The friendship between MC and Liam is so well done. I teared up a little bit. This game deserves a remake with more modern renders and extra scenes and dialogue man

I was reading this thread from the beginning, and it's incredible how in 2018 development seemed so simple, yet at the same time more rewarding. You can see that in just a few months, people were already discussing the big controversy of this game. If it were today, it would only reach this point after 3 years.
I came to this game to have fun, not to cry. It's still incredible, but it hurt my soul not to be able to save the two girls, I wanted to make the redhead suffer.
Mann fuck these renpy games, I was looking for some good corrruption/netorare games, yet what I got instead is some tragic events, from alphaomega, it was raining that night, and then this game
Renpy is just a game (the script) engine and the best one for this sort of games AFAIK. If you mean the graphics program / style, I think it is DAZ which is also one of the best alongside with VAM. I cannot stand the anime/hentai art (and the stories in those games are mostly weird as well).
This is one of the best adult VNs I have played, and also one I will never play again from the PTSD
Not the best, just the lazy way for people that don't want to develop a real game, but I won't argue about it.

How many people are able to develop "a real game" in Unity or smth like that?
If not for Renpy l, we wouldn't have a tenth part of the games we currently have on this site ( some of them would be a good riddance but some I would want to miss).
"A real game" and a well written/drawn visual novel are two different concepts.
I agree that using Ren'Py to write an actual videogame is like playing tennis with a broom instead of a racket, but most of so called "games" written in Ren'Py are - thank goodness - more properly classified as visual novels than videogames.

y'all are confusing yourselves. You're after a porn game more than a "visual novel". You can't stray away from this formula because you can't comprend what that means; and you can't comprend what that means because you have low or no exposure to any other porn game.
Consider that Honey Select/other Illusion game is an actual porn game, and people are using Honey Select to "draw" their games. Honey Select itself isn't very immersive, and is more for customizing scenes, and people use it as such. There are Other games that have that "visual novel" experience, but Illusion games aren't really plot intensive.
Ren'Py games are blackholes that go no where for the dev's. They spend all their resources(time) "drawing" instead of developing something. You will forever be stuck with poor development and scouring for a good, completed game going with this route.
Again, I don't want to argue about this, so that's the last thing I will say about it.

I can see that it is you who are the most confused person here. These kind of games are commonly called AVN (Adult Visual Novel), and that's what the majority of people are after on this and similar sites.

Sad about the forced housefire. Very game until then. oh well. lucky the devs next game was alot better.
But wont finish this game now when i know there is no way to save both girls.
Ive played alot, and i mean alot of games from different devs. and this force house fire is one of the worst choice of all time in a game.
But seemed the devs learned a lesson and didn't do that kind of choice again because so far the next game Beein A DIK is one of the best i ever played.
Praise for the dev for making another really amazing game.
