Also, please note, that superflous amount of renders and unskippable sounds bugged me more about the guitar scene than the amount of text. More text per render would be a good thing for this game. The renders are great, but having to skip through like three renders and a soundbite for the next bit of text is a drag.

As said before, I'm fine with this game taking several more updates to get to sex, and I'm overtly critical of this game because it has potential to be really great. My issue is that certain parts of scenes and the amount of renders negatively affects the storytelling of this game.

Both sides are becoming a bit nuts here now, but I feel like there's a lot of people here who like that this is more than just a porn game, but find the storytelling a bit tedious. And just because the dev potentially might be listening to those who yell the loudest about fast sex, don't go trying to paint all of us who disliked a certain aspects of the storytelling as part of that bunch

I don't know what people are arguing about and I really don't care, this game is probably the best story based game out there. I've already created some playthroughs, all filthy, all good, good wife but sweet on son, good but with a weakness for the boys etc (and there are more) and I'm amazed by how careful the dev is with the choices and their consequences. If he won't rush it or succumb to the demand for mindless sex he will create a masterpiece and I'm looking forward for the next update. Actually this is the first time I'm considering to become a master patron for someone...

A dev will always listen to the people that is paying him/her. To what extent is up to them. It seems the biggest issue so far is how he is using the renders which isn't bad and of course the lack of some h scenes which to be honest is ok. Further updates should start to at least give players that. You don't have to have them with the player character, but you can use others for this goal. That way the characters lust builds up and people can see how well he can do h scenes.

I agree something needed to be before that "flirting scene", but as someone pointed out above, for a good a game as this is, that first part of the guitar lesson would have been bad in any kind of story, aside from an actual guitar lesson. It's just a very basic, boring listing of guitar stuff. And unless you wanna start playing the guitar and have no clue about it, it's not really useful for anything. Now say, he didn a thing where the two talked more about shared favorites or translating her favs from guitar to the piano, maybe bonding over music they both like, that would've been better, but aside from a fairly short setup, a guitar lesson tends to either become very nerdy or very basic as a plot device.

I think I am repeating myself here but I just would like to make my perspective clear I guess. For me the guitar lesson was not about the guitar-lesson itself (which was indeed boring) but to:
- Serve as a plot device (as you mention) to move the story with Sam along and give Sophia a reason to spend more time with Sam.
- Serve as a more quiet moment and bridge between the lewd content which I think is necessary to make sure the characters and story is not "pornified" too much.
- Humanize Sam and show us more of who he is and display his passion for music even more and make us understand why Sophia feels attracted to him.

You say you feel like another scene would have worked better as a bridge and I understand why you would say the guitar-teaching scene can be perceived as boring and another scene might therefore have been better.
Personally I am not sure how the dev could have pulled that of since Sam basically has been introduced first and foremost as a guitar-instructor of Sophia. Being Sophia's music teacher is his defining relationship with Sophia (together with being her sons friend and her neighbour to a lesser extend).
The only reason she visited Sam that day was to learn how to play the guitar so I don't think it would look very well if the dev would skip that part.

So yeah, I enjoyed the scene not because the content of Sam's lesson was that interesting but because it helped for me to define Sam as more than the pervy kid next door. For me a porn game works best if I can see the characters as more that one-dimensional "puppets" which is sadly how most characters in the game here act and that is just not sexy at all. Therefore I really enjoy scenes that show characters being "themselves" in a natural way and that is how I experienced the guitar-scene.

But I understand not everybody experienced and sees the guitar scene that way and that is okay. I just hope those kind of quieter character moments will still continue to appear in this game because otherwise it is in risk of making of the characters boring tropes without a soul and I just find those a lot less sexy than characters I can see as humans and relate to on some level.

If you've ever played FMC games its a trend to have the MC be a piece of meat you're directing into scenes you want to see. I mean this is trying to be a little different trying to show players how she's falling into being the kind of character you want her to be instead of an instant slut (not like that's a bad thing).

As a musician I agree . She is already musically ultra skilled so she only need a few tips regarding positions and chords shapes. 3 renders and a few "oh my god he's so good" lines to prove that the boy is somewhat a guitar genius and we would have been happy. But hats off on the renders quality, finger on the right positions, etc. ... nobody cares but bravo . Plus the music ... I'm sure it's beautiful (hopefully it was running in my head), but I don't play with built-in music, so to me it was just static pictures of something without great interest.

And the cello ... Even for a grown up professionnal it would be next to impossible to play anithing with her in between. So for what look like a child, well ... oh, it was the sexual part of another porn game where everything is possible it seems .

With all these meaningless details thrown into this music lesson, I was a little disapointed that she didn't told us how to make a salad, with 50 renders or so and 3.000 words (receipe, tools, variations, ...). No seriously, the more "real" you want to make look your game, the more the littles details will anger the player, because real means real, not sometime real (like anytime she isn't in a sexual situation) then absurd (like anytime sex is the MC focus). It kills the mood, nothing else .

Problem is really, what the consumer/player want it to be, rather than what it actually is. He is making and delivering an adult game and people throw a fit because it doesn't fit their own narrative. I find it good as it is, I have no desire to get rushed to the money shoot, or impose my own fetish onto other players because I want to see it in the game. What others might see as meaningless, I see as a creator that put a lot of work and thought into his game. For those that want something else there is plenty of adult content on the internet to consume that would appeal to their fetish and desire more.
