I last played the .14 edition. Does someone have a save from the end of .14 I can import to .17?

That won't work and is not necessary. The developer provides "bookmarks" -- special save games -- at the end of each episodes. I'm including the exact point in my walkthrough (see signature). What you must do is use the special executable to install those savegames in the correct folder or place the savegames folder to the correct folder in your AppData directory. All is explained in text files...

After that start the game and go to the Options. In your case click on the v014 left of the path you want. You then start at the end of .14 edition and you can play the newer ones by yourself. If you don't want to use my walkthrough, use the H for a hint where to start.

I think the characters in this game are all supposed to be based around real proportions. Average guys with an average dick will long for a sex adventure and I guess that's what this game is about.

VS win-games run even in wine without a single extra touch

I hope you're right. Nine month ago I created a new Windows partition and off course activated it. No problems. Today a "security" update told me my Windows key was illegal. What? Phoned with Microsoft and they could do nothing for me except buying another license. Think not!

So I just tried a few Ren'Py games and they work in Linux. I saw that Visionaire Studio 3.4 works in Wine, so the following step will be testing this game. I searched this thread and found some other posts with problems running Wine on a Mac. Will see...

@.dll missing problem: There are multiple answers to such a problem in this thread, all over the forum AND millions in the internet. Use the damn search and the software "Brain v1.0"! If then still problems exist, asking is absolutly ok imo.

For me in my Kubuntu it was a surprisingly smooth click and run. If i think of rpgm...tiring.
