Again, the impression is that Sam doesn't really care about Sophia's feelings and conflicts at all
I've said it before and I'll say it again, s@m doesn't love Sophia, he's just an horny teenager/POS looking to fuck her because he finds her attractive, the way he talks to Dylan about Sophia in his room when Sophia is listening in, pissed me off so much that if I was Dylan I would have punched him in the face, I avoid everything with him because his path makes no sense whatsoever, we're only 13 days into the playable days and look how far he's been able to go with her, and why? Why would Sophia even have any feelings for him? He did absolutely nothing for her, ok so he mowed the lawn, great! He helped her with the groceries, fantastic! None of these things should have her fall for him, it makes zero sense, 13 days in... you could even say he's a stranger to her, and out of nowhere she trusts him and lets him draw her completely naked and agrees to become his secret girlfriend? Jesus christ, young me wishes things were that easy, but they're not, s@ms storyline feels extremely forced and I just can't get into it, and I'm sure many other players feel the exact same way I do about it.

Interesting...

I still have a save with a open path to the subway thugs but since that was supposedly scrapped by the dev, I don't even remember where it is. Hell, that route was from even before the pandemic!

On the other side, doesn't make much sense to bring back the subway thugs after all this time and don't even mention the Morello's and Bennet's path, because their routes are still active.

It's a porn game, so it's legitimate for me to overdraw the characters and the paths in it. Sam is a romantic route, with the thrill of the great age difference and the wife's betrayal of the husband.
I myself have already expressed my incomprehension about Sam's successes with Sophia, which are mainly based on the fact that Sam was written as a kind of superman, against whom I would simply be pale and without a chance if he existed in real life.
I'm willing to accept this on a romantic route though, because other game developers do it the same way very often.
But L&P builds these little and big slips into Sam's character and his journey with Sophia. Only these remain without consequences. I like to follow the clues in a game to justify my decisions regarding the game's MC. But on the Sam route, I feel like all of Sam's little meanties exist only in my head and L&P didn't mean it that way
I think this is the same for other players on other routes, but this is my Waterloo.

Poll Update (Daily).

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
For statistical purposes, here are the updated table and graph that tracks the previous polls too.

1676924069624.png

**At the moment**:
  • Ava and the apostles are raising among the preferences along with Julia and Marie (not so coincidentally they had multiple or very recent events since 2020)
  • Amber is regaining popularity along with Mr Murray (!!) and, obviously, Sam, even though he is not yet at the same level as 2020
  • Dylan is still leading but Ellie has basically closed the gap at the second place. They both lost quite a lot of votes wrt 2020, especially Dylan.
  • Patricia ( ), Alyssa ( ), Vicky, Emma and the Subway Thugs have consistently lost support as well. Cathy was a new entry in 2021 and lost as well a bit.
  • Aiden is still 4th with minimum loss.
  • Zac is substantially stable and so are Logan, Christine, Claire, Nathalie (even if she gained a bit) and Liam.
  • The old gents after their moment of glory in the v0.130 are back to 2020 levels.
  • Janitor Clark and the movers seems to be settled on 2021 values, so has Carl.
Let's see if there are surprises coming, especially in Ellie and Dylan's race for the first position. Too close to call, as John King would say! ;)

Porn game or not, he's trying to tell a realitic story, that's his main goal and he made sure that everyone knows that, nothing about S@M's path feels realitic, everything about it feels forced and it makes no sense for Sophia to take the risks of getting caught and ruin her marriage and the relationship she has with Dylan, if Dylan were ever to find out...... yeah I wouldn't want to be S@m.

I swear if this affects what he/she does with upcoming events and Pat, Alyssa, and Vicky are affected badly by this...

Curious that the biggest loss seems to be Dylan. On Dylan Day.

Some have taken L&P's talk about a realistic game far too literally. There is no such thing as a realistic porn, especially not when, besides the husband, both son and daughter show a sexual interest in Sophia. Or in other words, it's about time that some action happens apart from Liam. The best thing would be for Sam and Dylan to join forces to get their mothers laid. :ROFLMAO:

The best thing would be to delete S@m from the game and move on with the story, or have S@m show interest in Amber instead of Sophia, that I could get into, his relationship with Sophia just feels wayyy too forced and I don't like it.

I see so many Dylan fans getting annoyed by Sam.
In my personal experience, a woman of Sophia's age is quite vulnerable and if right things are said at the right time many doors can be opened with her. Sam basically did that, of course he gets free while talking to his friend and when Sophia isn't around as all boys would do but in front of her he has learned to stay in control and slowly get a grip on Sophia and to be Frank out of all the guys present in the game Sam has the most visible chance of getting anywhere with Sophia besides Liam. Dylan is still her son and I don't think she'll be that free with Dylan as she was with Sam in the last update (unless this next update changes this dynamic between Sophia and Dylan).
In terms of realism, she would definitely fuck the neighbours kid before she fucks her own kid, to be put blatantly.

But we already got confirmation from L&P that Dylan will fuck her before the neighbor kid, and he will be one of the last... that makes sense eh? Looking at how far he's gone with Sophia and the relationship they have, you would think he'd be one of the first, but no, he will be one of the last.

Sam is one of the most inconsistent characters in this game for me right now.
When Sophia first becomes aware that Sam is interested in her, she overhears a conversation that Dylan and Sam are having. Sam uses the sometimes vulgar and degrading language of teenagers to express how hot and sexy he finds Sophia. Later, we will only see a selectively polite and flattering Sam.

Sophia asks for water and Sam brings her alcohol. Sophia's reaction to this is moderate. Although she knows that Sam's goal is to make her compliant, the whole thing remains almost without reflection (perhaps because Elli tries the same trick?).

In the event at Jacusszi, of all places, the end of this scene continues the route in which Sam shits on the consequences of a discovery by Liam for Sophia. He simply doesn't care about the consequences at all, because for him they would be minimal.

When Sophia and Sam are almost caught in Sam's room by Sam's father Neil, Sophia says:
*I just have this remorse about cheating on my husband."
"I love him very much, but he just barely finds time for me lately."
To which Sam replies:
"Yeah, I understand. You just need time, I think."
Again, the impression is that Sam doesn't really care about Sophia's feelings and conflicts at all, just like the Jacuzzi event. And again, no reflection on Sophia's part. On the contrary, only if one continues, and agrees that Sophia lets herself be drawn "completely" naked, the route continues.

When Julia almost enters the room, Sam says the following:
"How was I supposed to know that my sister was probably on her period right now?! She's never just stormed into my room like that before!"
Sam makes a direct connection between a woman's menstrual period and her mental abilities. As a woman, friend of Julia and as a teacher, Sophia should have objected here. But also this sentence does not lead to any reaction, neither in the game nor in a reflection by Sophia. In contrast, it is necessary to kiss Sam goodbye in order to continue the route.

What bothers me about this is:
a) I am interpreting something here that doesn't exist and Sam is just a teenager who makes mistakes and Sophia, although with more life experience is just in love. And L&P wants to show that?

b) Are these hidden hints to make the player aware that Sam has an ugly side and one should be careful with his decisions? Then why don't they have any consequences in the game.

c) Do these sayings simply express L&P's own attitude towards women? (I know this question is insulting, sorry!)

d) Why do I actually collect sympathy points for the individual characters, if the decisions to continue a route are only yes-no decisions.
C
