There is no point in replying to people who use the "Dude there's dRaGonS!!!!!" argument. It's stupid and they either know it is, or they think it's not.

Internal logic is a thing in storytelling, as is suspension of disbelief. You have to have a baseline of what is "real" in the fictional world. Now that can be hard sci-fi or it can be looney tones - but not both.

This game can stil be salvaged if the dev either pulls back to semi-realism with some sci-fantasy, or if he dives straight of the deep end - fuck it have a WhiteMale/AsianFemale faction ride in on literal horses, and a mad scientist release a bimbofication virus, go nuts. Have the protag find a magic fucking sword, idk.

But not this "Oh I'm a billion in depth and lost everything (somehow), let's....get an office job?" wut?

Yeah I am hoping that the dev just rushed the story and in future updates will fix it with some minor rewrites. I dont think it needs anything major. Just like you said either go crazy or go realistic. cant half ass in between.

It could go either way for me. I felt just as immersed as the beginning as I did in the free-play part. I do think there needs to be QoL features for the free-play part though. There does need to be less clicks when using the wifespy app.. I suggest removing the target "select" on the wifespy app and instead have a direct button into the phone and a button next to it for the target parameters. Move the camera button and mind control button into the targets phone instead, this way you can also just exit the targets phone directly with hitting the wifespy app from the targets phone. Maybe an attention icon on the sun(time change) app too so people don't have to repeatedly click it to check if something is going on. Regarding loop scenes, you just have to use a tiny amount of brainpower: Reply then do not show up to the date, boom no more useless messages. The dev should probably add a toggle for loop scenes for people who can't figure it out though. I think the task viewer provides all the info you should need to follow a specific plot, but maybe there should be a system where you can select a branch and it closes off the other branches.
This game has a lot of content for a v0.2, rooting for you!

I like your "magic sword and dragons" idea. Definitely worth trying to add something like this (not sarcasm) p.s. but not in this game

Maybe instead of having a target select button they have the three options "mind control, camera, phone" and those do basically what they say.

I thought about that. Personally I feel that would kill some of the charm and immersion of the game, as the idea is you are going into their phone to spy and that builds atmosphere imo. In fact, I originally thought to just add home-screen shortcuts for each of the targets with buttons that pop out when clicked for each of these things, but it ruins the fantasy of being a spy if you can just pull up the targets messages from your phone. It makes sense(just a vm/sandbox for each target and their things messgaes/camera etc..) but not for a game that needs "feelings" and "vibes". Thats why I think it'd be better to access the camera from inside the targets phone and access the mind control from inside the phone. It builds on the idea that you have this hidden app on their phone to spy etc etc..

Just a suggestion but what if instead when the MC loses his company the new owner gives him the option to stay on in his original position as long as he allows his wife to be corrupted.

that way him continuing to have contact with jenna would make more sense as would the new owner blackmailing him.

if the MC refuses then he has to get a shitty job and money is tight and that could open up options for his wife to start taking more and more risky work to make ends meet (ie stripping, escort etc)

just a couple ideas that could make the story a little more logical imo

The idea is good, but not as logical as you think. To agree to have your wife corrupted by someone in exchange for a job. That's some kind of unequal exchange. However, to add something like this, I will need to make a separate branch, but I'm too lazy. But the idea is good! I think someone can use it if they decide to create their own game

Just got to the losing the company for no reason. Should have just made this a VN with no decisions if you aren't going to give us decisions in the first place. The second you lose your company, you should be able to mind hack your new boss. Turn him into your sissy bitch and get your money back. Without this option this game is really lame. You have the numbers for all these contacts, but can't enter in everyone into the mind control app. You should have been able to turn jenna into your ally from the beginning using the app. That was the first mistake of the game.

I would enjoy a reverse-blacked game where you deprogram the women who have cheated on their husbands. Ideally you could then steal them for yourself as well. As long as that is a route with a decent amount of content I'll continue to follow the game. The fact that you can ignore the later interracial stuff leaves me cautiously optimistic.

The best one I can remember was A spell for all. Its an HTML where you use spells to control people. There are other people who also can use spells, but in this one you can figure out whos actually controlling them and stop them. Some people have been controlled for a long time, but most of the town is yours to take. And if you don't stop the other people that know spells then your family, your gf, and you will all become under their control.

I was first playing your game trying the non ntr route, but when the MC loses his company and any power he has, theres not much reason for that route. I would have liked to:

1. Be able to figure out who was controlling jenna
2. Try and control that person. That person probably didn't choose themselves as a target of the control.
3. If its the guy who took your company, then be able to add him to your targets and control him.
4. Even if you don't have the numbers for lots of people(your son's friend), you should be able to get their number from other people's phones(like your son). I would have liked to add him the second he started hitting on your wife. I haven't seen any way to mess with him yet. Right now even if your wife has no points in cheating she still sends him pictures, which is really weird. I could see that if he tried to pretend to be a photographer and wanted to see more of her, maybe she might give him something. But no one who has no intention of cheating sends pics like that. If he was a close friend it would be different. But he's a stranger.
5. If you try to put someone's number in and it won't let you, then be able to try and steal their phone and get yourself in. If this app lets you hack other phones, then it would be nice if it let you hack them within close proximity. When you went to Jenna's house, being able to hack into their phones would have been nice.
6. Be able to confront your wife about her bad friends. show your wife the messages that Jenna send you. If that was me I would have shown my wife right away. "Hey, your friend and my secretary keeps sending me her nudes even after i tell her to stop. You don't mind if i fire her for sexual harassment and you never talk to her again right?". My wife probably would have killed jenna.

So, I know this game is new, but thats lots of ideas that i think might make people like the game more. People dislike how you can't stop certain things from happening. For a game that lets you control other people, you can't control your life very much.

Open world is nice and we can see you put effort into it but maybe try when you're more experience. A lot of games got abandoned because they try to do too much. Not saying you can't, but be carefull because you might get overwhelmed quickly

well, I didn't have much time to do what you wrote. I think in a month I have already added more than 90% of what game creators usually add. The ideas you mentioned will largely be implemented in the game. I mean, I didn't add all those hints about taking control of a person if you find out who has them under control for no reason. Remember at least the storyline of the mc's niece. So I guess you're just expecting too much from me in too little time. Perhaps when you return to the game after a few updates, you will find the content more acceptable and exciting.

Played the game and the switch from "on rails visual novel" to "free play" tripped me out at first but was a welcome change tbh. The game itself plays on the morbid curiosity of going thru someone's phone and personally I think the sandbox approach is a better fit to it than the former gameplay method.
Adding something like a bit of RNG here and there so that X may happen on Y day if Z parameter is met would make the game feel much more organic as well.
IDK why people are complaining about repeatable scenes, this is just the 2nd update of the game, no? obviously theres going to be some repetition to it, in my opinion the game already has more content and substance than most cookie cutter HTML games on this site, which isnt really a high bar to begin with, but a bar nontheless.

Eitherway the game is very interesting and I found the second half of the game to be more interesting due to the freedom aspect of it.

You clearly haven't planned Warlock and boobs. Which implements what he's talking about with repeatable scenes and questing. When ever you go to bed there are a few things that can happen:

1. You're sister can give you BJ if your lust is high enough.
2. You're mom with same conditions can give you TJ
3. The chief's daughter will come in and give you shit for popping up in her dreams and with enough lust you can fuck her in the ass.

All repeatable.

As for questing, well you have two options. You can either pick a dungeon crawl or pick to go hunting which gives you a max of 3 encounters which depends on whether you got something like a dungeon crawl or random encounter like hunting slimes.

All of these give the game more life and unpredictability that isn't annoying therefore increasing the games lifespan

I generally don't complain or crib about games here because I know I am getting it for free. Sorry to say but the open world feature has not enhanced the game, atleast for me. After playing the previous version i thought this game would be one of the best game if it carries on the current trajectory and everyday I used to check the forum whether new build was released. After this release that feeling is gone. Don't get me wrong, I'll still play the game but the eagerness of release is gone. Sorry to the developer, don't want to make you feel bad, these are just my personal opinion. Peace
