Technically. But technically, someone around 30 could be a grandmother (she had a daughter at 15, who had a baby at 15). It's not what you would normally think of when you say something like, "Going to grandma's for Christmas" or w/e. It's why I was like, ". . . the hell? What grandmother?!"

Well to make things worse, the youngest recorded mom in the world (you can google it) was a Peruvian Girl of 5 years and 7 months, if something like this happen twice, and eleven year old could be a grandmonther. my self im a grand/uncle since i turned like 18 (my cousin/nephew was born before i was, and he had a kid when he was like 20, im uncle of the guy who had the kid, so im the grand uncle)

Yeah. I didn't bother looking anything up, but I knew for a fact that you could do 15 and 15. But folks that young being grandparents (or granduncles or grandaunts) don't look like what typically is a grand-someone, which is why I was confused. Evelyn doesn't look like a grandmother to me at all.

It is most likely an AVN problem? In a lot of them, parents / MILFs / grandparents are looking too young for their age. So she doesn't look like a grandparent, but might be confused with a porn grandparent?

I don't think so. I know plenty of 40-somethings and none of them could be confused with grandmothers either (other than possibly their kids got married in college and now have babies or toddlers. Yes, technically those are then grandmothers, but AVN or not the look of a grandmother to me is more like latter half of 50s or 60s+ not someone around 40. Hell, I even know of some GILFs in their 60s who look damn fine for their age and who get confused for MILFs.It is most likely an AVN problem? I think you missed what I meant. In a lot of VNs, the mother looks more like the older sister, or even younger than the real sister. Grandmothers often look more like mothers with gray hair due to the absence of wrinkles and their fair skin.
That's the reason in VNs that portray them 'older' there are comments about them actually looking their age/role.
So if ones expectation is mothers/grandmothers looking one generation younger than they should, it would make total sense to mistake her for a grandmother.
Therefore to me, the problem seems to be the discrepancy in looks between real mothers / grandmothers and porn VN mothers / grandmothers.
Ultimately I'm completely with you. But this discrepancy could explain the different perceptions of that image - depending on ones expectation of a grandmother or porn/VN-grandmother (who often is just identifiable by the gray hair).

Oh, I see. That might be true. I don't really make those assumptions myself. But I suppose if too many AVNs have distorted perceptions and so expectations in other games are based on previous ones, the mistake could be made.

I can't think of any games I've played other than Denos City that had realistically aged mothers whose children were old enough to star in a porn VN. Like, in the most extreme case the mother gave birth when she was 16, the child is now 18, so the mother is 34. 36 if she has three children, like in this game.So,grandma or mom?? I can buy that this mom is a 36 yo woman that has good genes and takes good care of herself. But saying that she looks like a grandma is ridiculous.
I would agree with you. In most games the MOM usually looks like an older sister (18-25). The sisters either look about the same age as the mom or in some cases like a 12-14 year old little girl.

And that was my point exactly. I never said she couldn't be a grandma (although here she isn't technically, either). I said she doesn't look anything like what comes to mind when someone IRL mentions a "grandma". She is a mother, not a grandmother.
