I wish the game had lasted a little longer, it was a game that I enjoyed spending my time. you're a really talented developer Classy Lemon I'm playing your other game and I'm still having fun. it's just a little heartbreaking that this game ended here.

I replayed this game after like a year i guess and i must say seeing a another game set in the same world would be very welcomed.
or even a sequel to this game.

this game just hits hard love for the developer.

So I won't lie and say that the obvious declining interest in the game isn't discouraging. However I also won't lie and say that I don't realize the reason for it.

Since the first release I've received a lot of great feedback and constructive criticism. Patch 0.7 will be the final update to the game, as such I have made a few notes of areas I'd like to change and/or improve upon for my next game.

- More focus on the girls. Until now I've tended to put more focus on the MC and his story.
- While some people like the larger eyes, I realize that it's alienated a lot of people as well. In the end I don't think it was a good design choice.
- Sandbox be gone.
- Give the girls continuous roles throughout the story, rather than giving them one storyline each and then almost forgetting about them.
- More dialogue choices and player input.
- Spend more time on designing the characters.
- Don't create more work for myself by working on game elements that people don't care about. This may not directly improve the game, but I'll be able to work more effectively which I think will indirectly improve it.

Things that I believe have seen improvements later in the game, but are executed poorly enough at the start to deter a lot of people:

- Render quality. Early renders both have bad quality and poor lighting, I also had a tendency to keep the player on the same static image for way too long.
- Dialogue. Stop overexplaining and talking about pointless things. It's boring. Make dialogue less stale, let it flow more naturally.

Edit: I made it sound like I'm abandoning the game. That's not the case. Next patch would've been the last one regardless of how it went.

while this post is a couple of years old now, this is what I really like to see from developers. Always learning and taking critism where it is due and of course listening to feedback that is great about the game. It's always difficult to strike a balance between expectation and reality in the sense that you can't please everyone, and trying to do so, can ultimately ruin a vn whether it is an adult vn or a general vn, at least I think so and I am no developer, though I wish I was since I have great ideas. I just wanted to say, this developer strikes a happy medium and is willing to learn and adapt and improve. Sadly so many other developers won't listen to any kind of criticism because they are of the opinion they are being attacked personally, and what they can't seem to understand is, when you create these adult vn's, your always going to get critism of one kind or the other, the solution is to do what this developer has done or will do take what you have learned from making a game, and take on board what people are saying and see if you can adapt to what they are saying, but the story is yours and ultimately you have to make the tough decisions on whether the vn is a success or not, and not take personal insult from constructive critism. Thank you for this game, I hope there will some kind of follow on from it, sort of a serialization even if it is only one more story from the world you created, its better than nothing

It's been quite awhile with this. What are the different endings? IIRC, it's just whom the MC chooses to be with at the end. Not sure if that really counts, since literally nothing else changes — same outcome for the war, same new abilities for the MC, same pretty much everything else, right? But as I said, it's been a long time now.

I had version 0.5 on my computer for over two years. I saw version 0.6 and thought "I'll wait for 0.7".
When 1.0 hit, it apparently didn't quite register.
It took me several occasional visits to this thread over time to eventually arrive at the conclusion that maybe I should just download it.
So, uhh, good ending. Wrapped up some open questions, and feels like it could continue, but doesn't have to.
I reckon now I should re-check project passion, which I've not looked at for at least half as long.
