I can see how a new entrant to this particular forum would come to that conclusion. But when you consider the following it kind of makes sense:
- Suffice it to say, it's a long time between updates and the updates don't cover a long time (just 1/3 day currently)
- There aren't any gameplay elements (until the hobos in the park) that lead to "mini-game" or "puzzle" problems that spark the "that was innovative" or "how do you get past this obstacle" discussions.
- There isn't enough hard content to keep the "dude who's she gonna fuck next" crowd engaged.
- Really invested in the game/story
- Appreciative of its breathtaking visual quality
- Patient (or at least not really impatient) and willing to wait for hard content because if that's all they were looking for they know they can find literally trillions of terabytes of free porn elsewhere,
- Actually reading the dialogue and looking at the images (and this thread)
- Making a genuine attempt to reprocess their own thoughts and feelings about this game in the context of everything they've seen and read up to this point.

This is not accurate. Strictly speaking. If you go down the good girl path there is plenty of sex with the husband. However, the bad wife and lesbian paths are a bubbling cauldron of disappointment filled with unconsummated incest and a paucity of adultery. Mostly just slap and tickle. All foreplay, no biscuit. It is like some sadistic experiment done on lab lats to discover if they will commit suicide if they are sexually overstimulated without release.

I know, it's a little bit pretentious to think that we can influence the game, especially since he's not posting here anymore . But, who knows, maybe he's still reading every now and then to have a laugh to our theories (or getting angry at the critiques). For sure it's a pity that there is no constructive exchange.
There are only a few things that interest me about the Sam event. Sure we will see a divine looking Sophia. We'll see bare breasts and fumble a little and maybe a romantic kiss (gag). But what really interests me about the evening: is there a call from Liam who ends the event with Sam? If there is a call you can decide to stay as a player and decide that Sophia will lie to her husband a second time that day? And if you don't do it and accept Cathy's invitation, you won't have enough points in the future to continue following the Sam route?

I have also posited there may be the option to opt out of the Andy/Cathy event. I'm not optimistic but I am hopeful, that we will be allowed to choose to stay.

For Sophia's outfit, there is something very illogical from the point of view of the script.
Because if she doesn't wear a bra (which would make sense with this kind of outfit) it would go against everything she explained before:

True, I brought that point up quite a while back. This dress is literally saying "give me attention" and doesn't suit the place and occasion Sophia is attending. I seriously don't understand what was in L&P's head when he decided to keep this as an option.
And as KillJoys mentioned this game isn't going in a very nice direction. The reason why I liked the game is only because of two things, the visuals and the writing.
With time the visuals got better but the writing is slipping. I am okay with every scene every fetish as long as he can make it believable , as long as it is well written. The last update kinda dulled the writing. The sudden jump in corruption didn't help either. The whole update though decent left a bad aftertaste. It felt so different from the rest of the game.
I kinda feel that writing more daring scenes or more explicit scenes aren't his comfort zone. So the writing falters and will continue to weaken as the days go forward.
I also want to say that writing an entire game this long full of erotic and porno scenes while adhering to logic, believability , realism is impossible, I don't believe any writer can. With time it is bound to fall
You don't have to attend the Cathy event to keep this path open. The appointment for a swinger event or the order for the organization of a bachelor party can also take place without the presence of Sophia.
