Update 2.2 - The Sexy Time Update

Here is a quick overview
- Prism's full Dreamscape
- Her full level three connection and (finally) some pervy scenes
- Meet her for a date or meditation and have some fun
- Invite her over for some nice and relaxing bondage
- Some QOL changes (inviting Prism over now has a skip button to the next day, Prism's convo topics now change are marked if they are read or not)

Figured it out. If you don't mark her "Holy fucking shit thank you" text as read then you don't have any options when you visit her at night. Once I marked it as read I was able to dream walk.
I'm going to fix this. I'm not sure why I attached it to clicking the button rather than when the message just pops up.


It might just be something weird in your browser. Despite there being no cursor change, can you still click on the words and have something happen?

And could you try another browser perhaps? Which one are you currently using? Do you have any special "Accessibility" features turn on or anything like that that might affect how the pages are rendered?

(You know, this would actually be a very good game for blind players, except for the subtlety of the font changes used for this sort of puzzle. When Myscra has nothing else to do [Ha!] he might want to consider whether there could be an alternative puzzle dynamic that would totally suit a blind player. It'd be a worthy addition to the game I feel.)
Hmmmmmm, I always like more types of puzzles. Not sure about one that would be friendlier for visually impaired players. If anyone has any ideas, I'm down for it.

Also, taking the opportunity. Great job with the game Myscra, I'm already completely in love with Prism, and really curious to what's to come with Umbralette.

fairly sure the elseif should also have a Kbond in it. This is in both RelaxR and RelaxSD.

Firefox, then Opera when i thought of it.

And i have no special features on.

Np, for me it was the same thing, I actually went to look at the code to understand what I was supposed to do, and it took a while for things to click.

this update sounds pretty interesting. I probably won't be able to get a chance to play it until tomorrow evening, but this sounds like it should be a fun update.

this appears to increment a variable called $player.items.Kbond but checks to see if the completion is based on $player.items.bond

I've poked around in the html and found a few other things of a similar nature, such as a variable with a space in the name that will break skill increments/checks for completion in regards to the knowledge vault entry.

If this is the current state of variables, and fixing it will break saves, might i suggest changing the way the check for pushing info to the vault is done from "is exactly 4" to "is greater than 3"

So as I'm playing through for the first time in a few months, I'm definitely enjoying your rewrite of the first week. However, there are some spelling/word choices that seem to be jumping out at me for some reason, and thought I'd let you know. Great work on the game so far, thank you!

Not sure if this has been flagged (didn't find it on a search) but when hanging out with Prism and Kiara after getting Olivia's number, this will show up at the bottom sometimes

He is wearing black sunglasses and a perpetual scowl on his lantern-jawed face. enjoys hanging out and feels slightly closer to you and Kiara.
I haven't met Kingston yet so not sure what's going on.

You could allow visually impaired players to change the font colour or background for those kinds of links at the start of play. They could pick colours they felt were appropriate even keeping something that allowed them to experience the test like a fully sighted person would. It could ruin the visual element of the puzzle for anyone looking to do so but, that it is their call to do so. For a colour blind person it would solve the issue... I'd guess that a text to speech program actually tells you it's a link already....

I think you can add image tags in a friendly manner by adding them like this : <img src="some image.png" alt="image description">

Not that this is an issue right now though.

Bug when hanging out with crystal
If I ask the following I get weird results:
Talk about handcuffs - works fine
Talk about rope - brings up sensory depravation
Talk about blindfold - brings up a blank page..

I think this is just a numbering duplication on the text area... the buttons are 14 15 and 16 the text area is 14 14 and 15.

I am excited for Umbralette as well. I have an idea of where I'm going to take her but I'm going to see how the narrative evolves.

Yeah I messed up the numbers for those conversations, It's fixed now. Same for the error code, accidentally erased a line.

Its a byproduct of a short cut that has unforeseen errors. It should be fixed now.

there are some places where things that claim to affect stats, don't actually affect said stats (ie: prism's stress after trust thing) it also seems to be possible to to cap a stat so that it can't be reduced. (again, prism.sts after the trust thing is an example, but i'm pretty sure i remember it happening with a few other stats during her minigame.)

also the comment that someone had about having the wrong name during a prism event happened to me too, iirc, withing three or 4 vists after the trust thing.

there were also a couple of wierd happenings with the stress relief potion of prism that makes me thing you may want to give that entire set of loops another look.

Since i wasn't sure you would actually see the comment i stopped keeping track of things like that and just edited the html to fix it where i could and went on about my day. the stress relief portion of the "pirsm minigame" was convoluted enough that i didn't attempt to do anything... oh, also, it's possible to get bondage to show up in your vault... as many times as you want.... so, the check(s) for that push don't seem to be set up right...

also, and this doesn't have anything to do with bugs in the game, but i noticed that you switch conventions for variable changes
set $player.stat = $player.stat + 4
vs
set $player.stat+=4 (or set $player.stat += 4)

using the condenced $player.stat+=4 saves the most characters and with how many times it gets used may be the best choice to find/replace all with... unless you want to rip it all out and make it into a function. (I do not recommend making it a function at this point in development)

You'd want a test display so they could see what they are doing to themselves :)

Also, another thing that i noticed, when expecting a visit from prism the next morning, if you visit kiara in dream world, it fails to trigger the prism visit, so it seems like something in the kiara scene is breaking the prism even trigger.
