^ This... I understand some people like her as she is smoking hot, in my looks list there is a HUGE gap after Ana going to poor Megan and lastly to Angela...
However if some people try to justify her personality... oh no... what she did was utter trash !! Here's the same scenario with a different motive and I bet you most people would still hate her, but not as much...
MC comes home to find Ana in bed with that same dude (instead of him walking past you and apologizing), he yells at her and demands an explanation, she says "I'm sorry but I dont love you anymore, the spark isnt there, I wish you didnt have to find out this way... I'll pack my bags... sorry"
The MC would still feel incredibly hurt and bitter towards her as he would still feel he got dumped and cheated on for no fault of his own, but Ana would be excusable... you could understand she fell "out of love" and allow her to move on...
Instead she pulled one of the dumbest tricks cheating bitches like to do "you lack passion, I want to see my man be a MAN (alpha), fight for me, or I'll continue to cuck you to get a reaction !!"
In that scenario Ana is just a stupid cunt that deserves nothing but pity and contempt... I am glad with what Dr Pink did for the MC's reaction, he kept cool headed, and basically ghosted her... she got a reaction, just neither of the ones she wanted... he didnt get angry and change to being "alpha" in order to fight for her, nor did he accept himself as a beta cuck, he was a "MAN's MAN" and simply said "your garbage not worth fighting for" without even saying a word.

That's it EXACTLY, that says it all, haha! I've always been saying that what Ana did was inexcusable, but how MC reacted was exactly the right one, because not only did she ruin the relationship entirely, but also by actions of her own she made herself worthless, and she realized that right after MC walked out, you could see the regret on her face, but it's far too late now. If she would've just talked to MC, they could've worked things out. Like when they meet again after so long back in the house where it all happened, she came to realize that that mundane life etc is what she wants NOW, that it was exactly what she needed. Well, too bad, you fucked that up THEN, there's no going back now, goodbye!

This might be a bit harsh to say, but I've never been interested in the threeway relationship with Melissa and Megan, only with Melissa, but if this is the way I'm forced to make a decision, well, so be it, as much as I hate it, I'd rather nobody die of course (actually just shove that step-douche in the fire and let him burn xD), but if THIS is the only way I can have my monogamous relationship with Melissa, then that's just how it has to be, haha.

Is it? It's not a complete black and white issue. MC got rich ( early in his 20's) and then turned into retiree, someone wasting away with no real life goals or ambitions.
For a girl like her, it was practically a slow death. And their relationship also turned stale/passionless.
And I doubt she immediately jumped into sack with someone to get his attention, this was likely her last resort, after everything else failed.
And common', you have to see the irony here of people calling out a cheating partner complete trash, I guess everyone here is 100% faithful on every porn game playthrough. Or irl.
Imo, reconcilliation with her should still be an option.
It's likely though player will face a final option to lose all his money here ( on Liam's treatment), probably leading to one of better endings.

To me it's not about cheating, cause yes the MC cheats on the girls even in this game, but you know what ? he comes clean with it at least in Melissa and Megan's case. He tells them both that he loves both of them, and it's about love not just sex !
Ana didn't love that dude, it's hard to even think she loved the MC ! The issue is WHY she cheated, not THAT she cheated.
I can't believe that you who are writing such a good game as Retriveing the Past, thinks that Ana is sympathetic in any way shape of form...
All of us read the game and not just played it, cheating for such a stupid ass reason strikes a nerve in people, cause that's one of the most common excuses used in RL for people cheating on their significant others.
I believe i see the full picture and not just looking at the cheating part. Whatever we believe i guess we all have to wait for the end and then make up our minds. There are always two sides to a story...

Hmm, I think it's best that the cheating subject would be dropped, I can see that it's a very sensitive topic and it is and can easily strike a nerve, even I was starting to get a little worked up stating my opinion, probably going too far with it even, hence I needed a moment to calm down, I don't think we need this kind of drama in a place where we're supposed to have fun and/or relax. I had it happen to me too, and the person that was stolen from me killed herself... That's why I despise NTR.
This isn't about that so much, as my anger isn't towards the guy, he was basically a living dildo for all he mattered...it's about why Ana cheated...
As Eerie and myself have said multiple times, she could have just left the MC, and even sent him a pic of her getting gangbanged by 12 BBC, and it would have been better than what she did.
This is almost the same as rape shaming, when guys defense of having raped a woman in RL or in these kinds of games is "look at how she was dressed, she's a slut that wanted this". Here Ana is basically saying "you made me cheat on you for being boring".
I guess Ana didn't want a good life and secure financial living for the rest of her life, she wanted to keep having sex in the beach/park like a common whore, and when she didn't get that she chose to cheat to try to bring the MC back to that level.

Hmm, that's a pretty profound way of thinking, and I actually did try to forgive Ana at first in the story, but every time I was about to click yes, you know, to forgive and get with her again, I was like "nope, I can't do that, sorry...I may forgive one day, but we're never getting back together".
Forgiving isn't a bad thing, I mean, resentment and regret is bad energy, and waste of it, just forgive, let go and move on, though it may be easier said than done of course, but whenever you feel like you're ready to, do it, and you'll feel better and can leave it all behind.
