia.
