No offence meant the Models are great Idea not bad but stoped playing it at this point.

Except it's a game. he could be a mute, quasimodo wearing glasses and be totally clueless about sex and since its a game still get all the girl's.

Since this seems to be exactly the same type of MC as say the MC in Amnesia another game I had to stop playing for the same reason I'm gonna have to prosume it's just easyer to write MC's as creepy assed perverts than actually write them as normal human beings.

I'm sure there are plenty that love this type of pervy adolescent MC's.
It certanly seems so judging by the number of games I have had to delete.
So I will just wish you luck and go back to playing a normal human beings like the MC in Long Road Home.

Hm ... reading this I actually have to agree, MC is kind of a douchebag. He has his good sides, like unrestricted caring about his family like it's supposed to be (not just the pervy way) but yeah, pretty full of himself and douchy at the same time.
Like the whole Mia thing. Loving her and her kink and I'm completely Ok with MC using it after finding out BUT if you use it to get something out of it you HAVE TO give back. Put the efford in and repay Mia in kind, little girls deserves it!.
Instead MC get's his dick wet doing nothing in return just weaseling through somehow. With the book he even has sort of a manual but nooo. Only saying he needs to do it but not actually putting the effort in ... and I like Mia ... ^^

All that being said it's the only "negative" thing I can think of and even that had to be pointed out to me to think about it. And if we males are being honest he is VERY close to a normal male human being at that age ... i mean come on ... don't act like we weren't like that. Maybe not as douchy but at least as horny.
Also there are way worse MCs out there, just saying.

Looking at the big picture, the overall game, I'm rather glad he is like that even if he is a bit to douchy sometimes. This game is more on the light and definitely on the funny side so a more "reluctant" MC whining about morality and all that whould be a huge blocker. So overall I agree with the statement but for me it's more of a "meh" point ^^

PS: Yes, poor millie definitely does not deserve that ... even though funny at times^^

I completely agree. I absolutely feel badly for Millie and think much of the MC's behavior is ridiculous if not outright terrible. However, like you say, I view it as comedic anyway. I don't feel like I need to connect with the MC and his actions / life really to be entertained. I look at it as something like watching a sitcom. Friends had its Chandler whom was funny to watch but would IRL be extremely irritating as a "friend" or even acquaintance. It didn't make the show any less hilarious for me to watch.

But not everyone likes that show, just like not everyone will enjoy this game. While I absolutely adore Above the Clouds, I don't think LWtbo is overreacting or anything. If it's not their cup of tea, maybe another leaf will appeal more to them.

On the contrary, his reasoning is absolutely valid and even made me think about aspects I did not pay attention to up until this point. Having read your responce I'm not even gonna attempt to deny I may I thought simular to the MC at one time.

But the diffrence is I grew out of it by 18.
I had other stuff to think about mainly work and car I still thought about booze nightclubs and women but I stopped thinking like this MC.

I got horny sure still do and I got laid now not somuch and yet I still didn't think like him.
I was more like the MC in Old Friends and Public Transport maybe but not like these ones.

So I used to struggle to play this type of MC from the start but after soome time if you don't enjoy something long enough.
You evenchally stop playing them altogether no matter how good the game looks to be.
Especially when he starts of so well and it really didn't help you get options to avoid being pervy thats why I mentioned Amnesia also because he started out not so bad.

On top of that If like this game I have the options to not look, not to touch and not to peek and I pick them like I like too on my first play through and then I see that scene and if i'm honest the ones just before it have to think why am I playing this game since my choices obviously dont effect the MC.
I'm not having a go at the game it's probably great if you can look passed that but I can't any longer.

And the only reason I posted was because if the MC is gonna be like that I'd rather know right off the bat and not be given false hope with pointless choices like this did and Amnesia is actually worse if i'm honest with it's none perv fake choices it takes even longer to show MC's true colours.

And I honestly wish this game good its just nolonger for me.

Jokes can still be good or bad. Even if we don't take the game so seriously, it's not absolved from having a few sad trombones. Can't win them all.
I generally agree that people shouldn't be so strict with games that are clearly meant to be comedies and put them in the same box as generic power fantasies for self-inserts. So the criticism should rather be about if the jokes worked or not.

I restarted this from the beginning rather than the update because I thought I saw that the beginning of the game had been redone and required a restart. I'm wondering if I'm remembering the wrong game, because, if it was redone, etc., the grammar and spelling were definitely skipped.

With several remasters going on in several games I'm playing, did I brainfart on this one? Not that I'm not enjoying the replay, but I hate to think I'm wasting about a dozen hours of game play on nothing new.

I don't remember it being redone, but I know for a fact a restart was not required. Mundo has been fixing spelling and grammar every few updates as it's gone along, so there could be more needed.

Yeah. I saved it off to play soon after the final posted and the mod was available, but I'm following a couple of others that did need the restart. I just confused them because I put off playing the update until now.
