"Let the people get what they want" is a lame reasoning, and just because someone is raised to moan till everything goes his way doesn't really make it a legitimate concern.
What if I stomp my feet in the ground till the creator makes the mother a hairy midget because "that's what I want"? I mean, based on your reasoning, the creator should cave in, right? I can't be wrong with my opinion, I've been told my opinion is the ultimate truth.

If what people want is banging someone in the first 5 games, I have a feeling they can find a ton of such games around here, and with an over-the-top story to boot if that's their thing also. Trying to bend any game to someone's standards is moot and quite frankly reeks of ass-hatery.
You do not like the pacing/models/platform of a game? You are free to move on, there are ~2,000 other threads in the Games section, no-ones forcing people to play every damn game and then complain because it's not exactly what they want.
And there's a very big difference between valid, thought-out and well-communicated critique (like some posts here regarding the guitar lessosn), and "I don't get to fuck everyone instantly, screw you dev" posts. People just need to stop trying to tailor games to their own wishes.
You totally misunderstood my point. I told you what we liked in this game and you answered me "go watch this". Then you answered the other guy telling THIS game is a porn game and shouldn't lose time telling a story. You have to admit that when you add the two, this doesn't give a very tolerant image, which I told in my answer. Then you finished your comment showing all your disdain. Personally I like the game, it seems to be taking a slightly different approach to the genre and I find that interesting, and that's my asshole on the subject.

My goodness you two must be underage because both of you aren't understanding shit about what we are trying to say nobody wants to change nothing the scenes are gonna be the same the only thing we would like is to make the non important scenes with less renders so it gets faster to the action. I haven't kept up with where the debate is, but I'm going to be totally honest about what I do with any game that really starts to drag on in dialogue: Skip nearly everything until I get to a choice. And you know what? I got about 95% of all the context I needed to get for Sophia's relations with almost every single character. The few times I feel I need more context, I can back up pretty quickly and get what I missed. Most character development, both for her and for everyone else, happens through those choices, anyway.
Now, whether that means that the dev can continue his more methodical style, because it means I can ignore most of what can be considered fluff, or that he shouldn't bother... because I can ignore most of what can be considered fluff, I don't know.

That's a pretty bad take, to be honest.
First of all, doing research does not equate good content. Listing up parts of the guitar and explaining basic chords will never be good content unless it's a guitar lesson or kept very short.
Secondly, pretty sure he didn't do research, but instead is a guy who actually is a musician and recorded those parts himself, which I mean, is dedication, but also quite wanky.

I agree something needed to be before that "flirting scene", but as someone pointed out above, for a good a game as this is, that first part of the guitar lesson would have been bad in any kind of story, aside from an actual guitar lesson. It's just a very basic, boring listing of guitar stuff. And unless you wanna start playing the guitar and have no clue about it, it's not really useful for anything. Now say, he didn a thing where the two talked more about shared favorites or translating her favs from guitar to the piano, maybe bonding over music they both like, that would've been better, but aside from a fairly short setup, a guitar lesson tends to either become very nerdy or very basic as a plot device.
