Ok slow dev week on progress. Someone said probably working on a new setting. (Or on vaca)
So what will be the new setting that is taking a week to set up? Not the bedroom, shower, jacuzzi, nite club. Those are done.

Given the sudden slowdown in development, he *might* be at the point where the animation was planned, as he mentioned that the scene was technically difficult. So it could still be difficult even for "normal" rendering.
If we assume that the animation was related to the topical moment of the event, there are two possibilities: either they are still in the nightclub, or they have moved elsewhere.
If they are still in the nightclub, the "difficulties" could indeed be related to the many characters in the scene, the lights and so on. This also presupposes that something is happening in "public", either on the dance floor (some groping?) or in a more covered place (back on the 2nd floor or something like that). If it was the bathroom, for example, then the difficulties might be related to other things, posing or moving the characters in a confined space.

Either way, she could be the one to interrupt, whether on her way home or just wandering around the house. At this point it remains to be seen whether there will be some sort of rehash of the Sam's hot tub incident, with one of the two lovebirds trying to hide from her while the other tries to buy some time and distract her, or whether they will have to hastily compose themselves and get dressed.
- And what about... Sam? He could, for example, come home in his car, hear some noises in the neighbour's garden and try to call either Dylan or Sophia. Having him watch the whole scene from his tree house would add too much drama and complexity to the story. The scenario can be similar to Ellie's, either one of them talks to him while the other takes cover, or they both manage to compose themselves before it's too late. I guess I am just too cynical. I think the "slow down" is to push the release date past the Patreon auto re-bill on August 1st.
Regarding the animation I don't think L&P will do the initially intended animation as he decided to announce that he won't do it when the progress is already around 20-30% I think, which will make it delay a lot considering that he said it is too complicated. A fun idea on how they can be interrupted by ellie but this time Dylan will be above and Sophia goes underwater from her previous experience and Dylan will probably send ellie away saying he was naked but again it will be something like a reuse of Sam event which I hope L&p doesn't do otherwise the whole evening will be just a rehashed events which it almost is considering the bath tub and club.
This is just my guess even if progress starts now with his regular pace it will be finished by 2nd or 3rd week August, if this delay is due to animation it may finish even later.
He dropped the animation, I was just speculating whether he might be "stuck" with the scene creation and rendering at the same point of the event where the animation was supposed to take place. There might be still technical difficulties even for just creating static rendering because e.g. the scene is complex, the posing complicated etc. Just speculation.
Yes I was also thinking something like Sam with reversed roles. I don't know Sophia apnea skills, but it could also happen outside the hot-tub: imagine they were coming out of the hot-tub both completely naked, Ellie starts calling for Dylan, so they both take cover behind the hot-tub wall and Sophia has to duck close to Dylan while he talks with Ellie and try to get her away from there (as you said telling he is naked etc). A situation that could have some potential...

Photoshop+Programming/Translation shouldn't take more than 2 weeks tops, especially considering that this update is smaller than the previous one. If we were to assume that his progress bars make 5% jumps a day (alternating), Created Scenes+Rendered scenes should theoretically be done within 8 days. If that's the case (and that's a big if), a release could be expected around 29th of July. That said, even 8 days is a massive joke since he should never take an extra day just to render a couple images, but that's L&P in a nutshell for you...the bars are, atleast in my opinion, meaningless and don't represent the actual progress made.
Since most people probably expect a release in July at this point, L&P will likely end up with more subscribers towards the end of this month. And knowing L&P, it is a fair assumption that he might postpone it to the beginning of August to maximize profits as many people who subscribe this month for the update would otherwise drop out in August. That could easily end up being a "little bonus" worth 4 figures. A pretty questionable bonus at that.

Let’s say that the progress bar starts moving on Monday. It is still 40% to be completed for the major bars. Thus we need 8 days (i.e. 5% x 8) to close the major bars. If he works on a six days week then 18/7 both primary bars will be completed. It needs 2 weeks to complete the secondary bars (i.e. 1/8) and 3 to 4 days max for his final check. So Saturday 5/8 should be the release date… (I think…)

I am pretty sure that this event will be nowhere near sam's one. Because a lot of things just don't add up, the build up, the setup, dylan's weird behaviour, no animations...etc. But i am totally fine with that since im not really a fan of the werido. Where did I voice an expectation that all tags for a game would mean the same amount of content for each? I didn't. I pointed out, rather, that the incest tag was one of many & that the eventual takeover of this kink, while possible, or even probable, was by no means inevitable, or discernible from the information given in L&P's mission statement/promo blurb. If any game including a MILF character with children, or with "Mother" in the title has to follow some unwritten rule to include incest, then it is just as credible to see the word "Wife" as an indicator of non-incestuous extra-marital activity, preferably from my POV with adults involved.Just because a game has a certain tag does not mean that all tags must have the same amount of content in a game. This is not the case with AWAM or any other game here.
What a game is actually about can be seen from the description, the title and the game itself. What I was attempting to point out was where AWAM's focus has always been. When you see a title like "A wife and mother" that start with about 2/3 incest/teen content, you should have some idea of what you're getting into. That should have been clear to you from the first hour.
No, what I'm saying is that incest/teen content has always been the essential part of the game. This content is not just a recent addition. Another strong point is clearly lesbian content (again also with strong incest part due to Ellie and Patrica). I guess, what gives you the impression of a change is only that the time has now come when something really happens and not everything is just teasing. AWAM is slowly moving into the midgame, and that of course means that something will happen in the incest part (at the latest in the end game).
It is a renpy game. The possibilities for choice have always been severely limited in this type of game due to the technology. If a develper gives the player the opportunity to dodge essential content, this will always result in a path with less to almost no content. That's just as smart as buying an ice cream cone, throwing the ice cream away and eating only the cone.
The trick is to make it look as if there are decisions, but in the end to go down very few paths that are still closely bundled together. It's just silly to want to remove incest from an incest themed game.
As I said, you decided to throw away about 2/3 of the game. I'm just telling you that it's not smart to play only 1/3 or less of a game.
Contrary to what L&P claims, AWAM has never been particularly realistic. The very first decision you make is if Sophia let Dylan sit on her lap. The second is whether or not Sophia is holding Dylan's hip. This is the slow burn start for an incest story. It's really hard for me not to completely ridicule what you're saying here, because the game you're describing has never existed.
The fact that this game is written for adults is evident from the pronographic content alone. But you should not assume 100% seriousness as a prerequisite for an target age group, that is just stupid.
Immediately after the scene in the car follows the move-in, where Sophia has nothing better to do than to take a shower and run into the movers half-naked. Two times. If you didn't notice there, that AWAM is not to be taken 100% seriously, i can not help you. This game was never real life realistic. The only thing that changes is the intensity of the actions, as is normal and should be expected for a game based on corruption. Where there used to be a risk of someone seeing a nude breast, soon it will be about whether someone catches Sophia having sex.

That really shouldn't surprise you now and was the goal from the beginning. My goodness, you're twisting the game here into something it never was, and then complaining that it's not any more what it never was.
If we're going down the route of suggesting that I was incapable within the first hour of playing to realise what I was getting into & we are dissecting the game title, I refer you to the AWAM by-line of "How far would you go....?" AWAM not being my first corruption game, (by some margin), this phrasing suggested a facility, on the player's part, to take events &/or kinks to a distance of their choosing. This had been the case in some other examples of the genre I'd encountered. Indeed, it proved to be the case. Certainly for the blackmail it was. So, I've taken incest as far as I want to go & now paused it. Given that I've stopped playing, with nothing further to play in prospect, is not quite what I had in mind but it has certainly worked. If AWAM had been as incest-focussed as you maintain, I wouldn't have played it from 2018 to 2022.
What I was after, (& for a time found), was a game with a quality of renders & writing above the level of trash porn. That's not pretention talking, just a result of the fact that I've already seen & read enough trash, which has a place & serves a purpose but wasn't meant to be what AWAM was about, if you read L&P's mission statement. I've also seen & read some good erotic stories & look forward to someone's efforts in outdoing AWAM. 3D is a perfect medium to tell a story, whether erotica or trash porn.
I maintain that the game possessed a veneer of realism & I've always been at pains to use the term, "veneer," because nobody with experience of playing 3D porn games expects to encounter true-life realism. That veneer could have been augmented in simple ways, e.g. Sophia being seen in the same outfit more than once, which would not have wasted time. L&P chose not to do this but instead to create so many routes & branches, that the veneer started to wear away. As a case in point, the current PD13 can be cited, i.e. after the day she's had Sophia is now in 'groovy chick' mode at a nightclub. How does she fit it all in? Where does she get the energy? ....& the day is far from over. No-one needs to view the characters changing appearances in order to know that any realism present has been gone for some time. Yet, it must be remembered that realism was a key original selling point & was promoted by L&P. I certainly "bought into" it, because back in 2018 I had no reason to doubt the Dev's word.
Regarding wanting to "remove incest from an incest-themed game," I've never suggested this in 5+ years of AWAM following. I don't put my own tastes above those of other fans in that way, although I've been on the receiving end of it numerous times. What I would have liked would have been a better balance of the various kinks crammed into the game. This might have been possible with a few less routes & branches, along with an end to duplication but that's another ship that never left dry-dock.
When it comes to the target audience, surely the best indicator of the group to appeal to, that must make the most business sense, is to be found in the promotion of Dylan to "joint MC." I freely admit that I never saw that coming. What juvenile terms will be used to describe Sophia's vagina, I wonder? Will they match the breast-focussed scene at the salon? That's assuming Dylan passes Sam in their virgin schoolboy race. "Love box," "honey hole," "garden of delights," are just 3 for L&P to ponder. There are many more with far greater obscene connotations. How far will he get? Well, at least we know he's already had a good time with the "fun-bags."
