A small part of it is definitely due to discontinuing the 100$ tier
Ah so that is why the $ per pledge dropped so much. Then the family issues happened and they dropped even more.
(Here i think Patreon should handle verification of sick leave / family issues, they got nothing better to do really and devs shouldn't need to provide such info publicly)

As for increasing popularity, problem is NTR is not very popular in west and a lot of time people are alergic to it.
Truth to be told there is maybe 5 good netorare games? Mostly what people encounter is netorase which is crap and sadly bundled under same NTR tag :/
You would want to cross promote with project attracting similar audience but when there are no such projects...
Hope steam release will help them. If not they should translate to jp (+ofc censoring) and sell there.

Bar for the Japs and the Chinese (both not particularly positive on foreign languages as far as I know), In My Very Humble Opinion it's a bit of a wasted effort, most of us are ESL and.... seriously.... hentai-speak sounds hilarious in English, I can only wonder how it sounds in my native language.

Just for fun, translation would be a free volunteer thing, right? And how many lines we're talking about?

I doubt it will be volunteer work since this game is massive. A while ago there was a text file inside the data folder in one of the patches with all the lines of dialogue in the game and it was 397k at the time and like I said, this was a while ago. When the game is finished it wouldn't be crazy to see that number around the half a million lines.

I agree, it seems like a wasted effort, unless it will actually attract some new patreons? that could maybe happened.

Mhm but i think for Asia they need to put it on their Hentai storefront , steam is not that popular there and they certainly don't come to it looking for hentai.

So I checked and I have a few things to say:

1) You saved in front of the wrong convenience store. That's not Sato's.
2) I entered (or tried to enter) both convenience stores just in case but I couldn't enter Sato's because you haven't even accepted the 7/11 job at the town hall in that save.
3) You have the teleport ring in your inventory.
4) The game doesn't crash on my end.

These are huge red flags so I'm going to assume the game crashed because you fucked it up. Teleportation ring is not noob friendly, hence why there's a big disclaimer before you accept it. I can tell that you already completely botched that save because in Ayame's house the tile passability script is dead which is caused by using the teleport ring at a bad time. Learned that the hard way.

Rule of thumb. If you use CTRL to walk through walls and/or use the teleportation ring, don't bother posting bug reports.

Yo I'm french and here hentai (really all porn) is NOT illegal. There's a time and place for it. Usually you have to have a curtain or a door in between "e for everyone" and "m for mmm pussy" but it's definitely not illegal.

Which countries are those? North Korea?
Anyway one of the big reasons why they dont get more support are pledge tiers. Basically there should have been like a 5$ tier that gives access to patch releases. 10$ per month is way too much for many people to drop on a single Patreon game.

Yeah, lol, not everyone lives in UK or Germany or US. $ is strong currency for many. Setting first tier at 10 is doing yourself a disservice

If people don't support them at least here and then with 10$ they wouldn't support them with 5$ either. They probably know how many unique supporters they had in last months. My guess is that at 5$ they would need over 1k supporters to have same amount pledged as now so it wouldn't really work.

Plenty of other projects charge 10$/month, some have 5$ tier for a censored version lol. Its a manner of whatever they give enough content to charge that much.

Now this got me thinking about the retail price in relation to how much content there is. It has like twice the content of a pretty beefy h-game, not to mention those that release with just couple scenes (and still sell!). But people won't really pay more then for regular h-game :/. Two smaller games would let them monetize better....
